My Turn To Cry

I’ve distanced myself
I didn’t mean to
Didn’t set out to do it
An unconscious act of the mind
For self preservation

My visits went to once a week
Sunday dinners that once lasted for hours
Became shorter and shorter
Until now its get in
Get it cooked
Clean it up
Visit
And we’re out

Occasionally circumstances would
Happen and one would be missed
Oh well I’ll go during the week
Sometimes I did
Sometimes I didn’t
Today my heart cried to be near you

I entered the home and immediately
Settled my mood into the atmosphere
Funeral home-esque for lack of a better description
I speak in hushed tones
Slow my movements
And quiet my spirit

You want something
Oh thank you give me a job
What do you need???? Anything
I’ll gladly do anything

So many things hurt you now
You who were so tough reduced to such pain
Questions, answers, questions, answers
Over and over and over
This is the part I know
I’ve practiced this so many times before

You speak and in mid sentence you cry
Have I seen my sister,,you can’t remember
Ever seeing my sister, have you seen her
Yes mom remember mom
My answers are calm
Almost rehearsed
Repeated
Sterile

You look searching in my eyes
Yours, sunken, confused,
Pained, with a depth of sadness
I haven’t seen before
I look away.

I meet all the needs you’ve asked of me
I pat you, hug you, pray with you
I look at my brother, the saint
He’s tired, worn, sad

I leave, I’m OUT
I drive
How’d I get here
How long have I been driving
The sky so desperately gray
Muted tones of nothingness
The air feels so heavy
Like a shroud encompassing me
Choking me

The river runs beside me
It rages from the wind
There’s no stopping its power
It’s dark and gloomy and brown
And suits my mood

I try to pray
HOW DO I PRAY
Do I pray for healing,
Health, life, death
Joy, maybe peace

I cry out to you
I DON’T KNOW HOW TO PRAY
I look to the sky and see
The smallest spot of the most beautiful sapphire blue
In a sea of nothing
And I cry

Premium Member My Soul, You Need To Turn To God

My backslidden soul*, you were converted by GOD’s Word
As shown by your divine growth and testimony ’s record,
But you departed away from that great spiritual cord
Broken by worldly financial and material sword.
Turn to God Who rescues by His grace He can afford!

My prodigal soul, you were so blessed greatly
As the Lord provided for you tremendously,
But you neglected sound principles biblically
That caused your moral downfall fatally.
Turn to God Who can restore you fully!

My wayward soul, you were known to be Christ-honoring
As evidenced by your heavenly walk and divine bearing,
But you embraced humanistic doctrines so devouring,
Making you proud, yet continuing in miserable erring.
Turn to God Who can transform you be God-fearing!

My discouraged soul, you were before an example of zealousness
As seen in your conviction for godly standards and uprightness,
But you despised God’s presence and defied His holiness
While taking for granted prayer and Bible’s effectiveness.
Turn to God Who can bring you to His righteousness!

My unfaithful soul, you were then fulfilling the Great Commission
As proven by your mission-minded pursuits, filled with compassion,
But you failed to stay in the ancient landmarks of faith’s action
By compromising with secularism and liberalism’s motion.
Turn to God Who can plant you on His firm foundation!

My wavering soul, you were a guide to them who found real freedom
As told by those who owe to Christ thru you what they’ve become,
But you forgot the real source of genuine authority and wisdom
When you abandoned the only Way to heavenly kingdom. Turn to God Who invites that to Him you humbly come!

My dear soul, you surely need God with His forgiveness and guidance
As He alone can surely lift you up from your critical imbalance,
Beg on Him to uphold you on His church’s scriptural stance
And to behold you with His loving care by His divine glance.
Turn to God Who can pull you for revival’s sustenance!

*Psalm 6:4 Return, O LORD, deliver my soul: oh save me for thy mercies' sake.

Premium Member I Turn To Tinsel

My days are short and nights too long,
I walk on moonbeam, dream of you,
nightrider, to sky I belong.
My days are short and nights too long,
in stardust I sing luring song,
reach you through the night’s silver hue.
My days are short and nights too long,
I walk on moonbeam, dream of you.

My days are short and nights too long,
nightrider, to sky I belong,
in stardust I sing luring song.
I walk on moonbeam, dream of you,
reach you through the night’s silver hue.
I turn to tinsel, you’ve no clue.

Premium Member Your Turn To Answer

On the spot it came to me
The poem about 'What's Next'

Now I sit and ponder
And feel quite perplexed

I even had to use my machine
To look up the word perplexed

And of course you know the next line will be
And So 'What's Next'

Miners Turn To Face the Cold

The mass production of coal is dead,
Buried infer lamps carried on the head,
Halogen miners sang the unforgiving dirge,
With fragments of flaky particles emerge,
Drilling hammers that smote the ground,
Never again to hear its rumbling sound.
Voices roar like dragons in damp vapour,
Highlighted the dangerous drudgery caper.
Its miners turn to face the cold idle breeze
Lusty diggers of cave brought to their knees.
Dust off running tears in nocturnal eyes
Sparkled pay in dissonant redundancies.
Tipping poison pouring out of their coat,
Coals brightly burn diamonds in the heat.
Hem and skirt tossed away in good wave,
The blockade collapsing stairs of the brave.
Sad hearts dramatically ending the way of life,
Kiss the face pioneers abandon with cheek.
Dirty power of bygone industrial revolution,
The demise ends centuries of veiled tradition.
Looks that is lost on the cloudy grey glare,
Tunnels bearing signature of the slender tear.
Tattoo rippled down on jagged wall mirrors,
Romantic fires to stare at the mantle towers.
Underground roads in loops of fuel suspended,
Prison row of tombs lay silently on the cold bed.
Rock fractals calling from cold depth of earth,
Snuffed out the foggy union in oblivious wrath.
Dripping tar brooms lay on the dormant floor,
Once supplied daily ration meals for the poor.
Now the pit is shut leaving the empty trucks,
Pulling the souvenirs bearing burden buckets.
Into the nostril part of murky breath exhale,
Indifference steps crystallised among the stubble.
Can we face climate change of clean living?
In the beautiful candescent global warming.

Turn To Crist

Having said that
for all of us, dear friends,
not left any other way at all
going to the worth life and prosperity
except turn to Crist
who just partly known for some of us as a prophet Isa
completely shadowed by Lenin, Marks and Muhammad.

All other way
as you clearly see
degraded, downgraded,
run out, vanishing
or dying in empty air,
dear brethren, close one and relates.

Believe me, please,
albeit I am not prophet and strong lieder,
I just tell you as honest man
who lived with you in country and region
that survived in short time several revolutions
and innumerous plots, famines, calamities, civil wars
and others fatal experiments
under the ruling of our brainless governors and corruptive, cursed advisers.

I am just not want left you
you children and grandchildren
for another decades and tragic long circle
of multiplying and growing
disasters, slandering and gloomy perspectives
with Ortodocs Russian churches
and Russian neoimperializm
or with Islamic fanatics
or Chinese market communism,
flourishing and looks promising now,
even the West Catholicism and Protestantism
and Anglican church
do not preferable and helpfull now,
the same a free market economy and ideology
on the base of US modern democracy
with giant corporations of greedy richest person
leading world from one crisis to another
cannot been worshiped by us,
even the best example of Swiss, Denmark, Singapore
and other small prosperity countries
could not inspire and attract us anymore.

Only turning to eternal Truth and values
and keeping the highest moral Code,
precepts and commandments
prescribed for us and every one
by the holy olders from Bible -
love to neighbor and love to God
and Crist,s readiness for sacrifice our private life
for others benefits
would help us find out and see
the far light in the channel of darkness -
only way going our nation and country
toward save and prosperity
and God’s blessing status and standarts.

I Turn To You Today

Dear Lord
I turn to you today
to take all theese emotions and feelings away
I have liked a guy for sometime
and thought in your time all things would be fine
he still is huming and haring
and is still unsure what to do
so Lord I turn it all over to you
I carnt keep going on like this one minute hes talking to me
then he is not
it's time to move on and time for this guy I forgot
I know you asked me to wait a while
but it is dragging me down and taking away my smile
I have tried to be a good friend and always have been there
but is still as if he just does not care
I carn't stay in this situation there is nothing left I can do
but Dear Lord
I turn it all over to you
I will focous on what lies ahead
and focous all my love and energys on you instead
I Love you Lord with all my heart and there is no doubt
I know this guy I can live without
you are first in my heart Lord now and ever
you love me always and will leave me never
so hear my plea as I pray
I am sory Lord but from this situation i now have to walk away Amen

Heel Turn To Wave

Sun sprites fill my eyes
crystal brilliance synchronize
all my thoughts in Southern skies
sugar tasting wind~

Nerves of needle nights
condescend the Northern lights
as I turn to say good-bye
and make my way to him...

Its My Turn To Use the Written Word

Being born in the postwar fifties,
after darkness and catastrophe
ascended on all Europe,
I didn't experience cruelty and horror...
but hope came from the defenders of freedom
from North America and England;
and their military supremacy crushed
Hitler's vanity and his inhumane empire!
I was given birth by a courageous mother,
who saw bombs drop on buildings,
and escaped to the countryside with a few belongings...
dragging grandmother to safety!

Fear was everywhere...people had to hide,
and liberty was a forbidden cry;
even in the Vatican City, and rumors...
if not facts, confirmed that some
were afraid to speak against this evil,
but continued to tremble,
and in doing so they let many die!
Wasn't God angry at their hypocrisy;
and if they had taken a stand against the evildoers...
wouldn't it spared many?

It's my turn to protest the evil
that destroyed the life of big and small
for their faith, religion and race;
those voices are still ignored,
but  they are finally heard;
their thirst for peace and justice
will be quickly quenched!
It's my turn to heal their wounds
with sweet and consoling words of kindness,
and alleviate their fears that what happened yesterday...
must not be repeated in our history;
and wil I be able to do this without facing controversy?
It's my turn to use the written word,
to outshine everyone whose interest is greed!

Nobody more than I
was saddened by this tragedy,
so powerful and overwhelming,
to promptly modify the traits of my personality;
to be more considerate and caring,
and partake in Humankind's destiny!
An Aquarius has many
distinguishing qualities
and talents, and I intend to use them wisely...
listening to their struggles
with much sympathy!

It's my turn to use the written word,
to declare war on the state of unfair things,
proceed with caution on flapping winds...
to land where I am welcomed,
and see every hand touching mine;
only when the their joy returns, I can certainly smile!

We Turn To Darkness

When tensions in the mind push splinters through our souls
And into strangers ears we pour our woes..
When grief and sorrow shudder thriough our walls.
And whether all is lost we cannot know

When what is in or out we cannot tell
When fantasy and dream become confused.
When spears of agony are felt to maim each cell.
When sensibility is utterly bemused.
.
He in whom we to trusted wills to fail
For what he said was love was mere desire.
Now pain and disappointment make us frail;
With torment know this lover was a liar.

Then, having lost all other means to live,
We turn to darkness where our consolation is.

Turn Away From Sin and Turn To Jehovah

The world is nearly as bad today as it was during the days of Noah.
People must turn away from their sinful ways and turn to Jehovah.
If people don't change, they won't live in paradise and that's not an exaggeration.
People must put an end to stealing, watching ****, doing drugs and fornication.
People must give up binge drinking and gambling because those are also sins.
If people don't change their ways, they won't live in paradise, they won't win.
People must stop killing, raping and committing other crimes.
People must change or they will be harshly judged when Jesus returns at the end of time.
Jehovah God is my master and my friend and he loves and cares about us.
But he won't let people live in paradise if they're people who he can't trust.

Premium Member Two Drinks Turn To Gloom

A car ran
thru the city
so fast
without caution
that doom was point blank
the car spun
around
ground attack
flipping
on its back
hurling sparks
that lit a bomb off
throngs of victims at loss
a
villain drank too much

Premium Member When It's My Turn To Leave

What will you do when I leave you in kind,
Though you’re treasured like apples and boon to the mind...
How to handle the fading of dreams that we share?

Favorite chair that’s seems empty and sad,
Or a poem that vivified both mom and dad...
Think of dawns you awoke and discovered me there!

Can death be real or is it too a dream...
And does life always stay in the bed of its stream?
Might the future still have some new trick up its sleeve?

Love seems quite real though it cannot be seen...
Even winter plays role on a planet that’s green,
I’m expecting surprise when it’s my turn to leave.

Days Turn To Weeks

It started with a glance
But I had no clue
I'd end up liking you
The way I do

Like a rainy day
I'd love to stay
In your golden grace
Your nonobjective space
This warmth from your smile
Keeping me all this while
In awe that someone like you
Can be attracted to me too
Im just a freezing day
In the dark of a cave
Your that shining light
That makes everything right

Your cool and fun and cute
Your into what I'm into
What more could I ask for
Everything I want is in you

One Day the Bad Will Turn To the Good

One day the bad will turn to the good,

Reflex and apologize for whenever it stood

To all the crazy masses to prove that he was right,

Men scared to death, hearts turned stone cold in fright.

Argued he was stronger,

But the truth always prevailed.

He would be right in front of you

Bent down and ashamed.

That day I will come to you

and tell you, you were wrong.

That good always remains

The wisest and the Strong.
