Bloody Nightmare

A heart is broken and I am dead
Wondering when this pain will end
My heart will need to mend
Crying out loud screaming through blood
It soaks the floor I collapse in mud
Crawling slowly I cannot breathe
My vision is blurry and now I can't see
I hear a scream and demon bell
The world is now a freezing hell...

A Sonnet of Confidence

I used to march without a sense of pride
And never held myself with high esteem.
Appeasing everybody else’s dream,
I’d lose the battle fighting for their side.
I was a soldier, blank and hazy-eyed.
My heart would stop and start and wait and scream
Because the fight would not ignite a beam
And leave me dark – a fight with strength denied.

But now, I’ll bid that weak design adieu.
Remove the shield that reaches from the past
And let my heart be stabbed with Wisdom’s dagger.
I now must run with strength in every shoe
And fight so that my will is not the last.
I’ll redefine what it means to have “swagger.”

In the Event of a Car Crash(Given Another Chance At Life)

One red dirt road surely to lead us home.
Until we hit that patch of gravel.
It sent our vehicle spinning three hundred and sixy degrees around.
My God!
We hit the bar ditch and went flying.
My hands pressed against the dashboard.
My heart beat pounding faster.
Everything in bittersweet slow motion.
Until we crashed upside down like waves in the ocean.
My breaths began to shorten.
My chest cavity aches.
I'm trying to find a way out in all the chaos.
The windshield breaks and i slowly unstrap my seat belt.
I begin crawling on my knees.
Glass carving cuts into my hands.
I say Dear God please!
Help me.
My heart beating a million miles per second.
I find my way in the darkness to the grass and the sand.
I lie flat on my back and tears fall from these eyes.
Adrenaline has failed me, pain begins to take it's course.
Is this really happening?
I roll over and stand on my knees.
The pain erupts through my body, and I look towards the stars.
Cuts across my flesh that will surely leave scars.
Thank you God.
For allowing me to live through this, it could have been such a tragedy.
I'm alive, and this will be just another part of a chapter that makes up history.

A Reoccurring Dream....

Running, running in the dark, emerging from the woods late in the night.
Whispering clouds seem to drift before the face of the moon. Looking over
my shoulder, yet, as always, no- one is there, No- one is ever there. There
is a house, always the same house. I come to window, always the same
window, crouching low, I am afraid, always afraid. My shaking fingers grasp
the sill, I raise my head ever so slowly, as my heart is beating out of my
chest. My eyes clear the edge of the sill, instantly it seems as though
my heart and time stand still. Apparitions, hundreds of them, moving, lost
as though they seek something. I pray silently to God for protection, suddenly
I feel warmed, as though a blanket has been wrapped around me. Without
conscious thought, I begin to pray for the souls I see within each apparition
I see. Those that look at me and what seems like their looking into my soul
smile at me, then disappear into a soft glowing light. Those that don't look
at me remain. What can this mean?

Has not your heart burned within you at evening’s
Holy hour and calm as if it is in most depths discerned
the presence of a loftier power?

It was God’s voice which spoke in silence to your silent
heart and bade each worthier thought awake, and every
                      dream of earth depart

Oh voice of God, forever close, in low sweet accents
whispering peace, make us your harmonies to hear the
                  heavenly echoes which never stop

My Heart, Your Hands and Vice Versa

There is so much to be said.
The thoughts are swimming through my head.
I can't erase my wrongs, but I hope you see that I've changed internally.
Replacing insecurity with assurance.
We will battle the test of time.
Here's where I'll draw a line.
Right here in the sand.
Look into my brown eyes, take ahold of both of my hands.
So much to say.
The words are on the tip of my tongue.
I won't let you down.
Not this time.
I won't let you drown.
This is my last surviving chance.
The pressure is on.
My heart pulsating again and again.
Don't let go until I release everything I have kept locked in my heart.
I can't go on without telling you the truth.
This weight I've carried from the start.
Day one.
I'm sorry I ever doubted you.
I promise you that I'll make it up to you.
Just place your heart right here for me to see and to hold.
I'll give you my everything.
My heart. My soul.
You truly are the world to me.

Save Our Generation

Another new born comes on earth
Another man leaves this world
Another brand new day has arrive
Another night falls
Life continues to roll
The earth go round and round
Another heart breaks
Tears falls
Another heart feels happy
Smile on faces
What has this earth becomes
To deserve all this cruelty
Earth continues to suffer
But who is to blame
It's us human that is responsible
On the judgement day there will be grind teeth
What will the new generation be like
If the example of its ancestors
Is just bad example
They will think that its normal
The earth will continues to suffer
My brothers has once sings
Together we've tried
All has just blown away in the wind
Human has become more dangerous
We don't know the meaning of sharing anymore
Just pouring of blood each and every day
Poor this earth
Is drowning in the blood of innocent
Accomplish will continues to clap hands
The good for nothing will keep saying that he deserve it
What's this earth becoming
Let's save our generation
Not tomorrow, not tonight
But right now

The Expanse of Nothingness

This victim of self like a snake
Broken heart to devour my pride
And then what coils around will awake
Ouroboros eating his lies

This hero of truth like a trance
All black and white in this haze
Where my sword in the darkness will dance
Behind my shield I dream for days

This hatred for life like a game
Noisy conflict unfolding the scenes
And within each of the players a pain
Now their silence gives birth to teams

This wisdom of love like a dare
Will I speak of such deep disease
When what I am is too much to bare?
On the edge and with no release

This painting is not a man
Nor child, not even real
I am the constantly changing sands
And there is nothing I can not feel

I will become every fall
I awake to remember the words
That encumbers the many tall
And have silenced all those that heard

This truth can not change its rhyme
Only reflect on those that hide
And the heart ever heeds the signs
Drawn to the changes within the tides

A Heartfelt Ride

My heart is on the ride, bouncing
Upon a masterpiece of art
Painted by His hand, taunting
Stroking brush across the canvas.

In the pursuit of a vision
He attempts to bring it to life
With His expert hand in motion
At time forceful, other times light.

He takes my heart upon a flight
Above a magnificent land
The measure of His love to light
The walls of its chambers, His plan.

Yet to ride the land He designs
Takes it through valleys and steep hills
Upon a thorny path hard to climb
But along with the song of two whippoorwills.

If not for the grace of seeing
The beauty of His will while it flew
It would have given up its beating
With the pain found in coming true.

Glow

Breaking upon a landslide's crest.
My heart is still the thing that fits me best.
Even though I ran among the rest.
I know now I am being put to the test.

There is no time for me to spare.
I've given everything with all my care.
There is no need to stop and stare.
I've done what i believe, what I find fair.

Now its time to let it all go.
To everything I pretended not to know.
Or maybe it just wasn't time to show.
But inside my heart a garnet fire will glow.

At the turning point, I find myself here.
I was in control, but afraid to stear.
Then suddenly it all became crystal clear.
Walking tall in this life I shall not fear.

I will not accept indecision of anything that is foe.
I'm ready for any complications that may bestow.
I'm moving in streams. I am the flow.
In my heart a garnet fire gives glow.

Beast and Angel In the Flame

Beast and Angel in the Flame

It will take more than religion to save you
More than the word of God to ignite you
More than thought to give you direction
More than study to give you conviction

And faith in the mountain will not help you
Belief in a path cannot guide you
Your moral decisions will only drown you
Until you wake up

When nothing but your own mirror calls you
And nothing but your own heart inflames you
All the passion in the world
Will remain nothing more than a shadow

When one day realization beckons you
With its delicate finger of remembrance
Makes you kneel at the foot of acceptance
And kiss the feet of who you are

When the doors of your judgment crumble
before the power of your desire
All the boundaries you have set
Will vanish in the needing want of fire

You will stand naked before another person
All your heart, your body, your spirit left; open
When gratitude and release floods every vein
Just to know you are human; again

All the same, all the same; we are all the same
In pleasure and in pain
We are all the same
Beast and Angel in the flame

And when life washes through you
In pain and pleasure for you
When you stand on this brink and it encompasses you
In a single name

Then lift your head in surrender
Raise your eyes in strength
All that you are in one second remember
Without you I am nothing

And I stand before you with belief
I hold you bound with a power higher than common love
Naked
Drawn to each other by a force greater than the both of us

And the vicious and the crack where the light pours in
And the supplicant and in the wine taste of beyond relief
I am saved
By the you beyond love

It will take more than a moral to save you
More than the words of a poet to ignite you
More than institution to give you direction
More than faith to give you religion

And trust in the law will not help you
Belief in justice will not lead you
Such moral decisions will only befool you
Until you wake up

When nothing but your own mirror calls you
And nothing but your own heart inflames you
All the passion in the world
Will remain nothing more than an unknown shadow

All the same, all the same; we are all the same
In pleasure and in pain
We are all the same
Angel and Beast in the flame

Numbness

I’m heartless.
I don’t know where my heart is.

Hateful,
I’m looking for my happiness.

But I can’t move,
I’m footless.
Grounded feeling low
like the ground is.

I’m guideless.
and I’m eyeless,
but I can see the pain that’s within this.

So I’m paralyzed and blinded.

You can’t see the peril
through my eye lids.

But I’m not earless.
Society is roaring like a lion.
If I said I didn’t listen,
I’d be lying.

The truth lies inside a victim’s eyes.
I’m blind.
My real eyes can’t realize real lies.

We all have brains,
you’re thoughtless.

Maybe I’m a victim,
but I don’t hit them,
violence can never free one.

I’m punch-less so I guess I’m living life handless.

I’m touch-less,
can’t feel bliss.
I can’t feel for the place that my heart is.

I’m not mouth-less,
I’m soundless.
Mute like a scream
from a pit that’s bottomless.

I guess I’m alive,
but I’m lifeless.
I don’t know where my life went.

So I’m fallen
because I’m flightless.
Angels can’t soar with plight.
I’m wingless.

How could I write this if I was paralyzed?
Well I’m not brainless
or thoughtless.
On this paper,
I let my thoughts drip.

My brain has a leaking faucet.
I brainstorm so much in my mind,
I flood it.

I rather feel pain
than numbness.

Please,
how can I change this?

The Soul of a Romantic Cries Communism

With a poet’s soul and an opened door
From his heart the words begin to pour
Rhetoric drenched with romantic edge
Sobering reality at its best.
His rhythm and meter, all steps in time
The beating of a heart the soul of a mime
Feelings of love, desires of peace
Dreams of brotherhood and perfect unity.
The fire that dances within his soul
Spins your mind and gains control
Pushing and striving, reaching out far
Grabs your attention, begins to spar
Engrave this now in the chambers of your heart
These words, this rhetoric will always set him apart

She

Her heart,
Her heart bled for them all
And yet, she could not reach them
Teach them
Or help them understand
Anything beyond their fear

Sheer
Acts of will power kept her hoping
All the while coping
With the destruction
They would inevitably leave
And still she’d believe
In them, giving them
Another chance

All acts of deepening were met with resistance
That ancient dance
Of false bravado

Wings off of fly’s, they were still being born
And far too many stillborn
Had the hearts of the ancients

They see one dimensional
Seeking the power and the glory
To cover up the inadequacy
To hide their story
From the beginning of time

She is patient
Even in her grief
As heart is ripped out again and again
Love to hatred in a struggle of shame
Verses blame
In the court of Humanity

Their vanity
Sometimes amazed her
Their density almost crazed her
And their obstinace
And choice of circumstance
Puzzled her

The cursing, the fighting, the horror and pain
Is excruciating, as it begins again, and again

But she is too patient
She waits with sweet Breath held
Soft whisperings meld
With the moonlight
Urging them to remember how
To allow
Reconnection
Resurrection.

Even just take the time to
Notice….
Perfection
In each sunset
And sunrise ever seen.
And remember it’s all a dream
Brought to this place
This last hurrah race
To the finished line

Needed was the whole time line
So they could rewrite the script
Some were ready, some were equipped
They’d been evolving for thousands of centuries after all
They were martyred, some, or sealed behind a wall
Yet undaunted returning
In time for the burning
Of witches.
Teardrops in memory served
As the only marker of those times
And words
Cannot convey the pain
Of the betrayal Judas spoke
In her name.
Still she awaits
Never hesitates
In her loving.
