The Worry Dolls

There is a tiny box of dolls
On the shelf by my bed
Each doll is for one worry that
May swirl inside my head

The box was given to me by
A friend, whom I adore
It started me to wondering
Just what is Worry for?

Does it serve any function as
I purpose through each day?
Will it relieve my deepest pain
Or guide me on my way?

Can it lesson my misery
Would it minimize strife?
And, will it add one single hour
To the end of my life?

The answer to my question is
Of course, "NO", it cannot!
So, Worry has no place in me
No victory it's wrought

The dolls-- I'll keep them anyhow
And use them differently
I'm sure my good friend wouldn't mind
A new idea, you see:

I'll pluck each miniature doll
From its box every night
And thank the Lord for giving me
A more eternal sight

Yes, with each petite figure I
Shall count one blessing too
And pray before I sleep that He'll
Make anxious hearts like new!

Duh!!!!!

Its been two years since I sent you packing,
I don't want you, what part of that code are you having trouble cracking?
If I don't call you, ever, don't you think there's a reason?
 When I say, 'I'm through, I want a divorce.", I'm not teasing.

Days turn to weeks, weeks to months, months to years,
I'm done being used, taken advantage of, and shedding tears.
How dumb do you have to be to not get the clue?
I don't call or come by, because I don't want you!!!!!

You'll never change, with your selfish, conniving ways.
Lazy, addicted, worthless and bring home strays.
And I don't mean cats or dogs, I mean those nasty girls.
To think where you've been makes me want to hurl.

Quit calling, leave me alone, I don't ever want you back.
You can't change my mind, especially since you have no tact.
I'm better off alone, than with the likes of someone like you.
Any chance you had of staying my husband, you forever blew!

So go ahead, drink another beer, smoke a cigarette and suck that glass Devil's dick.
The sound of your voice, the thought of you touching me, makes me sick.
Find someone who can put up with your nasty attitude and your far fetched lies.
I'm making it clear, WE'RE OVER, so why are you so surprised?

The Little Things

The world out there so big they say.
The one inside grows smaller each day.
Where once stood the crowd I knew.
Empty space and a remaining few.
The dreams so grand, with limits none.
At my feet I find not one.
Where the endless expanse of days.
Spread before us like crashing waves.
Now a night that draws us nigh.
Time to sleep that gentle sigh.
So sweep up the memories, throw out the lies.
Hush now my friend your frightened cries.
It was so sweet all I tried.
So scatter me far and scatter me wide.
Its true, no man ever went so far.
Travel by foot, bike and clanging car.
The people, places and things I’ve known.
The joy, my children, to my heart have shown.
What man should lament his having to go?
For it merely be what we are born to do.

Ain't life a wonderment???

Premium Member Eternity Calls To Me

I just saw an eagle
Soar across the plain
And a dozen sea gulls
My daughters roof do claim

The wind is blowing fiercely
But the cloud above Casper Peak
Moves ever so slowly
Like a cat as it does creep

The jagged rocks piled high
Atop the pasture ridge
Speak to me of eons
Since the glacier age

The wind, the rain, the dust, the dirt
Have left scars upon their faces
But to me it matters not
For I am looking for their traces

I dig among the crumbled pile
And on my face I wear a smile
For there I find a rock so old
I can almost feel the cold

A petrified piece of wood
Tells of where a forest stood
But as I look all around
No more pieces can be found

From where did this piece come
If I dig deep will I find bone
I gaze north, south, west and east
As I stand atop this awesome ridge

The dinosaur, the mastodon
Where pterodactyls fly at dawn
Or was it later in the game
When man did live in a cave

If I could only find the place
Where the stone tools they did make
Or maybe even find a wheel
My curiosity to heal

But then that would not be true
I'd have to try and find just who
And up above God just smiles
"Be patient you'll know in a little while"

Take the High Road

The lord will fight for me and I will hold my peace
And I will hold my peace and be at rest.
No matter what the critics say the lord knows best
And he will get me through each trial and test.

I will always have difficulties no matter how hard I try
But now that I know the lord no reason to ask why?
No need to avenge myself, no need to vindicate
He’ll be on my case in his own time he’s never too late.

I will take the high road and be a peacemaker
Extending peace to all in a positive way.
If my peace is refused that’ll be their loss
But it will remain with me at any cost.

Evening Grace

Sitting down at the kitchen table,
A warm plate of freshly cooked
Food before me - pausing
To prepare to give thanks for the day,
I all of a sudden see that ease
Has crept in – all on its own –
And begun to find a home
In the body of my life,
Without me knowing it had arrived.

Breathing in, I feel
Tiny tendrils of peace
Twirling and opening out,
Taking root, in the new found
Space in my day - in my heart -
Spreading warm comfort
Throughout - and - into my core,
Bringing with it ripples
Of expanding quiet joy
As I breathe out.

Feeling already full, bowing my head
I take hold of the loving hand
Reaching out for mine,
In silent gratitude, I welcome
This easy peace, and my Self, home.

The Call of Death

Why summon me so soon?
Undone is one or the other drill
There’s unfinished job’s platoon
I’ave not been through the mill

I’ave not met my heart’s demand
There’re desolate hearts to be solaced
    I haven’t fulfilled His Command
            There are demons brazenfaced

There are tears to be wiped of faces
Devils of inequity and lust to be slain
        Those are devouring human races
Someone must rise for evil to contain

Streets experiencing carnage
Brutality, fanaticism, suicide bombing
And human souls in bondage
      Cheatings, deceits and swindling

The seeds of love that are sown
Are still waiting to sprout
     The flowers of goodwill grown
 Are for water wailing out

Grant me time O healer of pains
Let me do some of the undone
Lest God on my return complains
I’m an unwanted, unworthy son

For Such a Time As This

Lord as we celebrate the freedom of our land
So graciously protected by your great and mighty hand
Would you reach down from above into the depths of me
Release your perfect peace within and set my spirit free
There is a constant battlefield raging in my soul
Please saturate me in your blood and make me fully whole
I know you have great plans for me this is what you said
Please resurrect my buried dreams and raise them from the dead
Your blessings and your promises I don't want to miss
I know you've created me for such a time as this

My Conquistador

Evening starts with crystal shadows of engrossed love,
Vanished on the second street I feel no touch,
Everything that surrounds me is going there above,
Ready to display all the splendid air as such,
Yet I do not know what lies there in the sky.

Traveling farther into this vivid epic dream
I feel my arm is magnetized by his embrace.
Miracle I still exist, I am there, I do not scream.
Easily I fall into this eternal space.

“I will always fall in love with you on and on.”

Lonely I am no more, since I had found my one true star.
One that shines over billion galaxies with pure light,
One that is always besides me and leaves me with no scar,
Knows me and protects me like he is my strong knight.

“And we will be forever together
Time is just for the two of us.”

Yet I do not know his name but I love him more
Over the mountains, over the black-blue see,
Underneath the earth, right into the core!

My conquistador you have conquered me all,
You and your soul ready to devour my entire tree.

Gorgeous is this consequence of my choosing
Rather inspirational than a matter of loosing,
Enjoying mystical minutes with my one true half
You are the one who always makes me laugh.

Stones and iron can’t erase this eternal feeling
Thrusting them on us won’t change a single thing,
Once the door has opened everything is healing
None can stop this craving thought of spring.
Entire life will start on Earth one more time.

“I will always fall in love with you again and again.”

“And we will be forever happy
Misery will never come to us.

Constantly I want from you just peaceful music
One that comes from the bottom of your heart,
Million kisses received made me ecstatic, so realistic,
People will say that what we have is so fantastic,
Love, happiness eternal gift that lies upon our inside
Emerges to other space unseen somewhere dark,
Time shall be forever on our trusty side,
Everything will be tremendously good if we are together.

Well Trippy

All the things that pass us threw
In and out it turns the way u didnt want it to
You sit trembling on what to say
Its to late its time to comtemplate
All the times we had and now in my heart
Walking away from all this trouble
Its all one big bubble you burst u feel cursed
Something is wrong u get out that bong
You want it all to go away its all i ever say
It never ends some things dont mend
and wont pretend
Ill always think of things u said to me
Its all in my mind u see
I write down my thoughts
to get it all out no doubt
Anger building up
Its all out of line its just a sign nows never the time
Its like an unsolved crime
When is the time to shine
Throw out everything u got
Connecting those dots
Something noone will ever figure out
Makes me wanna pout
Theres just to much trouble
Notice how much you love the person u fought with
You thought your mom would of taught u this
But its all to much trouble

Music Is Food To My Soul

Music is more than a passion I enjoy,
It is food to my very soul!
From the time I was a little boy,
It helped me maintain self-control.

Music kickstarts several passions inside me.
I love to sing and dance to a groovy melody.
R & B makes me wanna indulge in a steamy romance.
Hip-hop makes me wanna grab my girl and dance!

I can feel the beat, the bass booming from the speakers.
Like an athelete, I can show you some moves in these sneakers!
I can salsa, two-step or even break dance!
Music makes me smile and puts me in a trance.

My music must be played loud at all times.
The sounds put me in the mood to write some rhymes!
Some lyrical content inspires my writing hand.
Music was heaven sent almost like a direct command!

I wonder without music where I'd be.
I enjoy ballads and even rock and roll.
But as long as I got a melody,
Then it's food to my soul....

My Road To Peace- Part One

I had no way to ask for this, for you.
I was unable to take any precautions.
I was innocent in this decision
That you found yourself lost in.

Yet I was blamed anyway,
The prosecuted victim.
Those white jackets called you wrong
But you didn’t want to listen.

Remorse filled you, in you was me.
When you gave in to it at last.
Certain I’d be the end to your life,
Forcing me to play the role I was cast.

Growing strong against all odds
As you pumped into me your many escapes.
I learned exactly how good a mother
A selfish drug addict makes.

Through clouds of sweet smelling smoke
High as I learned to crawl and walk.
Through unfed affection and neglect,
I learned how to talk.

Only to learn that screaming real words
Didn’t make one bit of a difference.
Between us, a thousand miles or beside you
Was emotionally the same distance.

I loved you with every breath I took
For so many years, you were all I had.
But you shattered me with you so many times.
As a baby I was already tired of being sad.

Not even finished with being a child,
You paraded me as your little adult.
You never believed me when I told you they hurt me
So I never knew that it wasn’t my fault.

You let me pay your debts for you
Never a thought to what I lost.
You fed me to things you should have protected me from.
Carelessly out the door, my innocence was tossed.

What's Love

What's love if not a thunder which burns you to the ground,
a roar of bear nowhere,
a taxi to the underground,
to the underworld,
a senseless sound which binds you,
binds you to trust the other one.
It is like a million rounds of bullets going through your chest
or like a feather falling from a cliff.
Oh, love - untrusted thing,
show me the smile to make you mine.
Ring the bell for my heart just now
and the sound shall live forever.
Speak to me of trees and bees
speak to me of strength and choice.
guide me on the way to Paradise,
place me in your garden of certainty,
and teach me how to arise,
take me to serenity...
Show me the smile to make you mine.

They Always Say They Love You

Laying in the bath last night I thought of my past,
A previous relationship that did not really last,
Told me she loved me with all her will and mind,
As she told others the same lines of the same kind.

I dug in her purse and found dirty pictures and a note,
All the things she said to me were not unique or remote...
So take my advice they claim you are the love of my life,
Dig around further you might find that dagger or that knife....

Waiting For a Change

Why do I get burned?
It’s the lesson I frequently try to learn
No matter what I breathe in and forgive
I only have 1 life to live
One chance to make a Change
And waiting for it

Why cant I fit in?
I am all I’ve ever been
I’m different that makes a threat
Being different makes them break their sweat
So mean that its wrong
But every one stay strong
Some day its going to change
But for now we’re waiting for it

Why do I care so much?
Because your not like other people and such
You’re a caring person
Remember this
Times get rough
But know when to say enough
And then know it will change
But until then we’ll wait for it

Why do you hate me so?
I cant believe you stooped so low
But I will come up laughing
Just by looking at the surroundings
Having fun while you wait for me to get sad
I’m not going to so sorry so bad
I’m not going to change
So you can sit there and wait

Why cant we all get along?
All we need is a song
We could live in peace if we didn’t need drama
Dealing with that makes me want to go into a comma
Just waiting for it to change I will sit
And just wait

What will happen when I die?
You will fall in to the sky and fly
Feel the wind flow past you
Washing away all of your fear
And erasing every tear
Knowing there would be no more hating
And knowing that there would be no more waiting

You would finally find your change
