From one poet to another Your words in me are a thunder That fills my soul with great wonder As my open heart you plunder Though, in truth, I can't see your face... I peek through- my rhyme covered lace Your feelings of love I can trace And my heart beat quickens a pace Your every strong line scintillates And my wayward heart subjugates All my secret thoughts punctuates And my very soul confiscates Your heart’s fierce rhythm and rhyme Not bound to moments of time They make each meeting sublime Enthrall with images fine Addiction: the name of the game Your lines are what is to blame My life is no longer the same My high begins with your name Each word is a passionate breeze It makes me fall to my knees My hunger I need to appease Come feed me now, if you please! I travel the paths of your mind Treasures of worth- my great find To the world, I have become blind For our souls are now intertwined A Repost from 4/11/2013

Good morning/ good afternoon Eileen. I really enjoyed this one again. I will be a bit less active over the next four days. We will be in Vancouver for our son's Graduation.

My enchantress, i cannot keep up with the wonders you pen let alone catch up on past posts, which makes me glad that you repost. Such lines as these by Elizabeth Browning to quote Your wonderful self " Each word is a passionate breeze" fills my heart with a need that cannot be met. I long to read more and would have given my soul to the deivil to have been able to share a write with her as we do on soup. Stay safe wonderful lady. Love Shane xxx

Change upon Change Five months ago the stream did flow, The lilies bloomed within the sedge, And we were lingering to and fro, Where none will track thee in this snow, Along the stream, beside the hedge, ----------------------------------- Ah, Sweet, be free to praise and go! For if my face is turned too pale, It was thine oath that first did fail, -- It was thy love proved false and frail, -- And why, since these be changed enow, Should I change less than thou. I'm so pleased that you read my work, Robert. I will pass by to read more of yours. To say this is a jewel brings me such joy. Bless you. Hugs

Hi Eileen! I love this repost of yours. I enjoy writing and posting my poems, but I also take delight in reading the words of others, especially those who I can well relate to. Unfortunately at present I do not have much time to read or write...life is not always smooth and cooperative! stark reality points its finger at other priorities. Hugs // paul

Yes, my dear. I can understand. No worries. I haven't been to visit you in a bit. Life is really hectic lately. I don't know how I will survive this semester. My work load is crazy. Anyway...If I just all of a sudden stop posting...you know what happened. I've checked out of life! ;) Hugs

Good for you Eileen. The hardest place for me to drive was along the Amalfi coast in Italy. It gave me an appreciation for the Italian drivers. Super busy as well, it is my month end so extra pressure and hours to be worked. Back to normal by Thursday next week. Hugs back to you Eileen.;0)

I was worried about you....Glad to know it's work. You'll see it through, Richard. Oh...I love Italy. I've been to Milan...and a beautiful island called Isola Bella. :) A dream...Believe me...if you can drive in LEBANON, you can drive ANYWHERE. It's crazy. Hugs

I just had the weirdest thing happen, I commented on this poem and the comment appeared on my own poem. I wanted to say that it was nice you brought back one of my favorites. I enjoyed reading this one again Eileen.

OH....Hi, Richard! :) :) :) It's one of your favorites!!! How awesome is that. I realize that it needs some tweaking in meter, but....I felt like reposting it. Yes, it's back from the good old days! :) Nothing like those days, eh? How are you? I've had a busy day. I'm SO proud of myself....I drove to my brother's place and back today. I'm a great driver, but I've been scared to drive in Lebanon..... :) Oh...how good to get behind the wheel....HUGS :)

;) Good to know I'm not the only one, dear. I do get carried away. I think it's gotten me in a fix or two because you believe the words....you really believe them. :( BUT...actions speak louder than words. Hugs, sweetie.
