From One Poet To Another

From one poet to another
Your words in me are a thunder
That fills my soul with great wonder
As my open heart you plunder

Though, in truth, I can't see your face...
I peek through- my rhyme covered lace
Your feelings of love I can trace
And my heart beat quickens a pace

Your every strong line scintillates
And my wayward heart subjugates 
All my secret thoughts punctuates
And my very soul confiscates

Your heart’s fierce rhythm and rhyme
Not bound to moments of time
They make each meeting sublime
Enthrall with images fine

Addiction: the name of the game
Your lines are what is to blame
My life is no longer the same
My high begins with your name

Each word is a passionate breeze
It makes me fall to my knees
My hunger I need to appease
Come feed me now, if you please!

I travel the paths of your mind
Treasures of worth- my great find
To the world, I have become blind
For our souls are now intertwined

Richard Lamoureux Date: 3/28/2015 4:45:00 PM Good for you Eileen. The hardest place for me to drive was along the Amalfi coast in Italy. It gave me an appreciation for the Italian drivers. Super busy as well, it is my month end so extra pressure and hours to be worked. Back to normal by Thursday next week.
