Premium Member They Never Heard What Was Said

The year is 2310
Humans still inhabit this earth
When they view all around them
It hardly seems worth

For their ancestors before them
Never heard what was said
If they continued to abuse her
In two hundred years she'll be dead

As they look out their windows
And view as they say
As they scroll through their histories
The world their ancestors knew in their day

    They lived at the time
When their world was at lush
Where animals were still with them
    Some demised to a hush

    The Polar circles were threatened
    By mans carbon emissions
They never heard what was said
    About common sense missions

    Their populations exploded
    As they struggled to feed
    Their richer got richer
    Conglomerate greed

    The life of their planet
    Continually plundered and raped
    Rain forests destroyed
    Barren lands now drape

    Conflicts were rife
    Guerrilla warfare the norm
    Pales into significance
    From the 90's Desert Storm

As they look out their windows
And view as they say
As they scroll through their histories
The world their ancestors threw away

Premium Member In My Perfect World

In my perfect world let me ponder my thoughts
And tell you what should be, a world that's not fraught

To live side by side all colours and race
Before we implode and forever loose face

Protect all our children as they are our world's tomorrow
Appease their hurt and diminish their sorrows

Determine a sentence if your prepared to take life
Why should you live and leave others in strife

If the punishment declares that you live behind bars
Innocent animals are caged they never left any scars

Curtail the conglomerates who believe they are higher
Ceiling their profits and limit their acquire

Before they mine, deforest or drill
A down payment to be paid to compensate any spill

Health care to be made free for one and all
For those without Dollar why should they fall

To have to pay for a child knocked down by a car
It's a disgrace in our society that it's come this far

Schooling for all from kindergarten to graduation
Even University no pupil donation

If our country desires to prosper for it's future grow
Our working taxes should be suffice to allow it to flow

In all our cities, villages and towns
Keep our kids of the streets before they become clowns

For every population ratio, community centres to be built
By conglomerate profits that fester their guilt

Jobs to be created for many tasks to be met
Like coastal corrosion and border control to be set

There are many vast lands on our planet we call earth
So much space to be used, so deploy it for it's worth

Why can't we build pipelines bringing water to parched lands
Run by the government, creating jobs with these plans

Go down the green road using what nature creates
Wind farms and wave energy and become her soul mate

The above could all happen because we voted them in
If they don't do what they say, it's political sin

For my perfect world I have shared my thoughts
Please enjoy my words to your table I've brought

Clean Up the Spills of Ills

The gulf oil spill… drilled from the depth of ills
A battle between money and men, power and perils
A quest to depopulate the world by the New World Order
A sect storming every sphere of our seas with oil disorder

The continuous extraction of oil and fossil fuel
Has turned our plain paradise to a haughty hell
What greed has done, heaven needs to measure
For with tears and torment they trade our treasure

Oil spill puts creatures of colors on slippery slope
Where thorns and thistles thrives… we can’t cope
With the woes and wants that tilts our treasured terrains
In the wake of Katrina, Rita and Wilma: hot hurricanes

Fishing and farming, shipping and shrimping…slipping,
While the cruel cabals are camping, cutting and clapping
Destroying the heirs and health of our environment
To get wares and wealth, without care and contentment

Are we at the mercy of these elites… illuminati
Who foil the trials and toils of our laden literati?
But for blocking decisive data and discoveries
We might now be using free energy devices

We crave a complete clean up of the Gulf oil spill
The galactic gear may take us to that healthy hill,
Our faith and future lies in a patriotic energy policy
Let rid this wailing world of this curse and conspiracy

Naivety

Nose pressed against glass, breathing fog onto the already hazy window,
A boy peered out.

He saw not the dreary buildings sat mournfully on withered streets,
Nor did he see the sluggish pace of those who bared marks of unfulfilled dreams.

Light of the Sun reflected in his eyes,
Blinding, protecting him from the world he knew not.

Gifted with the sight of positivity,
He had yet to see the world through anything other than the cloudy window of naivety.

My Own Psychedelic World

Blue skies filled with purple velvet clouds
Drifting around rock strewn mountains
Covered with dark green reptile skin
Houses of young virginal girls fill the trees
Naked they run through the leaves
Chased by birds with fire red wings
While blue tigers roam the world beneath
A half million people sway to an unsung song
The words of which no one knows
The notes of which no one hears
Yet everyone imagines it in their mind
And it is always the same
The tigers look for a bowl of milk
As the birds build nests in their massive jaws
And the naked virgins ride on their back
It is a world of my own creation
Created with the help of a little pill
But for now it is mine
It is where I choose to live
I know it will go away and I will never see it again
At least until the time I can find another little pill
Then I may see it again
And it will be my home

Premium Member A Most Beautiful Journey

In my many poems
Of a country so rare
Spare me a few minutes
As i take you there

We are Alba
The land of the Scots
Once we meet
We are forget me not

A nation so free
In this world we reside
Bravehearts
Oozing with pride

And the news of today
Confirms my write
For a train journey so beautiful
Has just been named, the worlds best sight

From Glasgow to Mallaig
Gorgeous lochs it does pass
On train journeys the world over
This is above first class

Over the Glenfinnan viaduct
Its the first of its kind
Made of modern concrete
It will blow your mind

The silver sands of Morar
Like gold dust in the mist
Whilst the Atlantic tides desire
They can't take, but they still persist

The train journey i talk about
In this land of mine
It runs from Glasgow to Mallaig
Its " The West Highland Line "

So my friends on the Soup
If you get the chance to travel
Visit my Braveheart land
And watch our beauty unravel

Premium Member Amazonia

Rain top canopy
Sea of green
Spread like a carpet
For any Amazon Queen

Meandering flows
Delta bound
Fresh and sea
River down

Indigenous tribes
Never seen
In tranquil peace
Below the green

Nature blessed
This basin of life
Diversity of species
Jaguar to wood lice

But this modern day
Even by the hour
Mans machines
Deforest, devour

What comes of the tribes
Their jungle zoo
As these world conglomerates
Do as they do

There has to be change
Before all greenery falls
We have to adjust
Before the bell tolls

The nations so might
At the table sit down
Preserve this wonder
With World Heritage Crown

Amazonia
Modern and tribal
If we continue to maim
Raped suicidal

Rainy Day

Through closed eyes i see the world.
for all the strength and weaknesses ,
that haven't even begun
while my eyes lie still .
i can feel the pain and disgust of what could be
and as my eyes rest, the world starts war
war on love and war on revenge
the sky grows dark,
and the clouds take a stroll.
its another stormy day, because my eyes are closed.
when it starts to rain , it really pours
2 blinks from my eyes
and my world is now flooded.

Premium Member Our Hidden Link

In many a wood
Covering the American countryside
Their lives a link
In hidden reside

Taller than man
With features of old
Black hairs cover
This naked and bold

Shy but alert
They know their surround
Modern man
And how we sound

More and more
We close in on their space
In their forest of green dark
Its truly their place

What will man do
When he drives them out
Into a world unknown
Their world without

Will we have the compassion
To leave them alone
Or destroy their existence
And leave them dethroned

Premium Member From Hades He Came

He of the depths
To the surface he came
Horned demon from Hades
To cleanse your surface with flame

This beast of the dark
Surfaces to spread his plight
To enhance his black
Extinguish your light

Your skies will become red
His heathens will march
Your world as you know it
Will become torched and scorched

His cloven children
Will spread like the flames
For you will be eternally dark
Kneel down and proclaim

Chant to your master
The Dark King has come
When your chanting is over
Your new world has began
