Notes About The Poem

" LIFE AND DEATH " MY PHOTO, ©

One's Real Life

One's real life dwells in the depths of his

Immortal soul,

Thus

No matter what happens to the body, the soul,

Unaffected, shall remain,

For

It carries God's spiritual treasures,

Back into eternity's domain!

Mortals we may be but the good we do in this life will carry to the next in our soul. Tom

Yes, it is true my friend Tom but it is also true that this goes for those who do evil also. Thank you!

I don't often say this about anyone's poetry, professor...but this is very, very good indeed. My favourite poet, Ezra Pound, would, I am certain, have given it a quiet nod of deserving approval. My very best regards, Demetrios. :) john

My friend, John let me start by thanking you for your gracious comment and by suggesting that the renown Ezra W.L. Pound (put aside his political views) would approve of my humble writing! That would be a real honor. Blessings my friend. Keep safe!
