Purpose

suffering by the sentence made,
the pain wave breaks the surface,
the whips cut and the slicing blade,
the masters bloody purpose....

to be owned by the master,
and treated like a curse,
resentment burns hereafter,
karma is ten times worse,

time repays the master,
the next life reimbursed,
not blest with this life with laughter,
so miserable so cursed

Premium Member My Heart

My heart is strong and sensitive
It has been broken many times
But filled with love, I like to give
Far beyond the words in these rhymes

My heart has led me many ways
For things I love, bring sanity
Survival, a theme many days
There is no room for vanity

Then, there’s the heart issues with health
To manage it, to keep beating
To feel peace fulfilled, is my wealth
To let certain things be fleeting

To share it closely is a risk
But to see someone smile repays,
Warmth in cold fears that may be brisk
It beats in my purpose these days

Firefighters Creed

FireFighters Creed:

Alarms screaming.
Birds singing.
But her heart was bleeding.
I held her as she died.
CPR couldn't revive.
How could I save what God wanted taken
away.
Is this how God repays ?
Maybe if I was a minute earlier.
If I didn't take that extra time getting out
the drive.
I would of been able to save this young girls
life.
It haunts me every night.
Pictures of her in the last moments of her
life.
I was pulled away by my fallow brothers in
arms.
Brothers with the FireFighter emblems on
there helms.
Tears roll down my face.
First time is the worst is what they all seem
to say.
But should a 17 year old boy be here in the
first place.
I look in the mirror when all these Questions
race in my brain.
mocking me, Judging me, pointing, laughing,
calling me names.
"Great good job Jess letting her die"
"Well god damn what a terrific guy"
I know it was my choice to enter the service.
But I wish I could of lived a bit first.

Mournining Earth

Pardon me bleeding piece of earth
I see your excruciating pains
Like a pregnant woman in labour date
Loosing her beauty along with stains

Creatures atimes welcome evil as fair
Slowly quelling nature in nature rage
Visiting souls in journey not fare
Mother earth our boat through age

O' remember us in your days
For you are still our home
Good or evil you richly repays
So lets find her freedom

Come, come the earth is crying
Lets find a way to stop her dying

Premium Member Labeled a Fool

I'm often labeled a fool
for helping my fellow man.
And criticized for being
a loser without a plan.

Folks insist my time’s squandered,
tending to the sick and weak.
Why assist the destitute,
they're best left on the street?

Some suggest I play their game
and adopt their point of view.
For it’s totally crazy
to worry the way I do.

Most say you can't save sinners,
their misery's meant to be.
And when they beg you for coins,
walk-on, as if you don't see.

Why suffer another's pain,
they preach at me night and day?
But Karma repays kindness
and will send some back my way.

Help

To die is to live
What can I name death?
Can I call it sleep?
But death is deeper than that
Its sleep is longer than the nights
Is it a deep sleep of many slips?
Death comes without notice
It takes away with no replacement
I think death is a thief
Death borrows but never repays
I call death a debtor
If everyone have to die
Death must be a debt
Do you still say it's a debt?
Jesus paid it all on the cross
...death where is thy sting? ....,
He/she didn't give an answer
If you still say it is
Then, i think it is a BAD DEBT.

The Chronicles of a Dying Man

The Chronicles Of A Dying Man

From an immaculate birth
When the whole world smiled,
Midst celebration and mirth
And emotions running wild,
So, how on earth
Was I an unwanted child?

I was a perfect baby;
Full of love and potential,
To my mother, no lady,
No more than consequential,
Maybe, just maybe,
I would prove non-essential.

So as a growing boy
I tried hard, as expected
And learned many a ploy
To be accepted
But like my old broken toys
I was destined to be rejected.

As a young man, withdrawn,
Suffering a world and its taunting,
All the bullying and scorn
In my mind, still haunting,
And every new dawn
Became ever more daunting.

And through middle age I strode
From mistake to mistake,
So many forks in the road
But the wrong ones I would take,
Where my mind would explode
Leaving crisis in its wake.

As an aging man I wept
For every love lost and regret,
For the memories never kept
Of the people I had met,
Becoming ever more inept
And, in my ways, I was set.

Now dying, my breath
On borrowed skin and bone,
Repays what is left
Of a life I never owned,
To an immaculate death
Where I will never be alone.

Just a Bore

So you have risen
So fairly quick
You want to heal us
As we are sick

But please now tell me
How I can learn
That I'm nothing
So I can earn

How can I forgive?
How can I learn only to give?
Nothing to ask
To be myself

Without a mask?
I cannot do it
All by myself
I'm too proud

I do confess
Maybe it's fear
It's fear from death
Fear from darkness

And solitude
Still I'm keeping
Attitude
But only sometimes

And not always
I have to learn
That love repays
I have to learn

That love exists
And strike through darkness
From my list
To battle jealousy

With both my fists
Halt all my anger
And clear the mist
Not be egoistic

But optimistic
And altruistic
So since you've risen
Out of the dead

Come please lie near me
Besides my bed
And walk with me
For all my life

Cut all my passions
You paid with life
I don't want to miss you
Not anymore

As I'm without you
Just a bore

Premium Member Beloved Apothecary

Beloved Apothecary, you are most
     lovely to me in ways you cannot guess;
your subtle smile, which haunts me like a ghost,
     exalts and elevates me nonetheless.

More beautiful than the rest, you beguile
the best in me, a tame and mild, old soul
your soft demeanor has blessed all this while;
and mended to health and to being whole.

Because of you, I have gained newfound wealth,
a treasure and fortune from meeting you
one fateful night this last spring, on the twelfth
of May, which I remember to this day, too.

Like “Mona Lisa,” so are your delicate ways;
but a glimpse of you oh! so divinely repays.

Friends Until Tomorrow

Friends make promises
Life breaks those promises
Friends promise to compromise
Destiny turns down compromise

Friends offered everything
Forever assured nothing
Friends give nothing but the best
Fate repays the worst of the worst

In this world nothing is assured
Nobody knows how long our stay will be
No one will find the road to forever
‘Cause forever doesn’t really exist
It’s only a state of mind
Guess it’s safer to say
We’ll be friends until tomorrow
‘Cause one thing is for sure
My life will never run out of tomorrow
For a good person like you

My Mother

God gave my mum best of both worlds
Heaven and hell and that's why since she left,
we her kids are confused for we want to go to heaven
But hellish thoughts keep us from flying

That's why I struggle most days
Because I'm still finding a balance of both worlds
Cause I be trying to do good all the time
But in turn the world repays me with the bad

Sometimes I'd seat all alone and wonder,
what if she were here, would I still struggle
Or she'd be fighting some unseen battles for me
Cause she never slept without prayer

And ever since she left its been one storm after another
It feels like our only chain holding both worlds at bay
Broke and is somewhere in heaven
That's why hell is now onto us

God gave my mum best of both worlds
And she made the best out of both
Hopefully we too will find that much needed balance
Cause at the moment it feels like we breaking in between them

Even for his age, his mind is trenchant,
he often pierces ears with things untrue.
It seems for lying he has this penchant,
why others avoid him he has no clue.

He arrives at our door every few days,
always with a new profound yarn to spin.
Always to borrow but never repays,
though i oft refuse he shows up again.

Fact:
He returns because its easier than working,
he has no pride, and he knows I can’t say no every day.
