A far away rumbling draws near,
An eerie calm, ensues all things,
Remain still.
Silence reigns, nature holds,
It's breath,
Carried upon shifting winds
Hear soft whispers calling, beware.
Heavens valets brake open,
Thunder quakes,
Lightening flashes splitting the,
Clouds apart.
Castaways refugee, descends,
Pleading,
Do not forsake me.
Death's shadows dance to and fro.
A crumpled figure lies...

Angels In the Abyss
everywhere i turn and everywhere i twist from the east into the west...
everywhere i look i see angels in the abyss

in pitch blackness or on dead end roads
in pure darkness or in bottomless holes
from lambs to wolves
with force or finesse
everywhere i look i see angels...

What's not to love?
  What's not to marvel at?
   At the mauve lilac dusk?
    At the smiling crescent moon?
     Moon glowing up above?
       Moon of extraordinary beauty
  ...

Oh, Dream Sweet Dreams
The touch of cold enters my life,
the hands of time move faster
than the speed of light;
the spinning of the world
takes on a new meaning
as I lie awake in the
pitch blackness of the night.
What was, will never be again,
what is to come, still a mystery;
the night...

Incandescence
From the pitch-blackness of the night
city lights glow like yellow stars
gorging dollops of dark matter
from an artificial universe.
Where luminescence disappears
then reappears differently
in magnitude and location
Each having their own tales to tell
both real and imaginary.
Dawn arrives and they fade from view
their nightly relevance worthless
in a world...

In the Upper Floor of the Scottish Rite Cathedral - Part 2
The truth was, we very well could go back,
But there was sudden authority and determination in his voice
It was the first time I ever respected Benjamin
The first time and only that I ever liked holding his dirty boy hands

“Well let’s go, scaredey cat!” I giggled,...

The Rock
Concrete cells,
Solid iron doors,
Solitary confinement,
Cold hard floors.
Pitch blackness,
No shred of light,
Hardened criminals,
Lose their fight.
First night terrors,
Blood curdling screams,
No escape,
From nightmarish dreams.
Sleepless nights,
Tedious days,
Lowest of the low,
Contemplate their ways.
Cell doors slamming,
Echoing off the walls,
Horrendous memories,
Now haunt these halls.
Attempted escapes,
Lost innocent lives,
The history of Alcatraz,
Is cold, but...

Imagine That
8/16/16

This world has still not yet been fully exlpored and mapped
Imagine that

Pages on the original bible aged
While many lifeforms were unable to reach the final stage
Due to unexpected disasters such as tidal waves

Objects now buried, that use to be on the surface
Waiting to be found,...

Where the Worm Never Dies
where the worm never dies and the fire's never quenched...foolish sinner souls stay
drowning and drenched in streams of blood, sulfer and sweat...there is no escape from eternitys snares, traps, and webs
like rats and roaches and mice and men in a volcanic river of rage
1000 times a day...

Premium Member Full Darkness, No Stars
You walk outside and are struck
by the velvety blackness
you recall with bitterness
the night bringing that black buck

Yes he wooed her away
carried her off in darkness
no stars just a pitch blackness
in his bower with her lay

It was full darkness, no stars
my heart filled with bleakness
body shaking...

Winter Has a Face Contest
She wakes from a dream, dripping with tears of sweat pouring down her face. Her long blonde hair is pasted to her forehead as she sits up in her bed. The clock reads 3:03am. Her heart is pounding rhythmically to the ticking...

BLACK IS NOT NEGATIVE--

And just what is blackness;
And why is it colourless
And what is blackness
Nothing
Zero a non-hero
Empty
Not whole
Nothing
Darkness
And what is blackness;
Color wash in the dark
Color lost
The property
Quality of being black in color.
Complete darkness;
The absence of any light.
" plunged into pitch blackness"
Belonging to human...

Withholding

Here let me paint you a drawing
My skin crawling
Something stirring and calling
As the leaves begin falling
It's appalling
That people are always squabbling
And gossiping
Yet another mauling
It's no longer enthralling
The temperature of the water freezing or scalding
People aging, greying and balding
This process has no halting

Most spills their guts...

Moonless
Cried out eyes crimson,
The only roses to my valentine
The mind’s shut up
The heart’s stirred up
Tearing through pain and doubt
Broken and shutout
To find the moon rock
Gone on a permanent lunar walk

Perfect silence
Noiseless
Motionless quietness
Emotionless stillness
An ambiance of loneliness
A quote to the...

Ask me why there is no one left
I will tell you what
came afer the storm.
it was forever calm

because there was no-one left
Wind stopped blowing
fires stopped burning
Sunami stooped sunami-ing

Fish floating, boats capsided.
chapel for sea gulls now a
light house,burning
guiding...
