God's Provision
If it wasn't for the Lord
Who gave us sun and rain
We wouldn't have a harvest
Only land that's dry and plain.

So thank you Lord for blessing us
With everything we need
The sun and rain that nourishes
The planting of the seed.

For Brian's contest, Harvest...

Provision With a Price....
Agrarian....agriculture
wet and dry affecting bolster
basic grain pre-market commodity
dispersal targets rift uncommonly

Feedstock fodder higher priced
milk,egg,cheese will future thrice
upkeep livestock feel the strain
lack of grain...we'll all feel the pain

Corn,wheat,rice and soybean
hot potato money machine
pass the buck absorb the cost
surcharge tacked as all not lost...

Provision
Gods provision is never far away
Gods provides for us every day
just as he provides for the birds that eat worm
and for those that eat seed
God provides for our ever need
just like wild flowers that clothe the grass
so eloquently
when you seek ye first ...

Premium Member God's Merciful Provision - Hosea 2: 13-15
God has seen all our idolatry
how we've rejected His divine plan
casting off His goodness for our lovers
thinking of intervention by mere man

Their memories of God is gone
hoping only in themselves alone
but the Lord will come and punish
showing His dear love for His own

The Lord speaks...

Premium Member Pathogen Given Provision
Ocean girdled nation had prospect for absolute containment
Overseas observers, in distant comfort, complacent
Wuhan origin arrivals sparked a catastrophic failure
Leaving lock down 25th January, flying into Australia
Similar instances followed, action came agonisingly belated

Contamination suppression echoes with mismanaged lament
Millions of innocent impeded by heartache of...

Premium Member God's Sufficient Provision For All Sinners - Luke 5: 32
Ever since Adam sinned at the fall
sin has entered every human alive
bringing spiritual death upon us all
lost forever no matter how we strive

God has worked out a perfect plan
sending His own dear son to rescue man
this would take Him to Calvary's cross
shedding His blood for...

Provision For Tunnel Vision
A Provision for Tunnel Vision

Pretty prostitutes were in tunnel vision;
What Trump did was make a decision;
A lot of static,
And problematic;
For such action added perfect provision.

writing poems? Think I just did....

FARTHER FATHER WE REJOICE IN YOUR PROVISION-

Farther, yet infinitely ever close to me;
Shall I be the fore bearer of the protected?
Embraceable, not be replaceable
Finally farther father we rejoice in your provision
A chance to gift, up lift
Father I my soul and I
Reach out from within, as...

Protective Provision
You are being transported
On the road, HE, provided
In the JEEP promised to me
I got to walk the way
Following,HIM, in the dark
But never, really, got to see
How it would play out, in the natural

You are living in the home
A place of peace and rest, He, provided
To...

Yellow fire hazards blemish the lawn,
prickly to bare summer feet.
Locusts overtake the heat.
Aphids feast and continue to spawn,
yet still remain strawberries to eat.

Undeserved Favor
You deserve our adoring praise
For You alone are worthy of honor
Making our playing field more even
Gifting us with strength and power
To vanquish our enemies' schemes
We cannot express our thanks enough
For Your name is our provision
Let Your favor and mercy flow
This year will be one of...

Premium Member God Surveys the Sparrow
God surveys the sparrow as she cares for her young,
and attends to her every tune as it's sung.

He enables each egg to hatch in its hour
from single cells to pip punch with beak's power.

God brush strokes each feather varied tints of tan
and grants them to...

Wild as ivy vines climbing up pines,
in the outskirts of nature
where mountain lions purr,
my lungs expand like the open land.
Breathing in peace, as rippling as a creek,
watching an eagle snatch up salmon,
I witness the cycle of life: unkind but providing.
Abiding upon a log...

Field of Vision
Field of Vision

I have never seen an Angel,
They are not for me to see.
But I know a Heavenly sentry,
Is watching over me.

I have never met the Devil-
But some nights upon my Bed;
That sneaky Ugly rascal,
Dances wildly in my head,

In nighttime's lonely hours,
When all good children...
