Best Seedpod Poems
Sacred sheen swaddles soul made of serene,
soul sun-lit, lifts sinless, into saints midst;
eternal, everlasting evergreen,
essence exits Earth’s exist; white-light kissed.
Soul sun-lit, lifts sinless into saint's midst,
guardian’s wings whispering soul above;
essence exits Earth’s exist white-light kissed,
blue blessing petals dressing soul with love.
Guardian's wings whispering soul above
where fragrant is God. Pure frankincense awed
blue blessing petals dressing soul with love,
spirit freed from seedpod no longer flawed.
Where fragrant is God pure frankincense awed,
eternal, everlasting evergreen,
spirit freed from seedpod, no longer flawed;
sacred - sheen swaddles soul made of serene.

As wings of butterflies dance upon a vision
So curious about this pretty deadly bunch
Flowers of aesthetically blending colors
Sweet misted scent of a deep rainbow shrouded in
Rows and columns of purple and white fantasy
Peace adorns one space in a blurred vision spellbound
Drooping clusters from woody climbing bines entwined
A whisper under the wind’s breath through rustling leaves
Stroking its invasive nature to make it grow
One bares the coming force of the season's trials
The seedpod overflows with toxin saponin
Its poison bleeds from the roots of restive spirits
It can overtake and choke out other species
Growing with Eden's bounty wandering aimless
As is the dark side of the human condition
Overwhelmed by a controlling mind dumbfounded
What you see is not truly what you expected
Nothing short of a miracle radiates light
These silvery-blue flowers on high twining stems
Under the flag of beauty bewitching promise
It silently hides a toxic in its seedpods
Bitterness is camouflaged by fresh spring fragrance
A pleasing aroma to fill you with delights
Without a sense of foreboding one remains calm
Not knowing that the deadliest holds an allure
Held by its underlying mission unappeased
Danger leaking into a world of ignorance
One easily welcomes the feast for the senses
Unknowingly becomes the unsuspecting prey
Kissed by the sweetest fruit of death – a living smile

October skies are painted pink.
Flowers form next year's seedpod.
Migrating geese stop for a drink.
Autumn leaves blanket earth's facade.
Cold nights grow long while cool days shrink.
Heaters turn on; lovers live warm.
There's time to rest, cuddle and think.
Celebrating nature's transform.
The frenzied city far away
Abandoned for a calmer day
Now relish Devon’s autumn hues
That gild the trees and tint the views
Blissful hours beside the river
A sudden gust; the branches quiver
A seedpod falls to float downstream
Borne by the water keen and clean
Perhaps to reach a distant sea
Via wooded banks and verdant lee
But soon to meet its voyage’s end
As stranded at the river’s bend
There to set its tender roots
At springtime force its own green shoots
And so its destiny, not sea
But to become a towering tree
To flourish where the river flows
And shed in turn its embryos
That spiral downwards to the flow
Along the current fast and slow
Ever reaching for the sky
As seasons of the year pass by
Thriving on the river’s bank
With others of its sylvan rank
The spreading canopy now shades
The springtime flowers in woodland glades
Thus Nature’s cycle is assured
And river gazers never bored
I saw the the unshelled seedpod of my generation destroyed,
How I mourned the peanut.
Does the peanut make you shiver?
does it?
I saw the the lemon edulcorate of my generation destroyed,
How I mourned the sugar.
Does the sugar make you shiver?
does it?
When I think of the sweetness, I see delicate words.
Now old is just the thing,
To get me wondering if the sweetness is unhealthy.
A lamb, however hard it tries,
Will always be zany.
A lamb is cockamamy. a lamb is buffoonish,
a lamb is unreasonable, however.
An apiculture, however hard it tries,
Will always be american.
Does the apiculture make you shiver?
does it?
