Various Frustrations Concerning the Hiccup-Fart ******

and so it was that after a good run of
great sex & many lovers,
s/he came across a period of time unlike
any of her/his friends could come close to comparing,
a time of
frustrating
hiccup-fart
orgasms.

each time s/he was getting towards that final punch of that final round
rockin’ & a sockin’ like the robots themselves,
off went the gas pumps inside &
oh
the
embarrassment---
the kissing went ripe as the
hiccups blew in the face of the lover still trying to concentrate
(and dinner only a few minutes/hours ago, now cascading in a fine mist across the face) &
as if that wasn’t enough to drive a stake in any
romance of any satisfactory quality,
out came the blast from the other end
filling the scene with
custom methane &
sooner than later
(as if it was anticipated anymore by the other party),
the end result of
what coulda’ been,
shoulda’ been,
but clearly
wasn’t.

The Importance of the Alternative Perspective

Importance of the Alternative Perspective

Contortions of my sentient being
Distortions of my inclinations to dream
Proportions of truth deciphering what it all means
Abortions of opinion as things are not always as they seem

Embellishments of truth displayed on the evening news
An inelegance that’s uncouth waiting for uncivilised cues
An epiphany of untold magnitude seen in awestruck colours of light and hues
A litany of criminal activity revealed by a complex set of clues

The vibrant laughter of children free from care or thought or sorrow
The vagrant daughter of an aristocrat whose forced to beg and borrow
The fragrant spice of delicate refine that contemplated living for tomorrow
The content found on television devoid of depth and so very hollow

Renewed graces of a man given a second chance at living
Perused statements of an intellect whose ideas are always giving
Confused looks from a stern command who remains perpetually unforgiving
The innocent intentions of a naive soul who stakes his fate on wishing

An ordained priest of benevolence preaching love to his fellow man
The contained feast of eloquence as a poet reaches linguistic highs
The engrained yeast of vigilance pacing back and forward as she cries
While the deranged beast of malevolence plots an innocent souls demise

Should we contain the urge to purge our souls from all this hate ?
Or simply refrain to complain at all lest we get locked out of Heavens gate?
Can we pertain noble incline in the workings of the human mind?
Or is the most essential attribute to remain above all else to be kind?

Luminary Visions

Luminary Visions

Automatic liberty for one who has been incarcerated
Technocratic synergy that evolved to be automated
Enigmatic creativity which is overtly animated
Charismatic sensibilities that are recognised and celebrated

Amazing grace just pouring down from a twighlight sky
Stargazing at space as the question of origin comes out as a “why”?
A blazing face hot in disgrace about to suddenly die
While the grazing poor are dressed in broken lace and caught up in a politicians lie

Miscommunication at the place of education while the illiterate learn to read
Defamation of the current administration as the population articulates what it needs
Condemnation of the newest correlation that is necessary to feed
Exclamation of fascination as the people refuse to pay heed

I can see this microscopic look of fear inside your eyes
If it weren’t so clear I would tell you that there is no need to hide
But I can only add that your feelings are always justified
There’s a place for you among it all that you can always reside

Sanctuary at the latest state to take a stand
Extraordinary instances as I extend my shaking hand
Diversionary distances that remove the people from their land
Luminary images that allow the vision to remain grand

Group of 26 Various Haikus

Night time yet again /starlight swallowed by black-hoes /Never to reach earth

Monster under bed /Darkness engulfing my heart /Flashlight in closet

Broken down body /Pieces still falling apart /Trying to survive

Needed violence /Craving others' destruction /A bloody green-world

Another world waits /To be drastically changed /For better or for worst

Take away my soul /A Genni in a bottle /Waiting for my hell

Follow me right now /into the heart of her dream /To understand pain

What is my purpose /If no one recognizes /Who I truly am

Where do I go from /A path lost in time and space /Path through destruction

Do you give a damn /That people fall through the cracks /Life and sanity

Where is your passion? /To afraid to make a change /Life requires life

Wish upon a star /It falls from the black heavens /Death for a lost soul

Power to control /How the world spins around us /Orbiting people

Future behind us /Broken possibilities /Wondering what if

what inspires dreams / To quickly flee from our minds / Do they shape the soul?

Do you know yourself? / Understand your heart and soul / Or did you give up?

My wondering thoughts/ foot steps past our minds limits/ into a new world

Waiting for time's change / scared of what I will find there /What will be taken?

Looking for details/ What secrets will they reveal?/ Our humanity

He gave memories/ Remembering as her own/ Truth lost inside time

Questions Propagate / What's inside Pandora's box / All of his secrets

Apple falls from tree / Down the rabbit hole it rolls / Mad Hater picks up

Depression soaks in / Into my thoughts and body / Draining who I am

Stress stretches my soul / Rubber band about to break / Crashing into life

Life flipped upside down/ World falling into pieces/ Some forever lost

How many lost dreams/ Are never fulfilled in life/ That could of been real?

Where do I go now?/ Options retreating from me/ Left with destruction

Various Stages of My Litereary Intresests

Passed through a period
of reading sports novels
Passed through a Dreiser, Farrell, Malamud, Baldwin
period
I am great at dropping names, aren't I ?
I've read a lot of poetry and have published a number of chapbooks
Once I had 13 poems in a civil rights magazine
Then I passe through a Tolkien period
and published fan - fic
and Tolkienesque poetry
After that I returned to Planet earth
and read "The Rise of David Levinsky" and other novels about the Lower East Side
I sometimes attend a New Age shul
WHERE THEY READ A POEM AT EVERY SERVICE.
poetry won't pay the bills
but it is a good way to socialize
And it often speaks to the heart
It's not everyone's cup of tea
Speaking of that
the Kettle is boiling and
I'll soon have another cup
and read the Book Review section
I had two odes published in the New York Times
last year
Boasting can be fun!
Especially if you are not wealthy
like the majority of the world's poets
and chess players

Soaring Amidst Song

sudden chance meeting
of a cheetah and monkey
then green treetop flight

Happenstance

zebra on the plain
rain ended, here is the sun
and rainbow's hued stripes

Scent and Sound

drones from the stillness
ribbits from cool green river
blue iris breezes

can be seen above water
gliding stealthy, slow

Various Victories

Thousands martyred
    in
wars
    which continue to
plague mankind
   Thousands - sometimes millions
Do you really believe you
can stop that with your poems?
All poets out there
   in the darkness
 I don't believe you can
As much as I like poems
I don't think they will "save the world"
Yet there is always the chance
your worlds will reach the eyes
of a political leader
HE(or she) may be moved to action
 for the sake of peace

Various Degrees of Happiness

Some may find me annoying
As my eyes open to the day with a smile
Some may think I'm faking
When I'm laughing as the rain drizzles around

For years the smile
Slapped from my face
My laughter punished
From an illogical belief
That my smile maybe laughing at him

As for years I dwelled
On all that shouldn't have been
A friend once said to the rain inside
No body wants a dark cloud

So every day
I blow the clouds away
And the days I cannot breath another blow
I crawl into somewhere no one goes

From every smile
Another grows
From every grin
I mend within
From every time I laugh
I grow with life's love

And just here and there
When what I can't bear
Gets a little bit too much
I give my happiness a rest
Letting my smile
Sleep for a while

Rain - Followed By Various Emotions

Rain...........
For some its a blessing, For some it comes like a curse...
Some enjoy it, And some get burst...
I too belong to the Enjoying party,
 And make myself sparky...
There are times when my day becomes hard,
Then it rains which makes me calm...
The most I love is the petrichor in the rain,
And brings my childhood memories again...
Children play in the rain different different games,
Seeing them, adults also feel like going out breaking the pane...
I used to make boats to float in the rainwater,
Now I have grown up & ended writing with a blotter...
When I listen to the sound of rain doing pitter-patter,
I generally forget all the bitter matters...
Life will always be full of twists & turns,
Rain don't come daily but when comes heal the burns...
There's is a saying that some feels the rain and some just get wet...
I too sometimes love the rain and sometimes the sunsets...

"Life after fifty is nifty"
There's much to see and do
Adult children are delightful
Some hobbies to pursue

Each year lived grows more precious
Aware of each year a gift
There is beauty unseen waiting
To give the soul a lift

Dawn feeds the spirit's deep longings
To reach out and commune
In quiet solitude nature
Sings morn's wake up tune

Life after sixty grows harder
Aches and pains touch most days
Treasure each second spent sharing
Love in various ways

Many and Various

Many and Various

In life, positions may be many and various;
If a politician probably, presume precarious;
Clothes pin;
Pretty thin,
Started using while playing my Stradivarius.

Humanity Uppn the Falling

Humanity Upon the Falling

Catastrophic predictions for humanities future
Another universal wound that needs an international suture
A forced appropriation into sacred laws and culture
A non linear approach to living by an exhibitionist social vulture

Wondering through the alleyways of regret, loss and fear
Meandering through a lonely day I’d prefer to forget through all the tears
Pandering to an overt display of the signs of decay formed over the years
Gandering at an intelligent play of counteroffensives that draw the enemy near

Culminations of interstellar events that illuminate the sky
Promulgations of technology filled with cement as they play with concept and design
Insubordination at the elements of counterfeit disguise
Unco-ordination of the prevalent response to human rights upon demise

Distinct notions of postulations on beauty and manifestation
The precinct motions for consultations while refuting the observations
As instinctual devotions summon the sun, sky and oceans while computing the conversations
And intrinsic commotions of the expression of emotions form while convoluting their invocations

Exploitation of a man’s political ideals
Importations of a lands empirical repeals
Considerations as he stands for unequivocal honesty in what he reveals
Commiserations as she commands her right to inadmissible evidence in the face of extremist zeal

Fortitude when considering the future of the human race
A child exudes the embodiment of heavenly dispensations of grace
A mild interlude of admonishment as they misinterpret the expression on your face
A wild vicissitude of capital punishment that needs legislation to replace

Fine tunes of personal exaltation as radiance falls from the distant sun
High moods of verse and imitation as recompense overshadows all the fun
Shy exudes of terse limitations as malcontents mellow out the place of number one
Why be so rude to visitations as many circumvent homeostasis as the humans discharge their guns

The End

Various Thoughts and Ideas

Wife has become almost a total invalid from her painful knees.
Fixed her Cream of Wheat, this morning, grilled cheese sandwiches,
last night, bologna sandwich for lunch with tater tots.
Meantime I was outside cleaning up yard and planting flower seeds.
Andrea had so many great ideas, thoughts and suggestions as usual.
I was repeatedly supporting Hillary and others were for Trump.
I kept my mouth shut and now we are suffering their own consequences.
It is embarrassing having Trump represent America.
Now some more people are leaving his staff.
Where will this Mueller investigation end up at?
Kelly Ann has broken the Hatch Act. I worked for the Federal Service for 25 years and never violated the Hatch Act. Why should she be allowed to get away with it?
Seychelles Island Meeting and other secret meetings are really making me wonder. Foreign investment into American political matters is
illegal. Why is Trump being allowed to get away with it along with affairs and golden showers.?

Various Things

The lamb cried
The egg fried
The man worked
A woman smirked

The leaf fell
The merchant will sell
The lady cooked
The trembling girl shook
The bird.squawked
A woman walked

A dog barked
A car parked
A tired shopper
A long skirt is proper

The wind whistled
The bell indicated dismissal
The sun shone in the midst of winter
A boy cried because of a splinter
