always try to earn it"

Early to drink,
And early to smoke
Will leave a man shaking,
Coughing, and broke.

loneliness is a good thing...
to share with someone
There was a young girl on Long Bay
Her swim shorts began to show fray
Rip spread up the seam
I thought I would scream
When chubby cheeks went on display!

The 'stitch in time' notion has been current in English for a
very long time and is first recorded in Thomas Fuller's
Gnomologia, Adagies and Proverbs, Wise Sentences and
Witty Sayings, Ancient and Modern,
Foreign and British, 1732
My own proverb......
“ The peace is always buried alive in the name of freedom,
where all those fake leaders get together and march forward to the
cemetery to bury the body called ‘Peace’ ”.

My own proverb......
“All religion is like the tributaries of a river, they ultimately flow into the ocean, similarly truth comes under different names but the end result is always the same”.

Faith, is the antithesis of proof...
“ Love is the greatest portion of our lives,
although sex is hidden in love as a twinkling star”.
Proverb by - Ravi Sathasivam
A melt down occurred high outside
That ended a fabulous ride
Let's love licorice
But recall Icarus
Whose fall was preceded by pride
Author's note: Licorice is dark and an allegory for the bad things one needs in life. We know that bad is stimulating, but too much of a good thing can have the opposite effect.
"Life is not a religion but religion is shows away of live life" -
- Ravi Sathasivam
"He murders and then walks in the funeral procession."
You ask me why the tears
Why the sad face
And inside I laugh
At your gull in asking
When you know full well
You are a murderer
And yet
You walk in the funeral profession of my heart
Wailing and mourning
Dressed in black
Crying tears made of glass
Manufactured perfection
Each “drop”
shattering as it hits the ground
A sound
Only I hear
You eulogize me
Speaking of my wonderful traits
What made me the beautiful woman
Everyone loved and wanted to be with
Everyone but you
Everyone but YOU saw my real beauty
The crimson glory of my robe
The scent of my being
YOU saw the thorn
Yet today
You call me a rose
You ask me why I weep
You ask me why I mourn
You murdered my heart
Yet you walk in the funeral procession
The last laugh is on you
For after 3 days
I will rise again
I need to rest in this tomb
Before I see the light of day
Before I awake to newness of life
But alas...
ALAS...
You will not be there
To witness
My resurrection day.
Eileen Manassian
