Best Sprouting Poems
A long time ago, when my
Blooming dreams began, my
Cravings amassed like seeds
Deep in the soil of my heart. I
Expect a sprouting soon, to bring about
Fulfillment and joy.

Before any elaborate construction
on this fit-for-a-princess-primrose-pink
trimmed treehouse occurred, an insurrection
of rooted pulp through soil submerged the link
between its waistcoat walnut foundation,
ubiquitous sleeves of deep burgundy
protruding delicate insulation,
and its genesis source of synergy -
no more than a stratified core, unhusked,
of nebulous fluff bemoaned by no queen.
But while No-Majesty is dustbin rushed
by virtues of none as well as feigned seen,
forever will be there for sprigs on the ground,
where all the love hidden from saplings abounds.

Sonnet
You lift me way up high
like a mountain to reach the top
then you quickly tear me down.
You caress me with love
And put me on a pedestal
then again you make me feel discourage.
You encourage me to dream
To reach for new horizons
and those dreams are shattered
when you conduct yourself afar of your ideology.
And in my ups and downs,
And every smile I give,
and in my effort to reach my dreams
……. I struggle.
I struggle to fulfill your expectations
I struggle to understand
your wants and emotions
[and in the process I lose sight of myself]
and what I want to become.
Knowing this, I open up
like a fragile rose that
Unfolds petal by petal
[and liberate the power that’s in me]
that lead me to trust and love myself
With hopes and dreams
I unfold …………

I was thrown into an unknown land
Shrunken life showed me thrills;
Instant dryness drowned my will,
I went spotless under the earthly pills.
I couldn't breathe, as I am smothered,
I cried in pain no one bothered;
My cries drenched me with water,
Why my little life is beaten as a batter?
I tried to come out from the shell,
Am I the one who was drenched in a well?
I broke my hard shell, It is a hell
As a sprouting seed, I hear a jingle bell!

Wrapped in sapphire ribbons, a box of little seeds,
shivered in my palms as I unraveled the layers.
Planted in my garden, caressed by gentle breeze,
they sprouted into amorphous clouds from the soil.
Creeping along my window side they hovered at nights,
I hadn't imagined a shrub of vibrant emotions...
Ah! They burst in colorful showers in my dreams,
I dance on floating tunes in the ballroom of love.
Somersaulting across the nearby lawn they sweep,
gentle strides of cushioned blooming mellowed showers.
My neighbor seems friendly on gloomy mornings,
simmering camaraderie from sprinkled rain of joy.
I smile and wonder what magic those seeds possess
while they secretly wink from sprouting clouds at me.

The divine nature got stunned,
When our destination merged,
First time you held my hand,
A lightning of feeling got surged.
Wind was stirring mischievousness,
Sun was concealed with cloudy envious,
We were travelling with time,
Yet its impact was extraneous.
Our hands were glued together,
My shoulder was happiest to serve your head,
The bus was in its own world,
We were cuddling in our own thread.
Smiling were showering from words
Discussions were feeling aloof,
That bench still cherishes that moment,
Where we started our home without roof.
Moon’s shyness was evident,
His shine was spreading onto my life,
We were experiencing telepathy,
Silence was covering that benign strife.
Those 7 hours were magical,
Passed with speed of light,
Every second was exquisite,
Dissolve into my soul, a delight.
We were together as friends,
Yet something was strange,
We were talking endlessly,
Dearth and miseries were out of range.
We created a true friendship tie,
Translating earth into sky,
Roller coaster has already climbed,
Ride was definite from that high.

There we are fully hemmed in
in our tree like lives in bark
penned down by our circumstances
feeling helpless and somewhat stark
But got to raise up that inner strength
push our hands through the inner core
like the tree like branches sprouting out
find your resource at your own door
Follow your inner felt convictions
giving strength to circumstances beat
overcome them by God's mighty arm
holding you strong never to defeat
So go on victorious branches to view
hold them up high for everyone to see
full aloft like God's sovereign mighty arm
ensure fullness over circumstantial tree

- Life is like a tree
Strong , but delicate
Useful but almost unnoticed
We start small , just like a sapling
Thin , short , so breakable its flapping
As we grow older and experience new things
The tree gets thicker starts to sprout out leaves
Dead leaves our bad times
Light green is brand new
The colorful ones are times I spend with you
Seeds fall off branches and are fertilized in the dirt
But on Earth , a mother just gave birth
Yes life is like a tree
At least is to me
For I am still sprouting -

To become an upstart
Country trapped in your flirt
You the ink woman
Political fun
To the white
Gone to guide
You lied beautifully
But, you are not beauty

SPROUTING IN LIFE'S PLANTATION
In this garden where only the strong survive,
As seeds, some travail while others thrive.
Planted with care by The Gardener here & there,
Scattered across the earth life gives it share.
The rain will fall, the sun will smite
But a seed must work with all his might,
Use your "widow's mite" to earn a lion's share
And be the judge if, to you, life isn't fair.
But I will sprout and grow up tall
despite summer & winter, spring or fall.
Rain comes with coolness but sways to & fro,
Sun strikes as a nutrient but makes me glow,
even though hard times come with dirty water,
it doesn't stop this plant from growing in winter.
I won't let negative words stop my progress,
or retrogress, I won't live my life to impress.
I will continue to grow until fulfilment in death
says no more room for my labour of strength.
