Premium Member Story of My Life

Shattered and battered by the inequities of life
Dark nights hindered shrouding luminous skies
In a childhood that missed the thrill of playgrounds
And adulthood that ran a solo sprinter’s marathon,

Crossing continents on pedagogic visions of joy
When testimonials of knowledge bestowed wings to fly;

And there I landed far from where nothing was
And molded its shape into works of arts and crafts
From humble sketches outlined in the grains of sand—

In prairies of essence now a happy abode stands.

TIME

A.
Time exists in testimonials encased and framed.
Each singularity proud and erect standing beside
and supported by a lone consort.
When recalled and rendered within,
No pause is seen nor heard, except
when played in very slow motion.
From beginning to end we discern infinity
and see the process as one motion never completed.
In a blink of an eye, eternity exists.
The story gets told in the afterglow;
lingering as ripened fruit on an old tree.
Revealing time as ringed markers; remnants
of what was and will never be again.
A collection of the Creator's intent.

B.
A sweeper follows your every vector
locked in folds of a played out sector
As procreator, with no beginning and no end
that all before cannot amend.
Thy sly requiem nestled beneath the sun
appears to gloat in what's begun
as ancient rhyme created by design
and recorded in an eternal shrine.

 SYNOPSIS:

What is Time and Space?
Hard to describe in human terms.
When I think about life
from beginning to end,
it seems implausible to even
contemplate but like a fool,
I try.

Life's Battles

It's strange how God talks to us.
Sometimes in the wee hours of a sleepless night,
Sometimes a sweet voice appears in the background music of the vaccum cleaner.
Maybe while driving home from a tedious workday with the radio turned off.
Maybe awaken from sleep words pouring from your heart and soul that makes you
Jump out of bed and scramble for pen and paper.
I'm not the least surprised that the words jump out of me,
For God has talked to me many times in this manner.
You see, they all have a common denominator. Its when you tune out the
Distractions of your surroundings that God can talk to the innermost parts of your being.
He leaves your heart and soul in awe as your mind comes back to earth.
No, I'm not a bit surprised that he woke me from a deep sleep.
I pray for him to talk to me. He knows I need his inspiration. It's like bread and water
To sustain me from the hum-drum of everyday living.

I'm not a saint by any means, probably worse than the worse, lowest than the lowly.
God knows me and he loves me anyway. Maybe I disappoint him with my selfish, stubborn
And sinful ways, but he knows I love him and trust him in all things. Jesus is my
Redeemer and salvation. He walks by my side thru tragedy, he is my healer through
All my sicknesses. My faith is strengthened in him until my back feels it will
Break into. Oh, what a friend I have in Jesus. A young man once said,"We young people
need to hear from our older generation the experiences they have overcome in all
Situations." "We hunger for your testimonials to help us to know what to do when
We are faced with our own trials and tragedy's."
Maybe, when God speaks to us, even thru poetry, the real circumstances that we have faced
He is only giving us the gift of being able to see the blessings that come from tragedy to
Make our walk so much more easy.

Premium Member Joke Was On Him

Joke was on him

A lie can perpetuate with a blinding speed
Growing on the heels of shameful greed
If enough people believe a con-man's spiel
And blindly proceed to invest in a dubious deal.

He began quite small with his Ponzi scheme
Stomping ruthlessly on gullible citizen's dream
Pretending that he was investing in stock market
Delivering promised returns regularly on target.

Becoming famous as word of high returns spread
Billions he attracted as testimonials mislead,
Paying current clients from new-client receipts
Manipulating his records to hide his deceits.

Although his company was frequently audited
No one could detect the fraud being committed.
Suspicions ran high for returns were unbelievable,
Authorities were fooled by a fraud inconceivable.

Ponzi scheme thrives on constant new cash flow
As new funds meet outflows that continue to grow,
But it collapses in a hurry if new money stops
For clients demand refunds as the company flops.

A market-crash caused new money to dry out
Bringing to a quick end his fraudulent clout
As he confessed to a multibillion fraud scheme
When finally he realized that the joke was on him.

Investors big and small were caught by surprise
Lives that were ruined continue to agonize.
Soon he was arrested for his long tenure of crime
And sentenced to prison for his remaining lifetime.

His son committed suicide overcome by veracity
As his wife deflects shame in solitude of tenacity.
While he sits in jail for a crime of this century
Grievous losses torment lives due to his treachery.

A fraud only propagates till its ultimate demise
For truth always conquers defeating all lies.

Note: This Ponzi scheme was uncovered after the 2008 market crash. Though the fraudster never invested in the market, new money flow stopped because investors were spooked by the market decline and ensuing recession. He confessed when he couldn't make a multi-billion payment due in 2008. He was sentenced to 150 years in jail. One of his sons committed suicide, the other son died. His brother was also sentenced to jail--all worked for the firm.

From my scrambled mind brews quagmires of twaddle---
I try to assimilate wisdom with lyrics….
My mouth slags ‘lost’ for proficient words ---
And fall short when none come to note!

But so many vulnerable targets lay in ear shot---
'Truths' indiscriminately slung, do injure when worded….
Only an ‘embarrassment’ is to be my reward if done ….
Endless intakes of ‘mouthed’ disbelief become outtakes---
And are ‘rooted’ for ‘non-favours’ to testimonials given…?
I step back and think ‘thrice’ before I let my ‘wits'....
Blow and pass out ‘slurred’ scatterbrained thought!

The Newspaper Reader

While walking through the familiar road,
Connecting my commence and the destiny,
The road that took me to the humanity of knowledge,
Delight, opportunities and revealed mysteries,
My college, a bastion of courageous queens and the influential,
While I marched towards the terrain where women ruled the humankind,
I saw a man, with a jute bag in one hand and a newspaper in other,
In front of me, walking gradually, with watchful steps did he ensue,
He was reading the paper, engrossed in the news of the day
Under the vitamin D sun, tranquil zephyr and breezy lashes of the trees,
He went on, juxtaposed between his world and the actual world,
Carrying the jute bag, concerned less for his immediate environs,
Reading while on foot, he knew the best, for he did the same,
In front of me, walking by my same course,
And when unexpectedly he stopped, and turned left,
Nearing a series of shops and a bakery,
He passed all those and reached near a tiny shutter,
Opened the closure, and there it was,
He had reached his destiny of the day,
A miniature extent with liberty for hardly a person,
Stood a Xerox machine, cleaned and set,
And there he unearthed the board painted “Xerox” in yellow,
Hanged outside the petite room and sat on a crumbling stool,
And then he resumed into the globe he was so fascinated about,
The newspaper, crisp and hot, brimming with reports, gossips and testimonials,
He went on, conceded to the factual world around…….

Premium Member In Essiac I Trust

The tea I use was born in Canada.
Holistic doctors told me of its name.
This strange concoction does a lot of good
with curing cancer its main claim to fame.

A nurse and doctor took its formula
and bettered it. Of that, there is no doubt.
The herb most vital is its sheep sorrel,
but don’t buy brands that leave this herb’s roots out.

Eight herbs for health include blessed thistle and
red clover, watercress, and wondrous kelp,
slippery elm bark and there are two more
whose roots, like sheep sorrel’s, are a big help.

Ten minutes you must boil it. Later, put
it in the fridge; it settles like brown sludge.
You have to shake it up before each use.
That sludge does not taste anything like fudge!

Online, the testimonials of those
whose cancer has been cured is not a few.
And there are other things incredible
this tea named Essiac can do for you.

Destroyer of free radicals it is -
removing toxins, healing, helping pain.
It aids digestion, even strengthens bones
and nourishes and stimulates the brain.

The list of all it does goes on and on.
So many illnesses this tea can fight.
I make enough to last for two week’s time
and drink three ounces morning, noon and night.

It’s bitter but not horrible; I’ve made
this tea my daily habit because I
am at high risk for cancer, so my friend,
in Essiac I'll trust until I die.

NOTE: I will put info above for anyone interested in checking out this tea. Also,
I can put you in touch with people who can vouch for it. This tea was nearly made a national cure for cancer in Canada (back in the 70's) until it got shot down in their congress by the pharmaceuticals (surely we cannot go against THOSE guys!) Of course, nothing is fool proof, and they do not claim to cure all cancers all of the time; however, I intend to use this tea for prevention's sake for as long as I can afford it, which will hopefully be for a long time. Tick Toc

Tick tock, tick tock, tick, time ticks tirelessly, tick.
Tricking trance’ers, testing too.
Touching tenderly, thoughts, tick.
Takes time to think, take time, tick.
Try to transcend to the tested table tops.
Tinker, tickle, take the time-tested transitions,
Transcribed testimonials, tear touched, the trials,
Tribulations, telling tales, traditions, trepidations.
Treacherous, the track, turns to terror, tripping traps,
Taking time, the torture, the terseness,
The time taken, time the teacher, taunting.
Takes time to think, to thwart this teasing
Time taker, tick-tocking, tick-tocking.
Troubling, twisting thoughts that truth testified,
Tangible the ticker, to touch, to trash, tick tock,
Tick toc… trashed!

God Blessing After the Storm

Every needle
Every stick
Every catheter
Every surgery

Watching my blood
For three hours
Run through a machine
Monday, Wednesday, Friday
It was my job 5am
3 hours

6 years experience
On my life resume
I have scars to show
Long memories
Never leave my mind

Testimonials to tell the masses
Giving up
Got tired
But on the wee hours
On April 14, 2009
Unexpected phone called

Life changing
I heard those sweets words
You are a match
Get to the hospital
You're getting a kidney transplant
I knew my God
Have a strong purpose
To be fulfilled

My Uncanny Utopia

Spinning like a wagon wheel in the dust
Swinging like a kid on a park swing…these wild days…
Beginning to lose touch, turning to rust
Like an old bicycle, left in the rain in its watery rays…

Reaching out to you in the darkest times of day
I’m ready to move on and say what I need to say
Speaking with slight softness in my trembling voice…
I will not be silent right now and that is my final choice

Shine on me, you mesmerizing moonlight
Look out for me, endless stars at midnight
The riveting waters below won’t ever drown my wish to fly…
The forest floors rest on my two feet – still left with no reply!

It seems that never-ending sorrow doesn’t leave
There’s always another tomorrow, so don’t grieve
Don’t let uncertainty and worry sink in too deep in your mind
Instead, have a heart to realize that you are an exceptional kind

There’s always a chance to change for the greater better
So, pull up the sleeves of my sweater and be a go-getter
Let the time of our lives begin to unwind in every waking moment again and again
Do you remember the times we splashed in the mud like carefree children?

Swaying back and forth like the branches of weeping willow trees
Singing like a lark in the murky woods, so misunderstood and uncanny in other peoples’ eyes…
Beginning to lose grip of reality, realizing that I’m finally at ease
I’m like a dreamlike dragonfly, exceedingly airborne through the pasture of precious paradise

Forever reaching out to you in the brightest times of night
I’m ready to go forward and listen to you so intently
I am in need of the nourishment of the Holy Spirit alright
I will not be discouraged by the feelings of triviality

Let the clouds in the sky depart for the arrival of tranquil miracles
I wait on Christ’s return to bring me back to life in its superb entirety
The universe of utopia above will grant you endurable testimonials
The ambitious atmosphere percolates our inner souls, stirring with vitality

Present Day Snake Oil Salesmen

Present-Day Snake Oil Salesmen

By Elton Camp

In the past, hucksters came, patent medicine to sell
“It will cure all human ills,” is what they would yell
“While supplies last, only a dollar a bottle,” the call
“It’ll cure cancer, rheumatism, dropsy—one and all.”

Now all kinds of quack remedies we can easily get
They are brought into our homes through the Internet
“Doctors don’t want you to know about it,” they claim
But throughout history, sick folks have heard the same

That there is a conspiracy to suppress this they will say
Because the greedy doctors want things done their way
Glowing testimonials from users they proudly present
“I was sick, took this cure, and away my troubles went.”

Self-limiting conditions always fuel the quack’s success
Improvement after using the “cure,” the gullible impress
Many symptoms resolve without any treatment at all
So that the snake-oil, a miracle the sufferer will call

Also, the severity of most symptoms will come and go
But it’s the “miracle cure” that supposedly made it so
Can anyone think effective treatment a doc would hide
And so deprive himself of cure and his family beside?

If there was some natural stuff that would cure disease
Then there would be untold doctors that it would please
The next time e-mail with extravagant claims you meet
Do yourself a big favor by simply punching up “Delete”

Premium Member What Is Love Made Of

Under the skies of love
Quizzically forever stretched to thin
One question of many in life
What is love made of
Through all EMOTIONS testimonials

And commotions PS an after thought
Of NOTIONS this love ideal must be
Nurtured above all else
Lovely intimate one how much
Should I love you, then if love is not enough

What is love made of?
Life in love, love in life
This maddening discussion I will
Travel the world to uncover the cues
Throw caution to the wind

Ignore all warnings calling
For your attention.
Then what is love?
A fair beauty of gentle features
Love in dreams love supreme

Ma amour ma petite Cherie
Just a simple love comment
My love, my sweet heart
Talk about it
A delicate kiss on the lips

If it weren't for love conspiring
I would have your heart especially desiring
Can we make enough love when silence
Says not to speak
A most provocative muse

What is love made of?
This was once an Epiphany
Which have gnawed at me most
Of my thoughtful life
My darling my dear

I want you to know you deserve
Yes sweetness no surprises no maybes
What then retro love protocol

My darling love
Mon petite Cherie.
Mon Cherie amour
My love my love
Softly talking on the phone
Giving roses and all the above
Love and love alone and

Every spring that's blooming
A sweet SUMMER BREEZE
IN HER ARMS. CONSUMES ME

Jeopardisation lies in pies lined with oil. And carrots plus potatoes equals lettuce. Pointing placing planting planning potency pot. Potentiometric symbols of a shrine.
