Premium Member Wounded Sigh

A wounded sigh, an expression evincing the pain of hurt,
A bawl in solitude, turbulence of inner emptiness stirs,
When emotions clamor, simmering in angst of regrets,
When mute demeanor, of injured breath, wistfully frets.

Soul desperately aches for a special someone to talk to,
Someone who understands the language of quietude,
Someone who can soothe the trauma, of life gone askew,
Someone who brings to fore, hope of tomorrow anew.

Laments of past echo, moaning upon meadows of life,
Reverberating in heartbreak of grief, bereft of promise,
To rehabilitate devastation of savage emotional storms,
As covenants, deemed eternal, hesitate in broken vows.

Wounded hearts now trace moments of love, sadly lost,
When loneliness dwells in nightmares of past forlorn,
When the abandoned pledges of forever, callously mock,
As muffled wail recalls, life of joy and love, that once was.

Sorrows now seek solace, yearning compassionate voice
To soothe tides of heartbreak, agitating lonesome mind,
As hopes of morrow rekindle in womb of promising night,
When smile-endearing, subjugates cry of wounded sigh.

Oh sapience of musings, oh savior of poetic art!
How longingly I seek you out to inspire my ballad
When lassitude of the night envelopes my mind
And grimace of dawn darkens shrouded in fog.

Oh lyrics of melodies, oh harmonies of music!
How eloquently you speak in articulate dreams
When wordless melancholy poignantly echoes
And voice of emptiness confiscates my themes.

Oh redeemer of words, oh language of feelings!
How musically you evoke rhythms of symphony
When broken phrases languish in depleted ink
And haze of confusion subjugates my euphony.

Oh oratory of wisdom, oh intellect of vocabulary!
How metaphorically you divulge motifs of imagery
When ineptitude of simile diminish comparability
And wordplay disappoints in misplaced analogies.

Oh allure of meaning, oh enticement of literacy!
How singularly you elevate cadence of my poetry
When decaying thoughts linger forever miserably
And creativity encounters nothingness of drudgery.

From one poet to another
Your words in me are a thunder
That fills me soul with wonder
As my open heart you plunder

Though I cannot see your face...
Through my poetry covered lace
Your deep feelings I can trace
My heart beat quickens a pace

Your every line scintillates
My wayward heart subjugates
My inner thoughts punctuates
My very soul confiscates

Your heart’s rhythm and rhyme
Not bound to moments of time
Makes each encounter sublime
Holds me with imagery fine

Addiction is my sweet game
And your poetry is to blame
My life is no longer the same
My high begins with your name

Each word is just meant to please
Makes me fall down on my knees
My hunger I must appease
Oh, feed me now, if you please!

I travel the paths of your mind
Treasures of worth my great find
To all else I am now blind
Our twin souls have intertwined

Duality of Man

The duality of a man?

the inner beast of the outer man,
aeons ago were quite unplanned,
the spirit surfer entered a beast,
took control and enjoyed the feast,
when it killed some beast of prey,
many friends of the surfer type,
enraptured with their planet flights ,
by thought they travelled through,
in an instant they were due,
on Mars they'd spend a night,
doing things that spirits do,
taking over bodies, right,
spring into a body a Mastadon ,
to hump a female or fight was wrong?
To alter the path of the beast they drew,
Alligator or Kangaroo,
possession, was too strong?
On Earth they entered many beasts,
some with feathers, with tails, 4 feet,
stayed till it died at least,
and changed it's evelution,
though alters matter see it change,
the picture in you brain arrange,
the power of thought,
escapes the few,
old ways were, of this they knew,
creation this was brought,
a doubt will get you ought,
the narrow minded too,:}
the animal host has the instinct to kill,
anger bypasses, the spirit chilled,
blood and guts sumarrily spilled,
beast reflex is in action,
no spirit satisfaction,
this horror it aint willed,
the duality of a man?

Read Edgar Cayce on the origins of man…
Possibly it explains why man is a predator, a murderer.
Given his animal body inhabitedv by a dubious controller spirit form,
Which is stronger during anger or passion, spirit or beast???

Re: The Spirit Animal combination.

The predator animal some humans descend from in the body type will kill in passion or anger or for fun?
The spirit in the body tries to stop this happening as it the spirit knows it will have to return to a lower worse level in little Hell Earth, to suffer for the spirit weakness in controlling the animal lust in the adopted beast, man. So the strong moral spirit subjugates the
normal tempered beast with some difficulty, but the caged beast waits to pounce on its prey.
Hence a possible murderer waits his chance to overpower the weakling spirit, to do his instinct thing of the animal world quite naturally?

In frozen space there spins a marveled sphere
On balanced perch with fettered care, aglow
An artful system shields a fragile show
And skillfully adjusts to nature’s veer
Both land and sea work seamlessly to steer
A nuanced waltz that sways with ebb and flow
Ensuring life sustained is free to grow
The tenants with the largest minds, I fear
Are loath to gait their stride among the herd
Entitled arrogance on proud display
As man expands and subjugates with flair
From greenhouse gas to ocean stress incurred
The human race insuring its decay
Tomorrow’s hopes and dreams, this folly snares

My Teacher

********

The Lord is My teacher
He Shepherds Me to the Path
He takes' all my worry away!
           --------
He Shines the path to the Light
He also, help's Me to sleep at night
           --------
My fear's are of a need to cry
Yet, and still He severs' My fears'
And tempests My Soul
As My blood suddenly began
To run Cold
            --------
He severs' My Soul
When I am confound in Lost
He subjugates' My past
       And makes life a
Meaningful wonder task
And I did not have to ask?
            --------
He keeps' Me from strife
Deceit and plunder
            --------
He sub-side all of My feelings'
And this is no wonder...
            --------
Even though He had carried
His Cross on His own
He never forsake Me
He never left Me alone
           - Fore -
I am but one of His legion
And He was but,
The One and only begotten Son
He was the baby Child Jesus
The Lord and Holy One!
I shall treasure Him
Threw out the day's of my life!

Deep Down the Throat

DEEP DOWN MY THROAT

Judging by what man see
yes, intertwined memories slumber
and gorgeous silver linings a feel
deep down the throat it stagger

Universally my man kills
and subjugates my loosened freedom
then rounds of blubbering tokens wills
in severe painful skin of a walking warm

Bringing pot bellied sacks
that speaks the moment they are lashed
convincing millions of scurvy scars
then performing serious bids abolished

I will spare my gratitude
to my mother nature
once I find a conviction beyond altitude
but my man shall have fed enough on my pasture

Premium Member He Rules in Splendor

He knows his splendor
would be too much
to take in all at once,
and so he announces his coming
by revealing little bits of himself...

A sun drenched tree in the distance
a building all lit up in his glory,
the windows ablaze with fire
Little by little, he creeps closer and closer
to where I stand watering the lawn.

Not wanting to overwhelm me,
he creeps up from behind
and I feel his touch
on the nape of my neck.
Enveloped by warmth, I turn around
for my kiss.
Oh, what sweet delicious bliss

He then continues on his way
taking control of the sky,
exuding his authority
by turning everything in his path
to pure gold.

Slowly, but surely...
he subjugates everything he touches
till he reaches his zenith in the sky,
and is the supreme ruler of life.

This I know, and of this I am certain
that I am and will always be
a worshiper of the sun!

Regenerate Degenerates

Degenerates & subjugates
Nothing really deteriorates
Living life in magenta & chartreuse
Trying to cover over the bruises
Caused by silver-white lies

Negating the ending
For the sake of feeding
The all so encompassing
Heartfelt alibis

Gravitating towards the fable
Resounding through the Taj Mahal
Told underneath the kitchen table
Heard through the majestic macaw

Throwing stones at the glass ceiling
We call self help, we call healing
Writing secrets in the sand
Hoping one day they'll understand

Regenerate & propagate
We stand at heavens gate
Waiting to be let in
Hoping our holiness outweighs our sins.

The Hermaphrodite: My Hero

A defender of justice, my stately Viking icon
A hermaphroditic mystery unfounded fears surrounding.
Reigns victorious over odium, an unlikely champion.
This brave genius subjugates falsehoods by telling…

My husband is my hero having faced differences alone.
One true champion loves; my darling has forgiven many men.
Caring instead of detesting those with hatreds so well honed.
Knowing the lack of understanding when false judgments begin.

Compassion brings to tears any tragedy borne by others.
Brawn builds a safety net protecting me from foes.
Wisdom wields a loving way of relating to our brothers.
Great insight healed my weary heart and understanding grows.

Educated intellectually and spiritually inclined.
My warrior against evil defends God’s goodly ways.
The front-runner to forgiveness with happy hopes refined.
Walking along a righteous path, together strengthening, love stays.

The victor over loneliness, now, my heart does profess.
No matter whether judgment flies, reality remains.
There is no greater love than our love, by God blessed.
Except for the love of God himself that never distains.

Thanks for wondering, Sara, It is NOT metaphoric...it is reality! My husband was born a member of the third sex...called inter-sexed, these days. Lovingly, Dane

Nigeria's Flawed 2023 Polls

Well, so they tell us-
the political gladiators and
heavy weights. That in permanent
servitude we must remain.

They create a void in our stomachs,
which they momentarily fill with
what they carted away from us.
Just for their self will and whims
for another leap year's tenure to
be entrenched.

They widen the capacity for evil
of the canines they have intentionally
starved.
For a bone's morsel, the canines
viciously their draconian orders
execute.
Just for their masters' sit-tight
bid to be guaranteed.

Restrained with the servile chains
of their desperate overlords, they bark
ravenously at the oppressed,
who have come to liberate themselves
at polling units.
Each time the unworthy is by the
ballot box overthrown, the ravenous
canines at the hands of feeble
patriots gnaw.

A pound of flesh they take
from the down-trodden kingmakers,
to usurp the power they have
in good governance vested.

The umpire with filthy lucre gratified,
raises the hand of the fraudulently
triumphant political Brahmin,
who for another leap year's tenure
subjugates his dalits with utter
deprivation; ASUU strikes, poor infrastructure,
incessant power cuts, poor health delivery,
persistent insecurity, unemployment
and the cancerous bad governance.

With fat cheeks and stiff neck
that is well sunken into a robust torso,
he regularly raises the sides of an
African attire of elitist renown,
set once more to amass more spoils
of political office for a privileged
family dynasty.

Riddle

Tyrant and friend
I keep buried deep
To cease your incessant
Reminding
Your intricate machinery
So finely cut
Your delicacy
Subjugates my freedom
