Friends Until Tomorrow

Friends make promises
Life breaks those promises
Friends promise to compromise
Destiny turns down compromise

Friends offered everything
Forever assured nothing
Friends give nothing but the best
Fate repays the worst of the worst

In this world nothing is assured
Nobody knows how long our stay will be
No one will find the road to forever
‘Cause forever doesn’t really exist
It’s only a state of mind
Guess it’s safer to say
We’ll be friends until tomorrow
‘Cause one thing is for sure
My life will never run out of tomorrow
For a good person like you
