When Light needed a body to behold, and color to kiss,
as Darkness dreamnt to die in the dawn of depth,
when Soul lustered to lust for learning, and being learned,
as blood bespoke to bones for building a star of flesh,
when Time needed the umbrage of it's ubiquity to be understood,
the moment texture tempted touch to tease with a thousand sensations,
when laws of love sought a language to express the extremes of it's lips,
as romance rampaged through the ravishings of famished hearts,
when the seduction of sorrow made heros of loving men and women,

When Justice appealed to the instincts of intent for inscriptions of innocence,
as bravery found battle in basic questions of survival and conquest,
when war demanded a metaphor in the terror of it's diligent destruction,
as Faith found resolve in seconds small along with giant gestures,
Death singing melancholy for sympathy and Life haughty upon it's horizon,
when Angels chose to wear albatross of gold to feel the rue of rogues,
as the most perfect woman ambushed the ideals of rumored beauty,
when God wanted imagination to create immaculate reality
Poetry began, born in the instant of forever Art,
because, the only promise of a Poet, is Passion -

Premium Member The Pillar of Our Love

Across the table gazing in your eyes
I see the bright reflections of our love,
and like a sweet duet we harmonize
with soulful melodies of mourning dove.

Our love is ever present in my mind;
these feelings that to you I do impart.
For not a better lover could I find;
you will remain forever in my heart.

You touch my hand, my pulsing passions rise;
My ever fervid fantasies take flight.
I wonder if this leads to love’s surprise,
and tangled sheets on sultry, summer night.

My love you are the bedrock of my soul;
the pillar which forever makes love whole.

A Pillar of Strength

when I look at you —
I see a pillar of strength

who's toils and tribes are hidden
like the deepest of dark secrets

destroy you? you won't allow it
know matter what — you stand strong

with shoulders broad — taking on the world
time and time again

with feet planted...back against the wall
sometimes reeling— but you never fall

a man's —man — standing up to adversity
you've earned your master's from hard knocks university

the world has shown you no mercy
still— you rise to every conflict

prepared to do battle
spirit sometimes shaken—but never rattled

with fist of iron
and heart of gold

the troubles you've endured
will never be told

cause although life's journey has been a rough ride
you've got your pride

a spiritual man
who will always stand—BOLD

through it all...

Pillar of Woman

Pillar of Awesomeness
You are Woman
Toiling away the long hot day
Making sure of this and that
Hasty movements more graceful than those of any dancer
Pillar of Love
You are Woman
Tending to your brood with attention and care
Making sure your men are fed, clothed, bathed
Looking lovely as ever in your cute green shirt that matches your eyes
Pillar of Diligence
You are Woman
Learning to NOT accept no for an answer
Finding ways to make pennies stretch
Never giving up hope in the dreams you've set for yourself
Pillar of Strength
You are Woman
Doing what you can to make my life seem brighter
Asking nothing in return
Worth more than any diamond, my sister, my friend
Epitome of Woman
You are my Pillar

Pillar

My pillar a dying log,
had stood firm through tireless tides.
My pillar a shrunken log,
her skin depicts all her life journeys.
My pillar shall break soon,
She promised not to break so soon.
With grace i had polish her frail skin,
Fed her all chance had granted me.
Her ground cracks and shall stable her no more,
If thee perish, curse the soil and its greedy mammoths.

Premium Member I Will Be Your Pillar of Strength

Verse One:

The world is weary of its toll
Grieves with each death diminishes
There is no shame in crying
Tears and sadness fall to the living souls
Mood as gray as the sky, which the sun finishes

Chorus:

Like the horizon meets the ember sky
I will be your pillar of strength
I will not let you stumble and fall
While tears stream down and you're alone.
I will stand by

Verse Two:

Through the darkest day the sun will hide
As they bow their heads low
So no one will look their way and say hello
They wait for promises that never show
Going much too far to deny

Chorus:

Like the horizon meets the ember sky
I will be your pillar of strength
I will not let you stumble and fall
While tears stream down and you're alone.
I will stand by

Verse Three:

Losses are not just those that have died
Hard as it is, a heart so ready to believe
As failing family and friends are tossed aside
To leave and grieve,
Slowly collapsing upon their knees

Chorus:

Like the horizon meets the ember sky
I will be your pillar of strength
I will not let you stumble and fall
While tears stream down and you're alone.
I will stand by

Unmoving Pillar

At times I feel like I’m surrounded by this strange force
it’s like the worlds resting on my shoulders
And it’s weight is trying to pin me down…
But no matter how much pressure I face I never give in
Because I know that although my situation seems daunting
With God’s help I will prevail!!

Yes the enemy tries to test me
Blitzing me with hail trying to Blur my vision
But with God’s Constant provision
I move forward each and every day
Although there are times when I am Staggering

Swaying side to side
through life’s rapid motions and riptides
Constantly taking on water yet I always stay afloat
The reason behind this is
I’m Just a vessel
God’s the captain of this ship
Guiding me to a Harbor known as salvation
Placing me on that narrow path
Rescuing my soul from eternal damnation
It’s the reason for my spirits Jubilant celebration

But why is it that around the world doubt God
Just because his existence isn’t something they can define
Open up your eyes and realize all he has done for you
Open up your mind for a moment and be transformed by his refining love grace and mercy
He will always welcome you with open arms
And its only in his arms that you know your free from all harm

Pillar of Light

Lucent light shine through
my anguish
self captured treasures.
Purify my existence
awakening pleasures!

Release all-held onto
I must leave behind
to be at peace
my core is present
and centralized.

Behold awareness
perceive foresight
embrace love and forgiveness
enlightened by my spirit guide!

The Pillar of Time Ll

Yeah left the pages of an unfinished life on hold,
Waiting for the help, to I learn I had to do it myself,
Now I'm writing the pages with fat facts that most be under attack while I'm laughing at the end who told,
Who slipping sticking with Sara soon Witcher,
What's happening to the truth that's differ more and more,
Everyone trying to connect each four, connect each now the rich is still rich as the poor is poor,
What's happening to this world?
What happen to the chapter's untold, stories of history blurr lost,
Today I wanted my love free and myself happy.

The Pillar Falls

The Pillar Falls
the pillar, an act of craftsmanship
solid, festooned and decorated
beautifully designed and plated,
its each brick hooked and slated,
stood as proud attraction in the chapel.
then, aged with seasons and weathers
craven, cracked and dilapidated
dreadfully deserted and haunted,
its each edge blunt, surface perforated,
fell into a pile of shapeless rubble

Pillar To Post

Shove us from pillar to post
What a roast, what a boast
Beat us black and blue
Blood on wall, stick like glue
Wrench hands, bend knee
Can't see, can't see
Pillar to post, pillar to post
What a brag, what a boast?

Crushed ego, bruised eye, choked neck
End up like a listless wreck
Brainless, thoughtless, speechless
My body, their violence
My pain, their gain
Concealing the truth
With lies, more lies and lies again
who's the victim?
Who's the victor?
You know, I know
They write the story
But we tell the tale

Pillar of Strength

It was tougher along the way
More than climbing up a slippery hill
I almost threw in the towel anyway
But I knew I had to cling to my will

Inner scars are what I sustained
With a broken soul in a pain
Positivity was maintained
I had to focus on the main

Through the rough patch you were present
And never even dared to dismiss
Therefore I offer the present
For all you have done I will miss

Thanks for not being mean
All I said is what I mean

Most Precious

I can close my eyes,
It's weird how still you are the last thought on mind.
I say, 'you and me'
I say, ' still with you'
It's weird how I carry your name forward each and every passing day
Despite all conflicts
Most precious

I was an emotional high;
'Emotional high,' I said
My words not yours
Something you couldn't get off without experiencing
Whatever love
It's already done and done
Your grand scheme of plans,
Did it all work out,
Most precious?

Were you land?
Were you ground?
Were you earth?
Were you stone?
Were you pillar?
Most precious

When you left love,
It felt like the earth had crumpled from underneath my feet
No footing
No ground
No standing
Nothing to grasp much less hold
Love you were cruel
Most precious

I stood there on nothing
Cry, I cried
Weep, I wept
Thought and contemplated
Scared to death,
Love was I going to fall?
After all most precious you were still precious
Probably still are
Probably will still be
Most precious

Love I realised,
You were the ocean,
And underneath you I drowned unaware.
You were gravity,
And under you I became grounded
Without you, most precious
From under I came
Ashore I arrived
Love, I was lighter even.

Pillar

As i breathe, in my conquered castle left with no rusty dime
I might be of no value than a stinking body
Lying with no memory in its jagged skull staring moody
Alas! Am still one of em pillar, that holds to kill time.

If you doubt, let the sudden whirlwind sweep me farther
Whether imbalance wouldn't consume my position wither,
Thus if i lag with my friendly mug of palm wine, rolling my kiff-kiff laughter
Do not deposit your tank of lank spit on my face nor my spirit with your tongue,
slaughter.

For, i know, must buy wrapper for the ranting and panting woman, and loaf for the
yelling children
And send kolanut to the neighbouring brethren
But Man must not trespass those gods' barricade
For the stamp of Hierarchy cannot from our Being fade.

Till one is gone, and another rebuilds the fallen Jerusalem
For, creator baked all for a purpose and must not bear castigation emblem.
