Beneath the illumination of the elliptical moon,
Within the cove of diamond bay, waves gently sway
Back and forth, under the oceans clarity of the big blue,
As the surfs foam and spray roll against the white sandy
Beaches beyond.
Hush the breeze whispers to the gulls above, hush, hush now,
Be still, for soon they will come, but these chatter snappers.
Refuse to yield in their battering’s scrawling, until the ocean
Itself-lashes out at them to be quiet.
In the silence of the timeless, in the paused hush of the
Aquatic wilderness, something stirs.
Behold the leaping lords of the blue abyss,
Breaching upwards, as if to tenderly kiss the moon above,
Thanking it for another day of life, to live wild and free,
Beneath the waves of infinity, of the big blue.
Dancers on fins of grace, seemingly toe stepping on the
Waves in a delicate balance, just for a second of brilliance
Display, while others incline in a somersault acrobatic
Air assault, to pay homages respect to the magnificent
Ocean for its eternal beauty, and salvation's refuge.
These gray phantoms of the divine ethereal realm,
Born with purity’s heart of innocence, true creatures
Of light and love, shine in the diamond star dust of twilight.
Birthed within the quaking wake of the lords divining hands,
At the moments his voice rose, in the beginning of time itself,
Dividing the light from the darkness, the dolphin took its first
Air breath of life, and the Lord Almighty,
Smiled down upon his aquatic creation with warmth and love.
Perfections free falling divers, enchanting the human heart
With their graceful swiftness, stealth and intelligence.
The sailor’s guardians at sea, these vigilant sentinels of the
Briny depth, follows the surging storms hailing, and await
To assist in the deist hour of humanities greatest need.
Within their loving pod, the young are nurtured by devotions
Breasts of giving, no tender a mother can ever be found
Then she the dolphin, born from the grace of God himself.
In the silence of the timeless, in the paused hush of the
Aquatic wilderness, something stirs beneath the waves
Of clarity.
Behold the leaping lords of the blue abyss,
Breaching upwards, as if to tenderly kiss the moon above,
Thanking it for another day of life, to live wild and free,
Beneath the waves of infinity, of the big blue.

Lord what I'd give to go back in time.
Meet historical legends Wyatt Earp,
Or Jessie James, let them leap off
The written page, and live again.
Rough riders, shooting the colt 45,
Learning swiftness by the draw.
Badges brethren, gather up,
The madman’s posse,
Gun powders equalizers,
 In there bloody hands.
Wanted men, flee to,
 Parts unknown,
Horse thieves, and
Cattle rustlers,
Trying to evade the long,
 Arm of the law.
 Fate decides whom lives,
 And dies.
It makes no difference,
 Innocent or guilty.
After all it is life’s truest rule,
An eye for an eye, blood shed,
To give the devil his vengeance,
Behold survival of fittest,
Heavens gates, are made from,
Twisted metal.
The hangman's tree stands ready,
Hollow nooses swing in,
 Destiny’s winds,
To bid found ado unto evil men.
Strong limbs bare heavy weight,
A scaled balance of ropes,
 Tenuous strength.
Blind lady liberty turns,
 Her gaze away.
At histories hesitation towards,
Real justice's justification.
Hard men ride ahead,
Leaving behind
Legends tin stars,
Amongst trail dust,
Remnants.
Behold the old west breath's,
 Again,
Between books binding,
And words harsh black ink.
Hardened steel vs. freedoms,
 Expansion.

' He's Company ... '

‘ He’s Company ! … ’

He’s Not Down With Misery
and Not Out with The In(flated)-Crowds
But He’s Up On Lady Liberty …
Laughing, New York-Minute, Out Loud !

‘Cause … if Misery, Loves Company …
Company, Sure Don’t Love Misery !
Company … is Taking Care of Business
Strictly, Take into Account, Swiftness

… and Staying Out The Red
Things, Misery Cut and Bled
All Over His Spread-Sheets
Which, He Washed and Hung On Wall Street

Now… Here’s Her Penny for Your Thoughts Again …
Saying, ‘Get Me Out of This Rain-Check, Claim !
Man … She’s A Bottom-Line – Pain !
Boy, Throw Her Some Chunk-Change …

His Blank Check, is What Misery’s After
But, Company is The Man, and ‘ The Manager ‘
He’s Telling Misery, with Interest …
‘ … Girl, Stay Outta’ My Business !

… and I May Pay Misery A Visit …
‘Cause I’m Lady Liberty … Unlimited !
I’m Platinum, and I Got My Hand Up …
‘ Don’t Make Me Put It Down and Whip Your, You Know What !

‘Cause Company … Gets The Job Done !
Show Them How It’s Done … Hon !
Look … You Know You Got Lady Liberty
( and, I’m gonna Keep This Fortune 500 Company )

Ireti

i dip my pen into the ocean of helpless
fluids searching for hopeful cravings
and my blood has rippled in a thousand torrents of expectations...

but do you know that my lungs has torn, shattered and broken on pieced streets and pierced boulevards?

know that i need need not be merged together for i am a victim, curdled on the back of expectations...

you are the lost garment i search for in the holes of a torn garment, do you know how your thoughts reverberates in the hall of my mind ?

ireti, what is the spirit that dwells in you?
tell me your backbone and its custodian..

you break the rocking of my bone and paralyse the swiftness it curdles and wait..you turn my head down on the tongues of hard rocks...

ireti..i am broken

see me emerse my thoughts in the flowing waters of wisdom our fathers hold
and i hold myself with twines of hope weaved by tender tailors with soft hands behind the hopeless garments of expectations...

i am broken...not beyond repair
for i am a victim curdled on the backs of expectations

Infinite days still linger
in country lane of heavenly delight,
where we tasted the freshness of life
or was it all, just a game?
It seemed so perfect there
before infancy taken
alas to masquerade in a strange world
a culture godforsaken.
Yet! One can hope the carousel
of a diligent life still spinning
will respect the eternal gradient
then stop at the beginning.
I search to find the evidence
of what once was ours,
but like the swiftness of the stream
the simplicity fades with the hours.
I’ve strived but failed to turn back the tide
submitted to life’s precarious frame,
yet when I close my weary eyes
to me you’re just the same.

Darkness

Darkness falls all around thee
All around me the midnight comes
Rolling in with swiftness and greed
Consuming me completely and to the fullest
I welcome the cold and silence
Inside I toss and turn
Burning, yearning,withering
I find peace in the darkness
Darkness finds peace in me

Premium Member Born For This

I’m born a stream with winter’s thaw.
On swiftness from steep slopes I draw.
Beneath the sun, I gather steam.
With winter’s thaw, I’m born a stream.

I warmer grow as on I run.
I gather steam beneath the sun.
With river kin I’ll likely flow.
As on I run, I warmer grow.

I may grow wide; I may grow thin.
I’ll likely flow with river kin.
Bound for the south, I onward glide.
I may grow thin; I may grow wide.

A frothy kiss I’ll give sea’s mouth.
I onward glide, bound for the south
to oneness – I was born for this:
I’ll give sea’s mouth a frothy kiss.

Premium Member Embracing Autumn

The smell of an early fall,
the swiftness of the breeze
sweet is the gentle call
singing through the trees.

Leafs falling on the land,
the colors are all a new
orange in its autumn dress
and even yellow too.

Wrap yourself in a cozy scarf,
cuddle or read a book
pick the perfect pumpkin out
give the world another look.

Rebirth of all its beauty,
embracing All Hallows Eve
giving in to all the wonder
that most choose not to believe.

For it only lasts a short while,
it's my favorite time of all
if I could have it every day
every season would be fall.

A Firefighter One Might See

A little girl I stand, awakened early morning hour.
The sound of shuffles preparing, for coffee one will scour.

Muffled voice all too familiar, for only one it could be.
Dads words saying, “I Love You”, In the next morning I will see.

Pulling out of the drive-way, swiftness to the curtains I will peek.
Thinking about the big firetruck, heartbroken without me, fire he will seek.

Chin up my duty calls me, I drag the hose from tree to tree.
Mr. Owl followed by a quarter, responsibility instilled in me.

By evenings long awaited dusk, another dinner without dad.
We pray with mom at bedside, safe returning to be had.

Memories of impromptu visits, our other family at the station.
Popcorn, chocolate bars and hugs, dads work, a childs’ vacation.

Fond memories growing up, of all the family time we spent.
Cabin, lake and camping, Flashlight tag to no relent.

No matter our scheduled travels, no hesitations to stop and help.
Morally guided passion, his genuine attributes not found on yelp.

Uncompensated care given, unescaped these childs’ eyes, not to be unseen.
My future I learn to follow, entirely he cares for every human being.

Waves of fear come and go, a firefighter I’m reminded.
Hearing tragic unfortunate news, unsightly loss, for I am blinded.

Thirty-seven this year his daughter, any trouble called upon he’s sure to be.
A guardian angel on my horizon, A firefighter one might see.

Nebuchadnezzar the King of Babylon

Nebuchadnezzar his royal highness
Engulfed by the abundance of his sight,
Once mused himself to the madness
Which arose from the pride of his heart:
"Is this not the great Babylon kingdom
Built by the swiftness of my might?
The kingdom that seizes the freedom
Of whatsoever nation it chooses to fight!
Whosoever it deems me fit to spare,
What shall make him not see the night?
And whosoever's life to spare I less care,
How could he escape my fury's fright?
O great Babylon the city of valour
Whose majesty of no precarious flight,
Remains at its best an epitome of honour
To the insatiable view of my delight!"

But while the utterances of his folly
Reeled from the abundance of his pride,
The Ancient of Days—Lord Most Holy—
Could not afford Himself of glory deprived;
Therefore He (God) had to prove to him
That all on which his pride such relied,
Were conquests which in his wildest dream
Couldn't have been, however all he tried.
For only He (God) to whoever He wills,
Has that power and discretion to decide
Who is he who dies, and who is he who lives
—Even the fate of all that crawl and glide!
These He does that no flesh may share
In the glory which in Him alone should abide;
Even that no lifeless god may least bear
A glory with which it was never designed.

And so to him a Voice at the instant came
That in his next seven years to be spent,
He would be devoid of same feat and fame
By which he became so proud and impudent:
That he may know that only The Most High
Has the ultimate power at every moment,
To deliver into a king's hands who should die
At any imaginable or unprecedented event.
Alas, a pathetic judgement was passed
(Which turned him a beast for a torment);
Oh, the disgraced king on the fields housed,
Far from the comfort of his majestic tent!
But the repented king (whose new birth
occured after the years of his punishment),
Praised the God of the heavens and earth
For such a great opportunity to repent.

"King Nebuchadnezzar is really worthy of emulation for his recompense
of heart...But most especially, for his repentance from pride and folly!"

Lonely Bird

It’s time now to leave my lovely, lonely bird
Bravely soar, your sad songs should be heard
Born in the hail of a horrific hurricane
Harboring hallowed cries of hidden pain

Shear feathers shimmer, glimmering so soft
Embracing grace as you gently glide aloft
Your song as you soar becomes spirited and sweet
Divine, not weak or deafened with barbed defeat

Swiftness swells as you spread your strong wings
Time now to travel and embrace foreign things
Mesmerized with water’s mirrored reflection
Your shimmering image greets you with affection

Flying freely, your heartbeat grows fierce
Realizing the reality your spirit’s not pierced
Tiny winged warrior wakens deep depths of fire
Knowing now nothing can quell your desire

You, little bird, are stronger than you know
Surviving the storm somehow made you grow
Fear is not frightening for friend is the unknown
You know by yourself now you’ll never be alone.

Fight Club

De'ron " The Cron" Issacs,
In the best shape of his career,
ripped, the world champion,
through adversity he'd persevere.
Never tasting defeat,
king of the streets,
beating the opposition,
by the swiftness in his feet.
Contorted facial meat, bruising
body blow after body blow.
Weak knees ensue,
Darkness looms,
"Cron" chants boom
as he stands reputed.
A reign of terror,
De'Ron the undisputed

Some notable victories:

** Christain "The Holocaust" Frost:
K.O., 1:54 into the second round:
    Out matched, a bloody mess.
    Confused by DeRon's finesse.

** Kriss "The Kiss of Death" Seth:
K.O., .58 seconds into the first round.
Caught with a flying knee, surprised
by the move of his former ally.

** Reese "Satans Seed" Reed:
Submission, 3.24 into the fouth round.
Brutal ground and pound, a monster!!
Gave his back to be choked out.

** Byron "Iron Fisticuffs" Gruff
K.O., 2:10 into the second round.
Two broken ribs, he was revered.
    Disappeared, now lives recluse.

Einstein's Waves

Is space-time a fabric that stretches and strains,
like a grass harp ruffling across the great plains,
when the force of a huge body in motion
makes waves akin to the billowing ocean?

LIGO’s antennae have finally disclosed
those waves gravitational Einstein proposed
that travel along with the swiftness of light
and can’t be obstructed in their spatial flight.

A faint fleeting whoop is the sound that was heard,
resembling the chirp of a faraway bird.
So the Nobel winner, with brilliant foresight
a century past, was again proven right!

In Einstein encomium much overdue,
we praise and applaud what he already knew
from his relativity theory acclaimed,
that pillar of physics for which he is famed.

The presence of mass as a part of his theme
makes space and time curve, in that elegant scheme.
And this is indeed how gravity functions,
not as a force, but as cosmic conjunctions.

Two black holes colliding, a billion light-years
removed, gave a sign that brought triumphant cheers
from the LIGO team, with a soft rising tone
making Einstein’s ineffable notion known.

The project cost umpteen millions of dollars.
Astronomers seemed the leeriest scholars
and felt the investment would be a big waste,
not trusting the models on which it was based.

Miles of steel tubing in L-shaped position
of vacant chambers were used in the mission
for gauging expansions and fluctuations,
with an outcome exceeding expectations.

The breakthrough implies that stargazers can peer
not just with the eye but moreover may hear
stellar storms bending space and changing time’s flow
in colossal activities to and fro.

Yes ripples in space-time were validated,
as Einstein had long ago calculated.
Researchers gave credit to LIGO, although
he is probably saying, “I told you so!”

Award Winning Poem

Award winning poem crafted with precision,
From the finest word smith's concoction,
To capture the readers eye,
And move them to agree with I,

Every golden letter mellow to the core,
Molded to tell a tale untold before,
Veni vidi vici; so say I,
A pen and paper in hand till I die,

Swiftness in wordplay like a sparrow,
Able to set the mood right from happiness to sorrow,
Blowing the theme as wide as the clear blue sky,
Not forgetting stylistic devices to make the poem fly,

A poem that will stand out for all ages,
As the king of modern day poetry outshining all written pages,
Bringing out soliloquy in a persona,
So sweet you wish not to end it sooner,
