Best Ridiculousness Poems

Premium Member Creative Conformity

Creative Conformity, an oxymoron.
No other explanation for I cannot fathom this term in any other way
What has already been, cannot be construed as creative.
And conformity has been done
And done
And done
And done
And done.
Overdone, to the point of ridiculousness.
Nothing creative about it.
If you ask me.
But what do I know?
I am only a poet,
An artist,
A painter,
A designer,
And a dreamer.
So please
Do not ask me.
Go inside your heart
And get the answer.

Premium Member Losing Myself

I wander away from myself.
In slivers and slips
Bits and pieces.
Tiny fragments,
diamond shaped,
in shards.

Slowly at first,
then in earnest,
Faster and faster.

Spinning my wheels
Running toward nothingness
Throwing myself on the edge of train tracks
Waiting for the train that never comes

Wondering at the ridiculousness
of thoughts I do not claim as my own

Premium Member Saturday Matinee

Tame the treacherous TRESSES.
BEFORE battling BRAVE BEAST
IN IRONIC INTENSE IMPRESSIVE
DANGEROUS DUNGEONFUL DREAMS.
MONUMENTAL MORNING MESS MUSES
BREAKFAST BREAKS BLUENESS
TIME TO TEST THE TERRITORY
SINCE SATURDAY SEEMS SO SLOW
TURN ON THE TV TO TRACK THE TREASURE TROVE

MOSTLY MUSING MOTHER OF MOMENTOUS
MYSTIFYING MATINEES
NEXT, NUDGE THE NUTS
AND HELP HARRINGTON HUNT HIS HUNCHES
MUST MEAN MERRY MOVIE MUNCHIES
LET'S LOOK AND TAKE A TOSSING TIDE
OR RATHER RUN AND RISK A ROCKY RIDE

THE THEATER TWISTED AND TEASED THEN
FINALLY FINDING THE FEATURE
WE WOUND UP WISHING WE. WERE WISER
WHEN WE REMINISCED ABOUT RIDICULOUSNESS

THE ECHOING END

The Opponent

"The Opponent"

Something familiar
breezes across
the smile

you balk
at the familiarity
for a very short while

the opponent
opens your windows
stealth like on pause

softly
sensuously
like a cat

for a split
second
violation recognised

and blithely
dismissed as
ridiculousness

yet like an
unwelcome intruder
slides the door open

en garde
lethal
messages

despatched
and plundered
sliced, and red

the comeback
cleanly
murdered

Life of Our Gallantry

The life of our gallantries

Risky is my everyday devotion
Serving for the nation
Chanting my military incantation
Sacrifice my life and image to my nation

Sparking to burn for others
To Safeguard mothers and fathers
Fighting for sisters and brothers
Forgetting like we don't have closer's

You spend time with child and wife
I spend mine with my gun and knife
Your hustle for a colourful life
I struggle for your safety life

Many died in this world of infantry
While some died in line of duty
Stored in refrigerators of mutuary
My name constantly bear fallen military
All those are not dearly and scary
Remembering those days of mockery

I shout to ease boredom and loneliness
But you called it cheating and foolishness
It's neither drugs nor ridiculousness
To me it's my way not a craziness

We always remained loyal to order
Following the lead of our commander
I feel proud in camour and even bolder
We are family regardless of who is older

Thank God It's Friday

Yes in deed thank God on each and every single day
Some find that odd, ridiculousness in every word I say
But when Friday comes along they proclaim it loud
To me that's like a song one that makes me so proud

Oh they don't recognize it even as they speak
But on something they have hit in so acting as meek
For shall you become as such by saying this one little phrase
As within this He could touch as the Lord works in mysterious ways

And once a week it was repeated in such a simple way
Not one single word deleted or any inkling to betray
And every week after week and every year after year
These words he would speak and speak so loud and clear

But once retirement came no longer needing this refrain
He didn't speak of His Name but only out of utter disdain
I miss hearing that sound as trite as it may seem to be
I know he wasn't found but he was starting to see

Thank God it's Friday!

Sorrow Sighs

I don't know what to call these feelings..
Girl problems? Soul killings?
Better yet, confusion of emotion greetings.
Roller-coaster Life got me revealing.

Ache for the laughter and love..
Why does IT has to divide us?
Making me feel dejected
Leaving me with my sorrow sighs.

Miss the fun and foolishness
That enjoyable vibe and ridiculousness..
Why do I feel part of me grew up, and the other part is still a child?
Girl problems? I think i need a sweet cup of vodka..

I hope ageing is not as dull as how I feel right now.
If it is, I'll have to say my final goodbyes.. even though my heart cries.
Cheers to this Life dogma!
Leaving me with my sorrow sighs.

Premium Member Just a Speck

NASA’s Voyager launched
For interplanetary travel
Sending home wild snapshots
Of our solar system and beyond
Giving us an awestruck concept
Of the wide expanse of galaxies
A vastness inconceivable

The irony so laughable
Over the ridiculousness
The infinitesimal triviality
The absurdity of man’s
Outrageously oversized ego
As like a king he parades
Stomping on the speck
That’s our little blue planet

The Relentless

The Relentless
I know, do not remind me, but today I saw my father
On TV, he is 110 and can dance salsa, so if I´m like him
I have years of gymnastic prowess
I rang the TV channel asked for my dad´s address, they
didn’t tell me against policy....ok.

I´m tenacious like the Wiesenthal centre pursuing war
criminals to their grave and spitting on it, because their
ideology to the pursue of old crimes have no limitation
nor forgiveness, but my father wasn´t there, his voice
was ensnaring women

A, this centre of vengeance has a duty to follow the old
Nazis to the point of ridiculousness, the lowliest guard
at a concentration camp will do an old face in the papers.
Alas the money well is drying out even evil Nazis have to
die and get a Christian burial.

And one wonders if a new law is being made that gives
the right of the survivors to follow and righteously
demand that the grandchildren of the wronged should
benefit too we remember the pain because a corny eye
 demands ritual repentance.

Free Cee Did You Say Resurrection Or ********

DID YOU SAY RESURRECTION OR ********?

Pardon me Mister Sinister Minister
But you are not so much teaching as you are screeching and reaching
While preaching to the choir about brimstone and fire
As I deem you a damnable liar
And a prodigal prostitute who should be destitute
While I remain resolute against your irreverent and irrelevant irregularities
And you raise my ire to a dire decibel
Because I am not a disciple
Nor am I a member of your congregation
Because you are an abhorrent aberration whom I abhor
You unholy whore
Your soul on the whole is the goal of a ghoul
And I anoint you a fallacy and a freakish fool
While you duel with a demon whose semen is sanctimonious and erroneous
And I point to the error of your wretched ways
Until the end of days

You serve an ironic idol who is an iconoclastic and bombastic bastard I berate with hate who makes me irate…..
And whose fate is forecast by the force of a phallic symbol symbolized by the simple minded followers of a fraud
Who, quite frankly, leaves me abominably bored
An impossible imposter who fosters the phoniness of a fake who can’t make a pretender into the defender of the defenseless
Only the senseless hordes of impious who hear and believe the pretense you preach about
And fill me with undiluted and indubitable doubt
Because someone should wash your mouth out with soap
Hang you on the end of a rope
As you grope with grievance for the allegiance of the almighty
Since your facts are based on flightiness and reprehensible rhetoric scorned by the sensible and seen for the tripe it is
Ripe and rife with ridiculous conclusions
And the illusions of illusive, insidious, insipid and all inconclusive information
As I repeat
I am not a member of your congregation
Mr. Sinister Minister of misery and miserly compassion
Whose ration of ridiculousness is reclusive and replete with completely indecisive and indelicate ideologies
And what you preach and teach about is simply old hat
And so Mister Sinister Minister
Take that!

Godfather

leading the mob
you come to find out some truths about certain situations
being the best man for the job
in more ways than one
your two sides to this civil war is no longer necissary

Allow me to explain

first I'll explain your spiritual situation
jesus was a threat and a promise to your god
my son
disguised as the meaning of life
to give your creater a chance to do the right thing
kane my bodyguard in a sense, living the lie that he would help your god rule me
in his mind there was nothing above him

As a spiritual family among you the whole time
we did the best we could to make up for the many things he was lacking
a world tortured by endless ridiculousness
not even a family man, for we were prepared to assist him in his self discovery
a world blackmailed by their own good intentions that never paid off

The angels in heaven have now been trained
first off he will be put into a sleep by what i have come to know as gabrielles dance
he will be sentenced to walk among you as a lost cause
suffering from the lack of a free will

try as often as you want to work together to manipulate that through your music and media
the angels surrounding him with this dance keep him safe
to never break the chain
pay attention this will be proven to you
in this story the damage that was done in your attempt to locate the lost cause
was blind leading the blind
and now you are more aware

Kelly Springer

Empty canvass.

Your periscope
Will never
reach my center.

Unless I attribute
Your Felix and
such ridiculousness.

Silly am I?
Well perhaps
It is my unrepairable
Libido now.

And the elderly
Weep while I partake
In sinfulness.

But of course,
we are of the
Thirdkind.

And indeed
A swing-set
Cannot fix this.

Roman Empire Revisited

Crimson
and
Velvet Semen

All a sort of
Ridiculousness now,
without treasure
Trails,
Bodies of Evidence
And enough tomfoolery
to induce gluttonous
Indulgence.

And Caligula
would be proud, yes.
But not without
the papyrus reeds
swaying,
Dying.

The sink is full of
Poison water.
And I at least
with try and
Cheat death

With a single
Drink.

Not About Biscuits

I read in the news the other day,
Believe this if you can.
We should have a gingerbread person,
And not a gingerbread man.

Yes, things should now be genderless,
In order to avoid the flack,
Should anyone be offended,
When buying a gingery snack.

When it snows, don’t build a snowman,
Avoid the ladybird,
No, if you’re vexed by the gender of biscuits
I don’t think you should be heard.

If upset by a Portuguese Man of War,
Then I hope it’s because you’ve been stung.
Not because it shouldn’t be male.
Please just watch your tongue.

So sheep must be feminine,
According to your rule.
Or maybe they’re just sheep after all,
And you’re really just a fool?

Do you avoid mannequins?
Their manly name make you sad?
Or do you try not to be happy,
For a male is contained in ‘glad’?

Manchester must surely be added,
To your list of masculine foes.
But it also contains ‘chest’,
And we all have one of those.

In this scary world of ours,
With so many keen to divide.
We must choose our battles wisely,
And then fight them with pride.

We must support those who need us,
Targeted for who they are.
For their race, religion or who they love,
And we must re-set the bar.

Equality, yes! Ridiculousness, no!
There is a much larger war,
And everyone should have the same chances of life,
However they are born.

I think it’s clear to most of us,
That it’s really very drastic,
And we must act now to prevent the planet…
… from drowning in a sea of plastic.

I cannot fathom how so many treat
Our fauna and our flora,
In a world where so much is advancing,
Our planet is getting poorer.

The world is going weird on us,
And should it be deemed fussy,
When a woman has to ask…
… that she is not grabbed by her pussy?

And the UK is struggling too;
Do we leave or do we remain?
Just tell us of the final deal,
And let us vote again.

We’re letting down the NHS,
The sick, the lonely, the old.
And I think wealth is skewed beyond belief,
If I may be so bold.

So when choosing your battles in future,
I really wouldn’t risk it.
Nobody has time for someone,
Who’s offended by a biscuit.
