Noonday Sun

Suffering, so much suffering astounds,
Suffering brings us to our very knees,
And cries out to us in sleepless nights,
In the morning, fatigued and wrenched,
Begging for a reprieve from the day,
The sun is blocked by the sound of our own doubt,
“Where is the end of all this?”
“To what end is this, Lord Buddha?”
And he points to the clouds,
And says, “Wait”
And in that moments waiting,
We think to our children,
And we look to their faces, smiling faces though still starving in tattered rags,
And we understand, that there is a brighter day for them,
For someone made the Sun I tell you,
For someone made the Sun,
And as the Son heats the clouds,
We feel the wind on our heat scorched faces,
And we say, “Allah, what is the meaning of this?”
And she says, “Wait!”
And in that moments waiting,
We think of Mother Jones pleading for her people as she speaks truth to power.
And as droplets of rain begin to fall into our sordid subconscious,
We begin to grasp the nature of a Grace that suffers with us,
And as droplets of rain begin to fall into our sordid subconscious,
We look to each other,
And feel the warmth of a Noonday sun.

I Remember When It Rained

I remember when it rained
During my childhood days
That the rain would
While we were sleeping
rain through the porous roofs
Of our twin mud huts

I remember when it rained
When I was still a young boy
That the water would
While my grandmother
Was trying to prepare supper
flood the fire place
and put the fire off
And we would go to sleep hungry

I remember when it rained
Back in the days
That all our food,
All our clothes
Would be subjected
To coffee colored stains
Of water dripping through
The porous roofs
Of our twin mud huts

I remember when it rained
During my childhood days
That we could not sleep
We could not have food
to fill our hunger
We could not have
Dry clothes to put on
And I did not like the rain

A Mourning Bride

Once up on a time,
   The monsoon season covered,
Shivering sounds of birds from distance wood.

I listened the cricket's music where in dark silent.
I made some clay figures and sold in a street.

Every children happy to saw and few never noticed.
I gave it gift to the poor children.
Their broad eyes filled with joy.
I walked lonely, small flowers smiled to stoop.

That rainy night, i carved the image of groom and bride.
And i stitched the nature flowers with beads.
   It turned to wonderful garlands.
The nupital began, i enjoyed to saw the trational ceremony.

At a moment, my glass- heart fragiled
  Heavy rain splashed in outside.

When harsh wind blowing, rain ruined my images.
I snuggled, the dark shade of life.
My tears rolled in, just mingle with clay.

Feel the Rain

I can feel the rain drops, go drip drop drip,
I wish to let thy sound to only let thy
Rain cripple into my ears and to clip,

The burning fierce fires away from thou mind,
I ask for no such thing as help I cry,
For letting the rain go but I do find,

That I feel un-safe I am scared, I nip,
At myself with a blade cause I want die,
I hear and feel the fierce fires rising up,

As I carry out my last tear I fear,
I think of sweet silence that could be dear,
Dearly beloved I do want to cheer,
Cheer loud and clear that the war with myself,
Has been conquered by me, yes by me.

Acid Rain

The thunder roars
Acid rain pours
Melting flesh off of bones
Of all those who roam
Broken and alone
They all pray for the sun
But
The end has begun

Twisted and sick,souls roam free
Preying on the young, innocent, and weak
Idle minds, they say are the best
Easier to torment than any of the rest
Easier to mold, and keep a good grip
Tonight shadows wander, looking for souls to rip
The thunder roars
As the acid rain pours

Stripped to the bone, left alone to roam
Forever in a world, now desolate and unknown
No life,No hope,No happiness,No love
Tortured until they forget all that ever was...

The acid rain pours
As the thunder roars and roars.

An Overflowing River

The River's overflowing
These days it never stops
There's a flood in my backyard
And it's boiling to the top.
The tides are all muddied
Rocks at every turn
No shore in site,
Still I'm swimming for my life.
My raft sprang a leak a few miles ago
Now my legs have grown tired
And my arms can no longer row
It the rains would stop falling
Maybe the waters would go down,
But for now I'm drowning in this pool
And the grasses have turned brown.
I never thought there could be a thing
As too much rain in these parts,
But not only have the plants been dying,
My pillowcases are all soaked through.
Rain Rain go away
And bring me then a summer wave.

My Bloody Valentine

i sit by the phone
thinking of you
you claim to love me
but how do i know that is true
watching the rain
and than the clock
thoughts of us
seem to cross my mind
the love we knew
and the time it is
almost 12
i swear
isn't it valentines
when its finally 12
and I'm all alone
what the hell
i should of known
our love was fake
you didn't care
i wasn't good enough
or pretty enough
for you
taking a razor
blood rain downs
hey baby i love you
heres too
my bloody Valentine

Raining Tears

These Tears Are Falling Like Rain From The Sky.
All Because Of You And They Wont Stop Anytime Soon.
I Watched You Walk Away And Im The One Left In Pain.
You Ripped My Heart Out And Torn It Apart.
Now I See What I Ment To You And It Wasnt Much At All.
But Yet My Tears Still Fall Like Rain From The Sky.
Im Left Here Calling Your Name And Getting No Reply

Trapped In the Rain

Trapped in the rain
I slowly walked down
The crowded street.
As my rain soaked hair
covers my face as
I slowly drag my feet across the ground,

As the people around me no longer
seem human but just
tall black figures.
I slowly walk as I listen to the taping
of the rain that echoes on
the pavement,

My pale brown eyes are filled
with emptiness and no emotion
that seem to go on forever.
I walk with no destination in mind
No thought, or purpose,
I walk.

The tall black figures
grow blurry as my pale brown eyes
begin to swell with tears,
And slowly roll down
My cheeks and hit the ground.

Soon I can no longer tell the
difference between the ice cold
tears that run down my face,
and the ice cold rain that falls on my cheeks.

I walk without speaking,
only hearing the echos of
foot steps and rain.
As i walk I leave foot prints on the ground
But they are soon
erased by the falling rain.

Trapped in the rain
I walk as the tall black
figures crowd the street
that seems to be growing smaller,
and my tears still fall and
I walk down the street
And the rain surrounds me
And the sky and I cry
Together.

Deluge

You’re the dark cloud that hovers over me,
Blocking out the sun, leaving no light to see,
Bringing down the rain to drown, you cry,
Burying me under the earth’s lifeless sky.

Your nothingness consumes my heart,
Beginning at the end, ending at the start,
Leaving everything lost in my mindless thought,
Drowning my eyes with your endless drought.

Your waterless rain overwhelms my breath,
Leaving no room for pain or death,
Disappearing into life’s infinite air,
Feeling no hope, you’re gone, the despair.

You’re the one I miss, the only one I love,
Flying beyond reach, come back my perfect dove.

Helpful Rain

If I could cry, I would today
Like the rain that falls on this cold spring day

Drip drop, drip drop: puts me at ease
The sky is soaking up my sorrow and crying for me

Why can't the sun be just as effective?
Soak it up and dry it out, like a sorrow soaking towel

Instead of soaking up and pouring down
Right back on top of my brow

So pour me a hot cup of honey tea
And I'll sit at my window and watch my sorrow rain over me

Sad Ole Moon

The night weighs heavy with sadness
as a soft rain falls upon me
the stars are hidden
i feel the moon is lonely

Just a sliver in the darkness
his light is barely shining
the rain is really tears
so alone the moon is crying

For sunless was the day
the world had been so cruel
to glow in the midst of misery
he's finding hard to do

So I'll just sit out here till morning
keep him company
sad ole moon
you can cry on me

Rain Falls

Rain falls on the darkened shadows. The souls of the night.
Falling hard onto the ground. Pounding with such fright.
Feelings of sadness come over thee.
As loving as love could ever be.
Hugging its prisoners. Wrapped in its arms.
All things unruly do go unharmed.
Sitting in silence waiting for the storm.
A new life waiting to be born.
Curled up in a ball to protect from the weather.
Trying hard not to get tethered
Depression can hurt you come up from behind.
Sneak up and kill you. The end so divine.
The rain falling harder as you sit there and cry.
No one to know of the tears you supply.
Creeping into the darkness. Slipping off of earth.
Never to become of any worth.
As the rain falls on the darkened shadows.
Everyone dies as he earth becomes fallow.

When It Rains

Each day as I get older
My memory starts to fade
I softly touch your pillow
On the bed where you once laid

I gently trace your photograph
You dressed as my bride
They're in my mind but hard to find
Memories that try to hide

But when it rains I see you
You're as real as you can be
Like the time we stood and watched it rain
Beneath that willow tree

We stood out there for hours
As the rain came pouring down
Me in my rented tux
And you in your evening gown

The rain somehow clears my mind
And it seems like yesterday
You told me that you had to leave
And I was begging you to stay

It's been twenty years since you've been gone
And only a piece of you remains
But in my mind, you're here with me
Everytime it rains
