Best Solidifying Poems

Elementally

Grounded are the feet that be in the elemental earth
Bounded we the legs that keep the motion of walks
Rounded is the dirt beneath as the pressure begins to mound
Founded the discovery to uncover knowledgeable talks

Sculpting melding seeping
The soil underground flowing heated molten
Melting shaping morphing
Formation created solid black rock ground

Steamy is the water of the magmatic oceans deep
Risen layers pillow topped stacked slowly in the chill
Solidifying new earthen life pushed through to a crusted rebuild
Slowly in the unseen depths where land is consuming sea

Wisps of wind waves whistle with gaseous fumes
Lofting liquid red as golden orange fissures spread bloody fires
Inches measured by millimeters mold metals magical blaze
Wild widening of gaps shallowly engraved a blackened glaze

Obsidian wasteland of a treacherous expanse gathered island life
Reflective surfaces weathered time breaking down rock to sand
Erosive washing of corrosive materials gritty consumed by forces of nature
Natural is the condensing of observatory images in the fluid eyes of man

Premium Member Body Map

Sleepless, the body becomes
a mind map strung out on a bed,
color coded in degrees of pain.
Each movement sends an update,
a glowing patch of deepening red
or a lava line of heat solidifying
into a poker branding plunge
with a white hot X.

Staying still is only a temporary
reprieve, a lull for nerves to reset
and crank up for the next assault.
Inhabited space pressurizes
to send throbs pounding
on the walls of each weary cell
accompanied by waves
of relentless ache.

Thoughts clamber upwards
looking for a way out
but fall back into a dark
gravity, consumed by
that agonizingly slow countdown
when the next dose of oblivion
can be dribbled out of a pill
which, with any luck,
should get you through
until morning creeps across
your bed
with another installment.

I Am Poetry

I stand solo, aloof in the snow, a precipitation
of words cascading from a nebulous eye
Fathoms wide, forever dripping like wax onto
a punctured paper serving a Sanskrit sky,

and spreading into sibilant sentences swiftly
sliding from syllable sorcery to soulful serenades
so silent in the shunting shout of white. Poetry
fills a churning void where novels cannot wade,

Phrases solidifying into idolisation of emotion
itself, isolation of the isometric individuality that so
Crushes my keeling cavern of thought, ever
careering from caustic career path to another new low,

Which so seems to crumble into crazy paving’s
counterpart. In this first freeze-frame we can all grasp
A fraction of the familiar, oh so fractured by the
fumbling nature of enforced form. Freed by the gasp

Of a photo-opportunity glowing phosphorescent
with firsts, I am no longer framed by the festering
Constraints of non-fiction, and folding my fond
farewells carefully, I hesitantly face a vision pestering

Me, fearing the fiend that would open maw and
gnaw beneath my feet, evoking an avalanche of the
Vernacular, but I am further past this unfed
existence now, loosened from the fickle friendship of a

Winter thaw. Focus not your gaze on the grinding
gauze of the greats, for the pressing pestilence of
Perishable poetry is elsewhere pondering its parallels
in posturing and post-modern pining for forlorn love.

Praise no other; I am poetry.

Trip Twist

In the void, sipping the zoid,
with mental properties of tripping on the spiral.
Falling down the tail of lions, awkwardly spinning.
With upside down tunnel vision leaking through.

Solidifying all matter that matters,
melting into the walls of your brain.
It tickles all the raindrops dripping in your eyes,
satisfying your desire of a synchronized pattern.

Bleeding purple from the rainbow,
and turning into swirls of diamonds.
Slipping exuberantly beside you; driving you wild.
Where the shadows stop the spirited scream.

Devour yourself into the omniscient grip.
Icy cold finger tips scratch the surface of your divinity,
bringing you closer to the God who whispered in your unborn ear,
situated in your flesh from birth to death.

It embeds itself in the pupil of your eye,
dancing with your spirit and licking your soul.
Black shapes of madness wrapped in chaos and euphoria.
Twinkling and blinking dust of a cloud.

Haze filled skies and blood filled smoke raining from the clouds.
Envisions of clowns and demons laughing at our demise.
Chilling sensations of sickening mannerisms,
mechanisms and mechanics sought out to destroy the tiny creatures.

These creatures running crazy into acceptance of demise.
Deprived of life, scared of death but giving into it's taste.
Taste buds quiver as the taste grows sweeter.
Death, oh death, tell everyone who you really are...

Too long have you been hidden in the shadows you cast,
too long have we rendered your pain.
The world grows sicker as the hairs in my head grey.
I'll never surrender as demons always circle.

Today, begins a new day of our fight.
And I have a good feeling about this day.
Onward, we have united our minds and gathered ourselves within.
Always ready for we accept our fear.

We accept our hate and everything in between.
Accept it all for what it really is.
No amount of doubts will over throw us.
Onward, to peace.

Reys Ekphrasis Imagery and Poem

The bright light of colors interact in the background
Slight haze of orange deliberately mixing to create nature
The color of flowers shapes with fondle metals solidifying
The white and black creating a tiger type image recalls
That the shapes of the insect are also bright
Creation at its best to paint the difference in color
With curves that are defined as objects that are
Shows brightness and yet dark this is natures art

The elegant flow of the flowers and life
Reborn to be disperse in a short span of two seasons
Spring and summer colliding together to spawn
A new life in a brighter stage of the world
It feels as though the wind will blow the fragrance
Or the butterfly will enhance the life of the flower
Flower does the same with the butterfly
A deep trust in feeding each other is all about
The unique nature of the flower and butterfly
Always in the past life flows in such away it’s motherly
To recall the moment of each is a cycle that is complete
This is seasonal and no questions would need to be asked
The feeling of just stopping to watch the event
The event that always feeds both flower and insect
The life that the butterfly show now is half of what is
Reborn to share the colors of two seasons and the world

The Fog of the Altar

To Jules Verne

A man feeling drowse at the top of the mountain, fell asleep.

He dreamed dreams
  emanating from floods of seas.
 In remote droughts,
he gave his fruit of smoke
on a simple altar.

Curd quartz opened
 solidifying thousands of stamens,
they glowed
like the warm reflection of the stars on the sand,
the man kept close watch of the r.e.m. hour.

life is the strife of one baptized
in the depths of all his memories,
yet he forgets before awakening.

  Founding himself face to face
with another man holding a frozen fish
and a bucket,
they begun the climb down,
What do you fish when you fish,
he asked,
for a bolt of fire, said the man
as he released the fish into the ground
and rubbed his hands,
cryogenics?
no, fisherman.

Call It What You Want, Its Still True

I want to live to become
The kind of person I needed when I was young.
Inspiring, affirming and solidifying solutions to the moral dilemmas
of the inflicted youth of this era.

Drugs,liquor and poverty, teenage pregnancies
HIV ,STDs, cimininal activity, inhospitality,inequality.
Obstacles to humanity
are the order of the day in society
Just check in on your family tree
It might have skipped a generation or 2 or even 3

Never Forget

Never Forget

I am powerful,
I am creative,
I am grateful to be here.
Even if I’m not so beautiful to look at
my spirit is irresistible and deserving of love in God’s eyes
I may be silly and not think things through all the time
But I have a big heart and a mind that has the ability to flower flaws
into interesting quirks

It is in naivety that we look to others and material things for self-assurance
We are powerful,
blessed and beautiful enough to remedy the messes we create
with infinite faith in God

I am made in his likeness
and that makes me awesome
I am not perfect
and yes I have some things in my past that I am not proud of
But who doesn't
I am strong enough to not let those things define me
I will blaze through, smiling
as I overcome any and every obstacle in my path

I have already begun to make positive changes in my life
Not even the sky is my limit
I will hold my head high,
solidifying to myself and everyone who ever doubted
that I am smart,
beautiful
and worth all things wonderful in life

The Eraser of Sins

knock knock
its me who chase your greatest enemies
i am the one with no rival
i am the one that pushes you to Ar-rahaman
you can find me anywhere in the mosque and the Islamic center
from sha'aban to Ramadan
i unite the Muslim ummah
i am your best friend Ramadan
marhaban! marhaban! O Ramadan with joy we welcome you as our guest
the month of fasting, Qur'an and taraweeh
doors of jannah are open wide
the devil is chained up
evil forces are disposed
the hell is closed
you feed my iman
you can see the vastness of the ummah
teaching us to grow from
 our spiritual adolescence
battling with our souls
you mend our hearts and give us tranquillity
solidifying our bonds with our creator
the night we spend in taraweeh prayers prepares the soul for redemption
let's not forget our less fortunate brothers and sisters
the devil losses and we win
some don't have food for suhoor and iftar
we have to ignore the devilish whispers
when they are in pains we're in pains regardless of the distance
let's give our assistance to the Muslim ummah
we're asking for your mercy upon us
to be admitted into your kingdom Ya Allah

The Warrior's Tale

Running
I’ve spent so long running
Fighting and killing
Hardening and solidifying
Now I shed my armor
And embrace the peace I’ve earned
Trade battle fields for rolling hills
If only for one night
Lay in the grass of the home I never see
And stop the world in these moments
Lay my head down with the setting sun
And thank the stars for the silence they bring
They twinkle new stories I’ve never heard
I’ve never had time to listen
If only for one night
They have my attention alone
I smile with them
Exhaling and letting go
Breathing

The Everchanging Experiment of Existence

as the fresh morning utilized the Moons net
one last time before she turned in
while her other face puts on make-up
eagerly she waits to kiss...

Sunsprinkled showers of light
that frolic across the
ESH
R O
H L
T D

greeting me with interlocked
Rays of Righteousness

confirming my selfless request
IT WAS ANSWERED

meaning
a release of agony
will be
confiscated
by the soft breath
of the
Cosmos Canticle Clouds
wearing perma-smiles
since the moment
Creation
began...

they were given the responsibility of tickling dreams
subconsciously sleeping

as prosophobia promised physical penumbras
a chance to meet a mystical madrigal
that merged with a marvelous Merkaba
that was spinning...

On The Sultan Sea watching solarbears
swimming with spirituality...

they were there that day...
LEARNING...

to heal hearts
by offering a sip
from
The Fountain Of Youth...

letting go of this worlds reins
as this world prepares to let go of us

So sad really...
yet, in a beautiful way...

like bidding farewell to family...
AND WE'RE ALL FAMILY...

this too shall pass...
into portal pools of the past...
solidifying our memories that become...
shared stories through the communities stereo...

skipping like a silly star across the galaxy
SHINING...
supremely sharing their spirals...
through supersonic sound...

ECHOING...EChoinG...EChoIng....echoing...
through the Universe in unison
ushering energies to take a seat on leather stars...

THANKING US...
for our pin-cushioned patience...
PLEADING...
US...

to play the pastel piano
known to spray kinetic knots
knitted atop the night
by a kind knight...

as the notes could be seen leaving the first clouds property
taking in the changes of the song....
that became beautiful bolts
of bronze blessings...

blanketing the Earth
in brimstone pinecones...
that disintegrated into driftwood gatherings
Gathered by the Elect and The Elite, and their earsoothing
acapella epitaph...
causing rest...

might as well rest up for the next rendezvous...
my apologies I'm unable to stay...
for some reason its always been like this
and I wouldn't want it any other way...

I just Pray when I return I'm able to remember
MY ORIGINAL
NAME...

Rest In Peace

P.S.
see you in the trees

Rumors of spirituality, rumors of knowledge,

Rumors very existence hails patronage,
providing comfort through a baby’s thumb.

A spiritual transference of Pandora’s box,
opening it’s insatiable appetite.

Ages of Rock By Terry Cooper

Terry Cooper

7:20 AM (24 minutes ago)

to me

By all means Jim glad you liked the piece!

Ages of Rock
by Terry Cooper

For many years I bubbled beneath the deep Earth’s crust
Hot and molten ever moving, upward trying to thrust
Suddenly a crack appeared, above my very space
I burst out with my cohorts, sunshine hit my face.

We cascaded down a hillside, solidifying as we could
Came to a halt and looked about, the cooling winds felt good
Rain lashed down and crystallized, the surface of our skin
Holes appeared as if by magic, as our innards shrunk within

Dwellers began to assemble, in our caves for mutual shelter
Humans and some animals, with snakes so smooth and slender
All life sought our protection, from the threat there was without
Comfort did we garner, as our guardianship spread about.

Now they come to mine us, for the minerals we secrete.
The sound of pick and hammer, resound with monotonous beat.
Will our families ever return; to the security we provide?
Those caverns now more cavernous, fill us still with pride

There may come a time we’re needed, to again support Gods life
New eruptions being born, on the winds of Earths good wife
Evolving, our watchword, we record natures remedies to your ill’s
Do not dare to really upset us, lest Earths innards outward spills.

Terry Cooper

PS. Not rock of ages. Could not find any cliffs around.

The Power of Love

This thing called "love"
Has the power to change you,
Make you persevere to the end,
Take you up, around, then back again.

Love has the power to
Make you re-define your very soul,
Drive you crazy if you let it, or
Bring everything under control.

True love is not a game,
Stemming from the trenches of the heart.
Love is something real,
Worthy of the highest honor,
Magnifying, dignifying, and empowering
All who embrace its ways,
Healing even the deepest wounds,
Collecting the pieces of a broken heart,
Fortifying and solidifying it like a stone wall
Even the woes of life will never pierce.

This thing called "love"—
Value it, treasure it, give its honor.
True love rarely shows its face
Amid this bedarkened world.
Never again may you get the chance to experience
The power of love.
