Welcome To Eden Picture Perfect Countryside Village Serenity
The waters trickling under the
crossing bridge grows ever dormant

And on the one and only discernable
route into this village languishing beneath
there is a old rickety swinging sign that says

" Welcome to Eden "

We trust you enjoy your stay

Where the church choir in the district
can be muffled...

Just Breathe
five days of ecstasy
followed by seven days of anguish
trying to catch his breath
his ghosts, get there first
and he crashes

as reality sets in,
sadness overwhelms

memories scattered throughout his room
serve as bittersweet comfort
forcing a smile, while on the verge tears
he begins to pick up the pieces left...

Sands of Time.....
A full moon descends beyond the distant dunes
freshly scented air breezing palm as desert breath
calm are the whispers upon a much cooling surface
momentary is the solitary life facing certain death.....

As I sit 'neath infinities blanket of stars
sifting sand through my fingers and hands
I ponder those...

Soonish
In the not so distant future, just can't say when although
I think about you time and time again. Soon we'll meet
becoming the best of friends, you are my Godsend.

You'll probably laugh when I try to croon for your lovely
heart I come to swoon even though...

Earths Destruction By Man
Is Mans Destruction by Earth

In the not to distant future
when the Clouds are gone forever
And an Omen is reality at best

Technology, and greed for more
Resources not replenished
beginning of the end of Human quest

When the skies no longer cater
to the feathered ones of Nature
and the food...

We Are Pollution

WE ARE POLLUTION
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In the beginning, its said we were just dust,
Conjecture or, simply words I don't trust.
Even the big bang theory is not a positive must.
For the truth in all manner of things, I do lust.
I know it's out there, we've just scratched the crust.
I...
Premium Member Self-Destruction
Long ago in the not too distant future, whence temporal tense was but a phase,
I found myself afloat inside my head, from where I feared I'd fall within its haze.
Trapped by the door on the ceiling of my cranium's oubliette,
Where light had broken yonder...
Fakery
You see them all the time,
the Stepford wife
and her counterpart,
the bronzed over, buffed high sheen,
man bun walking in skinny jeans,
so tight they squeak...
HIPSTER as they pass on by.
With a flower in the beard,
the artisans musk hinting the air,
bees wax soap and a...
Dare Listen
            by Odin Roark
Time chooses to whisper,
Having endured shouting decades,
A species’ feigned listening,
Maelstrom's obsessive noise-making.
Still persistent
Is but a parade,
A just married tin can raucous
Tied to mankind's bumper.
How tenuous one’s duration.
Yesterday…
Sitting inside time's tree...
To Myself - On My Birthday - May, 18
Two decades plus something and counting
My life in this world is taking shape finally
The Twists and turns of the world I'm now understanding
And I'm beginning to treat life more maturely
Fast forward to the not so distant future
I see myself a married and established being
Instilling...
In a Perfect World
In a Perfect World, the world would have to be just so - perfect!
On the sixth day of creation God said to his Son, ALL things are
perfectly good - in both heaven and on earth!
The Father created this globe, called earth, perfect and serene,
And...
As days go, this has not been one of the best
But after giving myself a good talking to
I've realized not all days are created equal
It's the lunatic fringe that are wreaking havoc
Ask anyone on the street and I'm certain
99.9% are peace loving folks who...
Vale - Victor Stanley Jones
You were born in Clermont, Queensland on December, twenty-four,
Away back circa eighteen sevn'ty-two.
Edward Jones now had a fifth child, whom his dear wife Anna bore,
Their second son and both were proud of you.
They'd migrated out from Ireland back in eighteen...
Football Not Coming Home
Standing on the shoulder's of giant's
Where we over reliant
To place our faith in the footballing God's
When the final whistle drew deep intakes of breath
And the crowd stood silent
Our race was run
And the scoreline revealed we had sadly not overcome
For us the end...
