Real Life Shoe Fable
Old Woman with too many kids
Lives in ancient shoe
Kicks out the heel
And puts in a pool!
Her instinct was to run
as fast as she could...
Her feet started to move,
Slowly at first, gradually faster,
But then she bumped into something
A wall,
layered with promises,
unfulfilled ones
one by one
she delved into them…
NUMBER ONE said,
“I will always love you”,
In little pieces it crumbled to the floor
NUMBER TWO had the words,
“Our love will last forever “,
Now scattered
NUMBER THREE echoed the words,
I would never hurt you,
a promise so fragile
NUMBER FOUR
“We’re in this together”,
totally distorted...
When she got to
layer NUMBER FIVE
a single tear
slipped from her eye
because there she saw
an image of who she was
Before his empty promises
And all she hoped for was
One last chance to be
“That woman again!!...
One last try
To fix the broken pieces
Before his footprints
Demolished everything
she was before him..

Well I guess I'm just one in a million few
that still believes in love and the dream
of dreams come true when you wish
upon a lucky star up above...
Well and I wonder why some people
give up on love without giving it a second
chance, maybe they’re still hurting and
broken hearted from a love that never
stood a chance and although I too
have been played the fool I just can't
bring myself to give up on love and
true romance...
A REAL LIFE LOVING FAIRY TALE
the kind that lifts you up to Heaven
from out of the bowels of Hell, the kind
that comes along only once in a lifetime
well and my intuition tells me you're
just a heartbeat away from finding me
sitting here by this old wishing well
dreaming of A REAL LIFE LOVING
FAIRY TALE and happily ever after
just you and I, running hand in hand
through meadows of wild flowers and
butterflies, underneath a big and beautiful
rainbow in the summer sky well I close
my eyes and that gives me hope that
there's someone for everyone, A REAL
LIFE LOVING FAIRY TALE and all will
be well that ends well...
so I'll wait forever or until you come true
can't you hear me singing your song all
the day and night time too, my heart a
calling out to you...
sitting here by this old wishing well and
dreaming of A REAL LIFE LOVING FAIRY
TALE...
we will be happily ever after just you and
me...
living the dream, A REAL LIFE LOVING
FAIRY TALE...
oh I know someday you will come true
and we will live together forever in A REAL
LIFE LOVING FAIRY TALE...
all’s well that ends well, happily ever after
and ours will be a story to tell of A REAL,
A REAL LIFE LOVING FAIRY TALE!
One's real life dwells
in the depths of his immortal soul
thus
no matter what happens to the body it hosts her
she unaffected shall remain
for
it carries God's spiritual treasures
back into eternity's domain!

Supersized models...
That"s what we need.
The next big thing!
It's a common affliction
Heroes, mostly fiction
Egos inflated
Media created
Not real heroes at all
Real life heroes throughout our nation
Doing it all without the sensation
It's the everyday Mom doing all that she can
Raising her family and clings to her man
It's the everyday Dad working hard for a living
Being very supportive and always forgiving
It's the young soldier serving his country each day
So the freedoms we have won't be stolen away
The young girl with a child living alone
The teen who will not accept what he doesn't condone
The drinker who battles his addiction each day
The abused who had the courage to just walk away
These are real life heroes, the ones to admire
Not the ones created by the media's fire.
Master of the sea
Smells blood from miles away
Swims with dominance
Sharp serrated teeth devours
Naive humans viciously
Thus seen, far past one's own
To delve the ink depths, lone
Too brave to wrest the clasp
Of cold steel from your grasp ...
Oh, how can there e'er be
A pearl to charge the sea
For gods, in all their best
To place, bold, in their breast?
Hence, man's empyreal trial
Midst epochs, stark denial
A matron's peerless valor
Or veil of bloodless pallor.

Doom
Resounds in his head.
Until today he
Gave up everything.
And today he
Dug his heals into the
Dirt. He gave it all to give
In. Tomorrow will be worse than what
Claims him
Today.
Down in the dumps
Ducks drop in dams
Design the due in daily dots
Documentary life dreamt as a slept dog.
Do or die
Doesn't go down
Deplete or defunct
Dim fights betrayal in doo-wop
Dancing daily in dams
Daily bread, daily living.
Right as rain
Remembering the rainfall drops
Real green relaxes under the rules
The rule of evidenced remedies
The ribs remember the rigs
Ro-setta stone coins
Real life repeats.

Laughter, fun, joy for all the world!
Not just holiday time, forever and ever!
When kids can play, mum, dad too!
From fear, much-needed respite, all happy!
Two weeks of opulent, tender loving care!
Back home, fear faced again, real life!
Family can look back, all fun, snapped!
Drama in real life
All seek money and glory

Dreaming shows you many hidden things in your mind; it opens you to alternative thinking…
What are friends? Are friends someone you can trust? What is trust? What is trusting? I've always asked myself this, but never really answered it... Friends are always something I have struggled with.
How does someone become your friend? Is it an unspoken thing? A mutual agreement? A strive to be popular? Or is it a feeling that everyone has?
Throughout my elementary years I had 6 friends. Brandon, Mattia, Isaac, Matthew, and 2 girls, Emily and Sydney. When I hit 5th grade, Isaac, who was my best friend, moved away.
I had one big problem, people who I saw as friends, weren't really friends. There were a lot of things said behind my back and people would use me as a fall guy.
Onto my dream...
My dreams as a kid, before I trained myself to lucidly dream, were, as far as I knew, real. And to be honest, for the most part I don't know what was a dream and what wasn't...
I remember the new "cool" game to play was ZAP... If you don't know what zap is it is pretty much you put a name on a hand and a time and they can't look at it until that time or they must ask them out. This also happened to be the time the term "gay" had hit my school, so I had a guys name written on my hand. So once I found out what it was I went and washed it all off. so as we went back in class everyone who fell to peer pressure which was pretty much everyone but me got in trouble.
Now I told the teacher I had it at one time but I washed it off at lunch because Iw anted to be honest.... She just said that was the right thing to do.... But everyone started laughing at my calling me gay and such because it was a guys name... So when asked who satarted it someone said ask the gay kid.... Well of course I got blamed with it so I was sent to the principal with not one, but two reasons to be in trouble... I woke... got ready for school, and as I was getting to school guess what I saw? A new friend, and its name was Zap.....
What is a true friend? Is it someone who will stand for you? Someone who is always there? Do you have a true friend? Do you trust that person? Now answer that again, do you really? Ask yourself a third time, how do you really know they are your friend?
P.S. Thank you all for all the support, I have really appreciated all the positive feedback on my work... Jarrod D.~
in real life you're not real
I got the idea of being there
I constructed myself at your being
I gave myself in your image
I was given up
far from happy psychoanalysts
faithful to your beauty
In real life, there's joy and pain,
A balance of sunshine and rain.
It's not always easy, but it's real,
A place where we laugh and sometimes feel.
There are moments of pure happiness,
When we feel we're blessed with success.
But then come the times that we fall,
And we wonder if we can stand at all.
It's in those moments that we find our strength,
And we realize that we're not alone at length.
We have friends and family to hold us tight,
And we know everything will be alright.
Real life is a journey that we all take,
With ups and downs that we can't fake.
It's where we learn and grow and thrive,
And it's where we truly come alive.
So let's embrace real life with open hearts,
And appreciate all of its different parts.
For it's in the struggles that we find our way,
And it's in the triumphs that we learn to stay.
