Premium Member Pass It Foward

Having guided a young man through a tough time in life
It came time for him to move on;
Before he left he shook my hand, and said:
“I want to thank you for helping me along.”

“But how can I possibly give back to you
All the things that you have given to me?
How can I ever come close to repaying you;
It seems to be an impossibility."

I looked him straight in the eyes and said;
"Son, it’s your future I am looking toward,
The best way for paying me back
Is to pass my help along forward.

Take the things you learned from me
And pass them to your friends.
Take the love that I gave you
And pass it on once again.

Pass the encouragement,
Pass the support,
Take all the trust
And pass it on forth.

Never forget that you can’t give back,
But you can always pass things ahead,
And that way, the gifts I gave you
Will live on way after I’m dead.”

Premium Member Song of our soul

Invoking bliss magnetism, let heart sing,
aware at all times of this simple fact:
the idea or thought is not the thing,
of the fruit we taste and deeds we enact.
We are merely one of the many forms
manifest upon this earth realm dual,
wherein each entity goes through life’s storms,
suffering unless love be soul’s fuel.
Futile and needless are ego spawned tricks,
deludedly engaging in doership,
since it’s love alone that resolves conflicts,
so let heart’s mindfulness be our worship.
Behold birds cross hemispheres without fear ~
Our heartbeat signals God’s presence is near

Our heartbeat signals God’s presence is near,
warming this form made of organic dust,
so by lending strobes of silence our ear,
in time love replaces animal lust.
In our life, needless is struggle and strife,
for at end of days, love alone remains,
so if we but let God be the midwife,
soul’s liberated from ego spawned chains.
In silence there is no energy leak,
enabling God’s spirit to manifest,
so getting out of our way, so to speak,
as witness consciousness we simply rest.
Nothing need be done, save coming undone ~
Recognise dear heart, God and we are one

Recognise dear heart, God and we are one,
simply feeling His breath in us that flows,
restoring our light, shining like the sun,
repaying debts of love, which our soul owes.
All doings are done by God’s hand alone,
wherein all He asks is that we be still,
awestruck beholding inner light full blown,
whereupon all dark voids within us fill.
Just as we’re immersed in dreams every night,
shrugging it off on waking at sunrise,
from this world too, one day we will alight,
if we but release each offered surprise.
Dwell not overmuch on soul’s broken wing ~
Invoking bliss magnetism, let heart sing

Premium Member Hidden Wings:

Show me sweet angel into the other realm,
Show me what I think I know, and what I think not,
Guide me through places where I would be lost,
Teach me your wisdom and nurse me through,
For I am an infant compared to you.
Whisper what you must so that others don't hear,
Sing to me songs that the angels hear,
Watch over me closely so I feel you near,
And when it's time to leave will you wait for me?
And explain if you will things like destiny,
And before we part can I have my wings?
Then teach me how to fly amongst other things,
Then wish me well for I know you shall,
Be moving on to a higher realm.
Then I can do what you used to,
And guide others when my time is due,
Repaying my thanks by being like you.

Premium Member Opening the heart chakra

When we say, ‘I am’, our hand goes to the heart,
signalling it represents seat of our soul,
which drenched in God’s love deems no one as apart.
To open the heart is our very first goal,
without which in truth soul’s life quest cannot start
but the problem is, ego is in control
and so animal instincts as yet prevail,
with thoughts orbiting dark desires that assail.

The heart is all love and love employs no force,
so it’s only by free will that we can choose,
to make our touch gentle and change our life’s course,
heeding voice of conscience, repaying our dues,
atoning in silence and feeling remorse,
praying like a child till love begins to ooze.
Heart is the centre of our chakras seven;
God dwells deep within, so take it as heaven.

Why Is It So Hard To Be Happy

Why is it so hard to be happy
But so easy to be sad?
When I see how people treat each other
Sometimes it makes me so mad

It costs nothing to be civil
To make life easier for one another
Repaying years of love and care
To your father and your mother

Everywhere I go each day
People are in such a hurry
Trying to make ends meet
Shortage of money causing them worry

Whenever I am out and about
I can always find the time
To hold a door open for someone
They look at me like I’ve committed a crime

I was brought up with good manners
And sometimes people don't understand
Why when I’m introduced to someone
I always shake their hand

They look at me incredulous
As if taken by surprise
Then I shake them by the hand again
While we’re saying our goodbyes

When someone is taking up a seat
With their shopping bag on the bus
I sit in another seat
Because I can’t be bothered to make a fuss

I feel sorry for young mothers
With their pushchairs and shopping in hand
Their space taken up by a shopping trolley
So they have to stand

The pushchair blocks the aisle
And the driver he plays war
He shakes his head in disbelief
Can’t people read what that space is for?

If I am out shopping
And I’m standing in a queue
If someone has only two items
I know just what to do

I let them get served ahead of me
Because I’m in no hurry
The queue behind me tuts
But I’m not one to worry

Manners cost you nothing
It isn’t hard to be polite
But sadly many in this day and age
Don’t know wrong from right

The elderly feel insecure
Even in their own home
Many of them are housebound
Afraid to go out alone

Teenagers hanging around on street corners
Always saying that they’re bored
Making nuisances of themselves
Often community service their reward

What has happened to family values?
When people looked out for one another
Siblings always fighting for attention
In the shadow of a sister or a brother

I feel sorry for today’s generation
Good manners not being taught
I hope that by writing this poem
I have given you food for thought

Miss You Forever My Dear King

Dear Dad, It has been couple of years since you died,
My contact lens would tell you how much I cried,
Time has no power to heal anything,
I miss you forever my dear king!

Your love and advice being my unsatisfied crave,
Why was I supposed to leave you all alone at the grave?
Your absence makes me feel like a bird that lacks a wing,
I miss you forever my dear king!

You were always ensuring my happiness in your every move,
I feel guilty for not repaying your unconditional love,
Whatever the future may bring,
I miss you forever my dear king !

Dear son, just like a buoyant sea wave,
Father-son relationship doesn't end at the grave,
I occupy your dreams to make you feel my presence,
I will be with you forever my dear prince!

Sacrifice and Die

We leave behind the trampled souls,
Leave the land to bury its own.
Our prayers go out to all who gave,
Their lives so precious to those they saved.

Much unrest today.
Was there always so much hate?
Is it the population growth?
That makes it appear much more dismay?

Is it unrest that makes it appear?
To show such detest of life to fear?
I catch a glimpse of those who died,
So I may live a safer life.

Worn uniforms show wounds and wear,
Their life was drained so mine was spared.
How can we repay those who died?
When we selfishly fail to live with pride.

Repaying those sacrificed lives,
Stand up for what is right!
Give respect and thanks,
For the soldiers who died.

Pawns

We the old and broken, have become the pawns
in the grand game of politics. We are as in the game
of chess of the lowest esteem, expendable
if not worse unwanted, a barganing chip.
For three years we haven't even received
a cost of living increasee
while their income they have
increased handsomely.

They have as they so often do broken
their promise to us. Social security was a
promise made by them, that we paid
for when we were able to work,
extracted from every pay check we earned.
Those revenues where to be put in a trust
for us to draw from when the time came
that we had need of them. However our
government for decades have used those
funds as they pleased, for things other than
what they were intended for. Why am I not surprised?
because our so called public servants have
broken countless promises and in the process
lined their pockets from the spoils of their deceptions.
The Bill of Rights and the Constitution
they have shredded and the first casulity
was the truth, now we are the second.
Most of our fatrhers fought and many died to
defend the rights that they have cast into the
the trash heap. Our national debt is now beyond
any hope of us ever repaying, robbing the young of
any hope of a future or even a job, taxes they will have
to pay tremendous to pay for there folly. China Told
President Obama, We're not going to lend you any more,
sure can't say I blame them, probably never pay back what
we already borrowed form them. England is burning because
of the same folly of the politicians, won't be surprised
if the same thing takes place here. People with no hope
and no future what do they expect. They'll go on filling their
pockets with the taxes we all pay, the don't care it's all
well and fine for them. Will give themselves another big
pay increse next year, you just wait and see. Like mother
Hubbard everyone elses cubbard is bare, no bone for
the doggies anymore. They have destroyed everything
Along with, "One nation under God". This once upon a time
good nation has quite literally gone to the "Dogs". The only
Thing that I can say is that I wouldn't have said before,
I'm ashamed of what this nation has became.

Big Scary Monster

Big Scary Monster
"Whoo, look at me!"
Inside I'm insecure
Outside, I'm a bully

Repaying the innocent
For the treatment I received
I actually hate myself
I have really low self-esteem

I'm too afraid to confront the culprit
Who antagonizes me,
So I target those who can't fight back
I'm a coward, you see.

I'm a coward and a push-over
But I masquerade as a king/queen
Notice, I never challenge my equal
Because of my inferiority

I'm weak and I'm broken
Bruised so deeply
I feel like I'm nothing,
Like I'll never be anything

I get off on acting evil
I love being mean
Because I'm a Big Scary Monster,
"Whoo, look at me!"

Premium Member Sonnet For Three Women

Three women's deaths have diminished me,
because I could not get past my ego.
For the rest of my days I will always be
totally in their debt. How do you go
about repaying a departed lady? Perhaps,
begin replacing your thoughtless deeds,
each one, until you've forgotten your lapse.
To compensate, if one truly heeds
all those women in your life that continue
with patience to overlook your own
failings and your part played in the venue
of cultural misogyny is to loan
them all the support, love. encouragement
that you can. That is truly just and meant.

Remain To Resound

Please don't worry, I heard all of your voices loud and clear,
I will still be around, I will still remain here.
I could never consider leaving this website,
Because I've learned to be creative, it's my own right.

Don't worry, my voice will remain to resound,
My voice will simply echo in your hearts.
Like a Guardian Angel, I will watch over everyone,
Repaying my debt for all the kindness.

My voice will resound loud and clear,
So I refuse to leave, I will still remain here.
No matter how much I am torn apart,
This part of me will remain, my heart.

So even as I wave good-bye for now,
I will still come back somehow.
Don't worry, please carry along,
Please remain strong.

Thank you for being there,
So please don't worry,
I am still here.
My voice will remain to resound.

Ode To Gratitude: Repaying the Roots With Fruit

Our forefathers plowed
For our fathers to sow,
Sowing so we could reap!
But, if we should keep
Such bountiful treasure
For mere pleasure,
And take the sweat of
Their brows for granted,
Then we have lost our way
And failed to be worthy heirs!
For the branches repay the roots
With the flowers and fruits!

Never-Ending

Moonlight eyes
cold as night
retrieving from love
its light
orbiting around
in cycle
repaying hurts
real or imagined
with lie of pretending
to vanish.
Bitter sweet
debris
storming
clear water of love
with turbulence
midnight darkness
ahead and beyond
only light
limpid in the night
the I Am Star
Sun of midnight flowers
ripening figs out of cycle
God's fruit of love
available
in season and out
crystal clear spring
flowing untapped
quenching thirst
by human love
unquenched
illuming path
with permanent sunshine
for sunflowers hearts
drunken with light
to follow
madness of
never ending
love

Premium Member A Will of Its Own

Like counting the rings on a sycamore stump,
Nobody answers the phone.
And then when they do, they just put me on hold.
Time has a will of its own.

It flows midnight to noon from December to June
And then back again, day after day;
An illicit affair between tortoise and hare
In a hickory-dickory way.

I borrowed a scene from a screenplay I wrote.
Now I'm repaying the loan.
My script for the sequel rejected again.
Time has a will of its own.

It rolls Summer through Fall till Times Square drops the ball
As the signal to start a new year;
An impetuous race where we all run in place,
‘cause baby, nobody gets there from here.

There's nothing to do on a Saturday night;
Binge watching Netflix alone.
I ordered a pizza two hours ago.
Time has a will of its own.
The shorter your patience, the longer the wait.
Time has a will of its own.
