Embracing Autumn
The smell of an early fall,
the swiftness of the breeze
sweet is the gentle call
singing through the trees.
Leafs falling on the land,
the colors are all a new
orange in its autumn dress
and even yellow too.
Wrap yourself in a cozy scarf,
cuddle or read a book
pick the perfect pumpkin out
give the world another look.
Rebirth of all its beauty,
embracing All Hallows Eve
giving in to all the wonder
that most choose not to believe.
For it only lasts a short while,
it's my favorite time of all
if I could have it every day
every season would be fall.
