Energy’s Suffocating Gallop
                                  by Odin Roark

Ancient blood soaked sand
Plumes its sticky residue
Beneath rapacious hooves

Dust storms of evil stampeding beside pipelines
Goad flow to tankers
Where ubiquitous black gold addiction
Steers toward pervasive profit-docks

Behind sweat lathered greed
Winds of historic baggage
Tether their historic words and song
Blessings and curses
Exciting swirling vortexes

Windmills of molten fire
Entitlement’s rape and pillage of breath
Of pores once absorbing purity
Evil’s global bubble
Appearing as mankind'

Robed in white zealotry
The blinded hawk-minds
Embrace the Middle East predatory contaminant
Wallowing in solipsistic riches forgotten
Awake only to pick tomorrow’s gluttonous prey

The world turns on turbine propulsion
With oceans bowing to its slavery
Delivering liquid smokestack suffocation
Silent killers preparing ghosts
Of time’s new-century-plague
Ignored

As oil gorged tankers find port
Release their pandemic sleight of hand
A destruction as innocent as rabbits from a hat
Charms the ignorant
Beguiles the wannabes

Wheeled transport
Delivers the demise of children’s hearts
Left to take a number
Unaware there is no lottery
Only loser-consciousness
Adult indulgence clinging desperately
To evil’s mane and tail
As it whips gullible eyes
Into cataract submission

Alien life hovers above
Grieving the minions destined
To find black energy’s ashen dust
Sprinkling its fool’s gold
Upon a barren planet

Suffocating

A suffocation
Poor poetry drowns me out
Most of it my own

Premium Member Suffocating a Gasp For Breath

My feet are stuck in the mire
I struggle but cannot free myself
As the mud gets higher and higher.

And the more I struggle and fight
The deeper I go
Down into the murky suffocating
Depths below.

The mud rises now rises up to my waist
I panic arms aloft and let out a primal scream
''Help me''!!!!!!
In haste
But no one comes
As reality bites
About my impending demise
As my muddy grave and impending
Death
As I struggle
With one last gasp of breath.

My bones never discovered
The mires secrets kept
Never missed forgotten
Not even a whisper of a thought
In anyone's mind of me
No sadness or regret.

I am nothing.

Suffocating Dust

Sombre and silent,
nothing bares a shadow
nor a trace of light.
Slow and lifeless,
every face is a blank
surface with no emotion
reflected upon it.
Dim and eroded,
every hand beholds dust
of every spirit’s feelings
and freedom; dust that is
suffocating and as venomous
as a snake’s bite.
Souls drown within the dust
but the memory of their
presence remains as a scar
upon our hearts.

The Song of Strom

There's this little fragile
Betwixt the escort.
Trying to understand
Their psyche,
Their interest.
Are they really the armours
Or the aviary?
And will the dust devil arrive,
Rising from our own silhouette,
Compressing the cage of ribs
With the bludgeon?
Illusion of something erroneous,
Or may be some nave.
Perfect guard,
Guarding the heart,
The cascade of truth
For the so called panoply,
Squeezing the heart out.
Every piece of the jigsaw heart,
Turning out into butterflies
Dancing the dance of freedom.
Breath breath breath,
Screamed the chambers,
Shouts the guard.
Rushing the red ink
To the fragile little heart,
Pumps & paint the canvas,
Red with pure air.
They said it
to be the cage of protection,
And still the heart suffocated
Bearing all the badger in love.
So the kernel continued singing
The song of strom..

Suffocating Dreams

Thoughts drift into the deep
Penetrating fears, aspirations,
And suffocating emotions
In my dreams

As light turns into darkness
Loud morphs into silence
My mind drifts
I paint numerous faces
That may exist in other places

The watery murkiness that exists
In sublevels of unconscious interpretation
Past failures and inhibitions drown hope
I turn over and my mind
Unravels my next creation

Indeed I stand in vast
Dimensions of drifting land
One foot on solid ground
The other remains
In sinking sand

I envision beautiful tigers in cages
While monstrous snakes roam free
I protect victims of child molesters
While chesters sink their venom
into Women and children who are weak

numbers resonate and escape my dreams
as one thirteen means life to me
while I shift 12/08/07 quickly
and create eight ten twenty seven instantly

images of deceitful men
run rampant in my brain
causing me to hide under
shift left, pause, turn right
and lock in to avoid pain

nevertheless, I always dream
I always sleep
No insomnia for me
Although sometimes its hard to tell
Reality from make believe

I take deep breaths when I awake
And kick hard to stop falls
From unbelievable heights
I dig in the dark for keys to doors
To only remain shut out like sunlight

Suffocating

THE AIR IS CLOSING IN ON ME LIKE AN ELVATOR DOOR AND I AM CRYING OUT FOR SOMEONE TO SAVE ME.

RELEASE ME FROM ALL THIS AGONY FROM ALL THIS CRAZINESS I CANNOT BREATHE I AM SLOWLY SUFFOCATING.

I AM CRYING FOR SOMEONE TO COME TO MY RESCUE I AM LOST FOR WORDS I AM HAVE NO OPINION NO VOICE I FEEL AS IF I AM LOSING CONTROL THE VULNERABILTY IN ME IS GROWING.

MY WALL IS CLIMBING HIGHER AND HIGHER I CANNOT TRUST ANYONE AND I CANNOT LOVE ANYONE FOR MY SOUL IS WOUNDED.

MY SPIRIT IS CRUSHED AND I AM ANGRY FEELING THAT THE WORLD IS AGAINST ME.

I HAVE NO ENERGY LEFT FOR ALL THIS NEGATIVITY I HAVE LET IT BUILD UP INSIDE OF ME.

BUILD UP INTO AN EXPLOSION OF ANGER AND FRUSTRATION.

NEEDING TO BE RELEASED IN ALL WAYS BUT ONLY IN THE POSITIVE WAY

Suffocating Thoughts

The lack of breath
Struggling
The touch of fingers
Choking

My bones are cold
Heart breaking

Where do we find the strength
To be strong
And to fight

Scars
Traumas
Fears
Living but not alive

How do we live
To ensure making the best of life?

Suffocating 10-21-2009

Tortured by the vivid dreams,
that haunt me while I sleep.
The many scars that define my life,
this pain I feel runs deep.

Sheltered by the fear of it all,
I'm loosing all control.
Locked away inside myself,
swallowed as a whole.

The walls are closing in on me,
I'm screaming I want out.
Suffocating with every breath I take,
left with insecurity and doubt.

Broken down piece by piece,
damaged beyond repair.
Grounded down, frozen in fear,
how much more do I have to bare.

I lost my independence, my soul,
that stormy October night.
Ripped away without a second thought,
no strength in me to fight.

Suffering the reprecutions,
of the violence he has shown.
Thrown into an unspeakable place,
scared and all alone.

Struggling from day to day,
for a place to day the blame.
Constantly reminded of what he took from me,
held captive in the shame.

Suffocating

My mind feels so confused by all these thoughts needing all of them to end
I never thought I could get this far
But even my own life didn't throw me a curve ball
At this moment I need to get up and maybe go for a drive to get help sadly no car
Moods don't know how to handle, don't want to either
I hate these high and lows don't know witch is better
Wish I could just shallow a pill, truly I just need to take a breather
Next thing I know I was writing my letter
As I write my throat is getting tighter ,seem i can't catch my breath
Eyes filling up with tears as I grab my pillow and squeeze tight
I can feel I'm only a hour away from my own death
Maybe there a chance in the moment towards the end I will put up a great fight

Suffocating

Watching me

my personal

spy

you think

you're a
fly guy

just not
as good

as I

over my
shoulder

you watch

you wait

as you
suffocate

me

I can't
breathe

you're all
over my

ass

will this

pass

I hope so

cause

I can't bare

the
pressure

of your
stare

you're

always

there

watching....

Suffocating

The wall of distress is
where my boundaries
stop to absorb my call.

I am out of breath, by
suffocating, I am
breathing.

I want to turn, right.

I left to leave.

Too late.

That is where I flame
and where my fires
burn.

This all explodes for no
apparent reason.

Or anyones concern.

The bridge into time,
collapsed in my mind.

Pillars of strength are
being washed away.

Sole solemnly silent,
without signs.

Walk I do.

Talk not much.

Bitter is better when my
sanity cracks the door
to insane.

Destruction to
perfection.

Adding to my division.

Playing just for one
must.

My lies have no cause
for a pause.

I found success in the
motion of corrosion

Suffocating Me

Being in love with you,
Took all of my energy,
And I felt trapped.
Trying to be perfect for you,
Always putting all my effort,
In our relationship,
And you never gave enough.
But for me,
It took everything out of me.
And drained my strength.
Now, I’m tired,
Of trying to love you,
And making you happy!
I’m not fighting for our love,
When you won’t put anything into it.
This was never real love,
This wouldn’t last forever.
There’s no point in trying,
Because this fantasy,
Was wasting my life away,
Your lies were killing me.
You were suffocating me…

Premium Member Suffocating

I turned slowly to capture a glimpse of you
but you disappeared and started to fade
Where are you?
My betrothed
My one and only
I long for your touch
I am suffocating without you
I can't breathe...no air...no air
My lungs are collapsing
Only you can save me and become
what I need to survive this torment
Your love in turn will be my miracle

Suffocating Love

I'll always remember the dancing of our tongues,
For me it showed your love easing stress and bringing air into my lungs,
Why all of a sudden did you have to cause my heart to strain,
Finding out it was with me you would no longer remain,
The tears from my eyes form streams,
Coming to a puddle on the floor that gleams,
All over my heart and emotions you tread,
Breaking everything wide open and stained blood red,
Now breathing for me is an uneven fight,
Without your life giving kiss my lungs have become dried out and tight
