Smack me with your caffeine stick,
Hit me out of the park,
From the sleepy mire thick,
You kindle my life's spark.

A cuppa joe or just a cuppa,
Breakfast, lunch and even suppa,
Grind your beans into my brain,
Take away the mortal pain.

Decaf - such a dirty word,
I pity those from whom it's heard,
With a bun or coffee roll,
Bless you, cup, you've saved my soul.

Mocha java dirty mud,
I'd rather have you as my blood,
Now that I can actually think,
Do your due, brew me some ink.

Brashly dark, not creamy soft,
Raise my flattened mind aloft,
I take you hot, no need for ice,
Show me shores of paradise.

In this life there's water everywhere
it draws us under it's evil spell
pulling us down to it's dark chamber
having an power holding to it's cell

This liquid stuff pours all over
makes sure it enters our every space
transfixing it's hold on every corner
really need superhero on our case

There is a creator who made the world
but sin entered to mar this creation
in this full tank of iniquity's cesspool
the need is for a saviour on station

The son of God came to save
to rescue those caught down deep
drawing them up from such waters
taking them to where you don't weep

Heaven is the home of God
there everything's clean and pure
redeemed sinners will all be there
for God's promises are ever sure

(' He reached down from heaven and rescued me. He drew me out of deep waters.'
Psalm 18: 16 )

Rescued

With the gentleness of a dove
you made me what I would be.
Softly, quietly you used love
from my past to set me free.

I did not know of your design.
It was subtle, sweet, tender.
But my soul it did surely find
and all my faults surrender.

A day came when I was new,
I scarce could understand why.
But now I know sweet, gentle you
found me worthy of a try.

"who Rescued Who"

I found you covered all in matts
You ran and jumped into my lap
My love for you came so fast
You said the same with slight glance
I brought you home with me at last
Your heart grew strong, your body fat
The years you lived in such disgrace,
never shown upon your face
Your little bones I know are frail
You sooth my worry with flick of tail
I hold you close and plead "don't go"
You lick my face and still my soul
I know someday your time will come
I promise "Ez" I will be strong
They say to get a new one soon
Dont they know "Who rescued Who?

With you came desire.
I could not believe what was before my eyes. I could feel that somehow something
was different. I had a feeling deep within my gut telling me you will never forget this
moment. Somehow this day was going to change my life. Somehow you were going
to change my life!
A chance meeting at work or was this life destiny knocking. I had built a wall of
stone, a fortress surrounding my heart now frozen in fear. I could sense a longing
to become as one. I had you seared into my imagination and thoughts of you grew
stronger daily.
Another day brings us closer as we talk, laugh, and plan our first date. I find myself
consumed with thoughts of you. My old fears and doubts start to fade. I panic and
you hold me close and tell me everything is alright. It was that exact moment I knew
I was in love with you and you touched my heart in a way that no one else ever had
or ever could!
My fate was sealed. I felt desire through my entire being. I wanted nothing more
than to be alive with you. I knew hope and love did exist and had entered into my
life. My eyes seen and my heart had felt what no wall could hide me from. My soul
mate was here to rescue me.
Now with you by my side nothing is impossible. I have no stone walls just love and
a cozy fortress for two. My dreams come true and desire continues to flow through
my veins.
                                                                            Debbie Knapp

I wander in a fog

                                             Adrift upon the sea

                                       Hope flickers from the shore

And guides me to True light

                                          The Master calls me home.

Rescue Me Lord

You rescued me, Lord,
I want you to know!

When I was dead in spirit,
You reached out Your hand
just in time!

When I was sick of mind,
You renewed me!

When I was sick of body,
You healed me!

Thank You, Lord, for Your love,
Your mercy, Your care,
for Your friendship!

Stay by my side today,
let me feel Your love.

The day he came home, I thought he was saved.

As he accepted my family, I believed he was brave.

He became a member of the small circle I love.

He was clearly sent to me from someone above.

At age three, he already lived a hard life.

Our new beginning, showed a future so bright.

When Sam chose us at the shelter that day,

I believed we could show him love the right way.

I wanted to teach him all the wonderful things.

Like what unconditional love and patience can bring.

They called Sam a "Rescue" in need of our help.

His compassion and character made my heart melt.

So that day at the shelter, did we rescue Sam?

Because it seems I was rescued and know how blessed I am.

Now our time is over, it's time to let go.

After 13 years together, it's out of love he must know.

So reluctantly I send him back to whom sent him to me.

Knowing I'll see him again, hoping he'll remember me.

Comforted now only; by the knowledge he's free.

Premium Member Father You Rescued Me -Dedicated To God Is Speaking Ministries Janeen Brown 2

 There's a light
That shines ever bright
There are deep Depths in the Darkness
Father you rescue me
Come Father I shall come
 I will be drawn
 Until onto your wisdom
Embraced in your bosom, O' I shall come

Father you rescued me

I will come there's a whale in the sea
 And it engulfs me
All I am drowning in my sins
Father you rescue me
Yet you come you came you saved me
And you hold me yo held me out
Your arms outstretched and hands you brought me up out Until the dry lands Father you rescued me

Rescued Princess

Retreating backwards into my world,
with scraps of words and stories.
 Pure light enveloping me,
 a safe place of refuge.
 My own world of dreams,
 apart from the world outside.
 Pain can't reach the inside,
a wall of fog is in place.

 A lost little marsh princess.
Is there a prince on his horse,
with a sword to cut the fog?
 A gentle hand reaching out,
 eyes soft, kindly inquiring.
 Long years of solitude affecting
 her looks and behaviour.
Eyes wide, brought into the new world,
 amazed at the beauty surrounding.

I am in the real world again,
called back by love's sweet whispers.
Hope and dreams can be combined,
and the world is not so dark.
Love will be our light, our hope
and our rock through every storm.
No more running away, dear heart.
Time to face the world once more.

Rescued In the Nick of Time

Bereft the sordid creature stood
No home, alone, it wasn’t good
Gleaming with a wrathful eye
To me it looked; I wondered why
It’s time to run I thought inside
But where’s a place that I can hide?
Then suddenly a light appeared
My friend’s new Jeep through snow he steered
How fragile is this life of mine?
Rescued in the nick of time

Please reach out to me,
in front of you i stand
Faithfully
I, walk the
side lines,
day by day
night by night,
Waiting patiently
for you to come
rescue me.

Father....Im lookign to you
Show me the way, some how ive strayed
Father....Im reaching for you
Please take my hand and gide me through, this life

Youre like the
wind in a storm,
blowing every which way,
I know, youre with me
each step of
each day ,
Drownding in sorrows,
please minimize this pain,
Take me somewhere
far, away.

Please lead me by your hand
I'm waiting paitently for
your, promise land.

Father....Im lookign to you
Show me the way, some how ive strayed
Father....Im reaching for you
Please take my hand and gide me through, this life

Miss Teabag Rescued Me

Ms. Teabag come help me
Stressful and worn out
I needed some fresh breath
I wanna taste your teabags
I wanna feel its warm
I’m drowning with sorrow
And grief stricken my soul
But Miss Teabag
When you lay down the bags
I feel a little better

Rescued

he opened the drapes to my soul
and gently stepped into my life
dusting my lonliness away
bright shining light into my day
removing cobwebs here and there
slowly mopping my fears to nought
painting a smile upon my face
so calm and clear my heart in cheer
