Premium Member Jubilation and Joy
Upward through a soft patch of early Spring
If green plants and petals could only sing

Jubilation and Joy would ring out
    Fleeing wintry straightjackets

I'd wave to them; they'd wave to me
  ...

Premium Member Earthy Empathy
You've heard that self-unfulfilling prophecy?
"I love humanity--
it's just people I can't stand."

I love healthy humanity--
it's just uppity and/or snooty people I can't stand

I love cooperative humanity--
it's just overly-competitive individuals I can't stand.

Not so distant from,
I love U.S. society
and nationalistic
patriarchal monotheism,
absence of healing and empowering...

Premium Member Old Maid Games
I recall a card game
probably extending back past the 1950s
called Old Maid.

There was also Authors
and a few other choices
less popular with me.
But Old Maid sticks in mind
as blatantly sexist
and ageist
and, for a country kid
in redneck rural Republican Michigan,
the most fun
of admittedly limited card playing options.

Whoever...

Premium Member Empowering Passion
In passionate psychology,
powers of proactive compassion
are generally thought of in personal
and familial
interdependently relational
perspectives.

In political science,
large-scale powers for proactive compassion
resist reactive competition to merely overpower the opposition,
preferring pro-active energy for liberal love
constrains against investments in conserving capital-hoarding capacities
feeding and fueling multi-generational greed of privileged inheritance,

Social altruism...

Premium Member Energy Democracy V Fascism
I suppose
cannibalism
is the logical conclusion
of rabidly overpopulated fascism.

Some cannibals,
perhaps all,
ate their human prey
not for typical nutritional reasons
like other forms of digested nature,
but more specifically
because those dining
hoped their prey's sacred powers
would thereby become their own,
conjoining for their unilateral augmentation,
like fascism.

At first blush
this sounds like appalling inhumane...

Premium Member Here Once Is a Time
There once was a species
with one sacred EarthTribe Vocation
provoking polyphonic yearnings,
polypathic necessities
responsibilities
authority spaces

There once was a NewTribe health plan
divinely humane for ecodancing,
ego listening cooperative well-said choreography
to sing GoodNews wondrous anthems
of global theological geography
to worship politically empowered
ecologically recreative
sacred vocation
multicultural nutrition
creolizing communion,
and not sing BadNews

Premium Member Golden Opportunity
Myths of deductive distinctions,
like white could not come from black,
are disinformed
when severed from contrasting inductive integrity,
greyscale dualdark co-passions
within light's future shadows
of golden opportunity.

RightWing patriarchs oppositionally forget
we are LeftWing matriarchal-appositional reborn
within cooperative health environments
historically anded
culturally banded
natively sanded
revolutionarily standing
restoratively granding
deep sleepily learning
ego/ecotherapeutically reconnecting

Premium Member Class of 1970
When I was in my Michigan high school
I found something both promising
and sacred,
portentous with rural, yet also urbane, PositivEnergy,
in and among our graduating classes
of 1970.

Ending with mindful roundness
of Zero.
Preceded by almost octave fullness
of sacred potentiating Seven.
Echoed more gobslappingly
by double-digit Nineteen,
promising most of us
a transmillennial journey
toward...

Wounded Sacred Dementia: Part Two

Dementia's derelict WinLose SocialWorker
suboptimizingly hesitates
when I tell her
I have not changed my mind
about not adopting Fetal Alcohol Syndrome
into my vulnerable home
with a seven-year-old AfricanAmerican boy
blind
and unable to defend himself,
or even run paraplegically away,
in the likely event of predative attack
by a jealous...

The Golden Rule,
like Permaculture Design,
teaches we all deserve
the restorative grace we need,
whether victim or predator of innocence
as we can each empathize
with those harmed
and with egocentric predators;
both written across our own
therapeutic live
and pathology of evil
potentiating hearts.

Cosmology
dwells within sacred ecological wisdom.
Experience of our internal-external relationships...

"America's health care system
is neither healthy,
caring,
nor a system."
Walter Cronkite

An organic system,
an interdependent co-governing web
of relationships between communicating subsystems,

To be resilient,
to remain robust,
must be win/win cooperative rooted
and not so much capitalist,
headstrong win/lose dominant intended.

Win/lose plutocratic,
kleptocracy,
and capitalist monocultural intent,
straight white patriarchal divine design,
extractive environmental plunder,
all logically conclude
with...

Premium Member Better Climate Questions
It has been said
There is no bad question
asked with cooperative integrity.

While those asked with competing disintegrity,
mendaciously,
are not really questions at all.

That said,
conceded as asked and answered,
Some questions remain
more ecologically and economically,
politically and personally,
publicly and intimately,
naturally modern and spiritually ancient
more significant than others.
More urgent
in times of...

Premium Member Polyboxes Paradoxes
I faced alarming paradoxes
as I headed toward puberty.

First,
my King James Bible-belting parents,
extended family,
and all-hopelessly-WHITE farm community
taught me

God loves me
and all the children,
red and yellow,
and black almost as much as white.

That felt good
but then I learned God hates me
because I became queerly obsessed
with hot guys,
and not...

Premium Member Seen But Not Heard
I remain stuck
and struck
by children to be seen behaving
but preferably not heard
regardless of behavior,

But especially not heard criticizing their WiseElders
or, probably worse, mimicking them;
although some parents,
especially grandparents,
do see mimicry as graceful flattery
and occasionally a disgraceful lesson--
our children hope to see and hear us
behaving healthy, in...
