Look Up

Hey children! Listen, I miss your zeal.
The world inside your mobile is surreal.
Look up!
See, I have fixed stronger glasses on my windows,
Get hold of your cricket kit, come back on the street,
I miss watching your games.
I won’t mind, smash all my window panes.

Hackneyed messages,
Dollops of unalloyed twaddle
Tides of trifling emotions!
Baby! You are locked inside your mobile.
Look up!
See, the stadium looks so barren!
Without your mischiefs and fun,
Your irritating jibber- jabber and nonstop run.
I won’t mind, come on burst my eardrum.

Your friends, your pictures, games, tweets and stories
You live in a fantasy world, that’s absolutely unsavoury.
Step back into this beautiful life, create beautiful memories.
Look up!
Don’t waste your time and energy.
Live for a cause, get up and push back your lethargy.
Open the notebook of your life,
Fill it with love, fame and prosperity.
No matter what! You shall thrive.
Don’t be a slave to mobile,
Life isn’t a game!
Dear! You have to survive, mobiles exists just to give a little respite!

It is thy wanton gestures that contrive inside long auburn
curls -
Wherefore to diminish the pleas of a warm, lustful
breeze!
For though gilded rays shall grace all thy sunlit days
Tis Moonstrucks cast beams, your mischiefs,
That did so deceive.

Happily ye wander through Midnights velvet vales...
Thus to bathe in the still of deep glades shimmering pools;
Gently smile as the White Hart confuses at the Nightjar,
Laugh joyfully as he gleefully barks within a Huntresses
muse.

Whence, entwining abouts your lithe-liken limbs,
Enchanting currents that confound upon like curvaceous
streams:-
Flawlessly proportioned, highbred, temperate form
Of palest earthborn Athenian figurine.

And ere those coy sighs should but just once countenance
Mortal compromise
Through your countless ages of fair queens and fabled kings -
Then, at some singular point in trickling sands spatial time,
If my heart beat against thine...wouldst thy charge me astride
Great Pegasusus wings?

So recline thou, betwixt sharp earth and Heavens eternal
skies,
Thoust art serenaded by forlorn winds that forsakenly
Beseech upon your divine name -
For the raging fires of burning stars were lit to blaze
In thine eyes
By thee fearful architect who moulded immortal clay
To thy perfectly sculptured frame!

Abuelo

Kind,
Strong,
Sweet,
Smart,
Handsome,
Amazing,
And everything good there is;
and if there are bad things that he had or did,
I don’t recall.
He was the only one I truly loved,
Really from the bottom of my heart.
I never felt so much warmth,
And real,
Genuine kindness from anyone.
He was my partner in crime,
My best friend in all of my adventures and mischiefs.
He understood me by just looking into my eyes,
As I understood him.
I never had to talk about my problems,
For he understood what I needed without me having to say.
He would always bet on me,
Even when I wasn’t betting on myself,
Which would by feeling how he believed in me,
Made me believe too.
He made me want to excel and be a better person.
Even though I let everyone down,
Every day of my life,
I still feel he wasn’t disappointed.
He was proud of me.
He loved me,
Amazingly,
He really loved me,
With flaws and all,
He never criticised me.
He was my favourite person in the universe.
I was the best part of me when I was with him;
And he took that with him when he left,
He is an inspiration to me,
And if not for myself and those around me,
It will be for him that I will strive to reach my goals.

Goodbye Kiss

Declined and beaten
Unsure and wasted
It all happened in that day
And I suppressed it to that very night
Where I breathed regret and spoke love
You rejected me
Rejected my valuable offer
As I held the stories I wanted you to read
And the events I wanted to share
You ignored me with your callous looks
When I said I love you
And I said it with all my heart
Please kiss me goodbye
This is over
Do not discuss it any further
You said no
It isn’t over
When I saw the hatred and heartlessness
In your eyes
I stopped trying to get the goodbye kiss
I walked away
Why do u do this
Who do want me to cry?
As you left carelessly and
I heard your footsteps fading
I started to cry softly
I started to weep away my heart
To wipe my tears and start another day
Forget the burden and displeasure
Postpone the pain to that very night
To start a day, leaving my mischiefs behind
With another smile opening the door of fakeness
But living with a heavy heart and twisted smile
Just to see you hurt me again

Swords Speak

Swords speak brittle metal thrusts
 singing a song in the wind by touch and lost trust;
blade upon blade clanging the swish of empty points
deeply cut for glory and honor now disjoint.

The sword speaks forged in metallic shields
  shaped and tapered to steeled pricking yields;
sword smith tamahagane billets delivery
quenched in fire and tempered chivalry.

Swords speak sharp yet to the death
the very depths and blood letting breaths
for love, for country, brothers of courage, fear and fires
fighting for Gods and goddesses, rulers and empires.

It is the brothers, fathers and sons slipping out of place
bound to stand bold and listen to the forgotten embrace
of time when men were free to let the swords speak bold
no longer so but may yet be as they grow gray and old.

Free people are all brothers
 at the very start
then in some discorded word
find swords will resolve the hatred spark.

Deep the wounds cut and slicing
but words are no longer vocalized politely
only the sharpness and the glint
of the sword that hears and feels its bloodstained tint.

Rhonda invited some guest for Evening tea.
Sandwiches, scones n cakes made her glee.
Lil Sam was not allowed, his mind mischiefs
He hides two mice in Nanny's kerchief.

The Tongue's Mystery

The tongue's mystery

The heart's backdoor of the laughing stock
In his furtive,serpentine tongue lodges
The tongue straightaway of the highbrow, brainiac
In his beating, locked up heart camouflages

Many a foot does stumble, vacillate and actually fall
Withstand against all the odds, above all
A lapsus does incapacitate and intention reveal
Prompts irreparable mischiefs elusive to heal

Legitimate ! A tongue isn't in itself a flinty bone
Yet could fragment relics doubtable to atone.

True Myth

TRUE MYTH

It's you I love
It's you I adore
Aww! Why dost thou keep me ignore?
I thought you gave it a second thought.
I thought me you loved before
Not knowing it was just for friendship and nothing more.

My pain, My Relief
Memories of you wanders in my mind.
I haven't slept a wink
I keep me awake just to see you sleep
Your enchanting nearness to me
Like a heavenly Bliss.
How I so crave for your kiss.

It's real,
It's genuine,
It's love.
It's you I love, my belove
Yes I do feel the pressure
I seek ye not for only pleasure
You're my treasure.

My Agony, My Relief
They say "Men don't cry"
Yet over you I grief
How I wonder why me you've caused
So much mischiefs.
Love me for once, even just a brief.

You're superfine
My sunshine,
My shimmering wine.
My adoration for thee is divine.
Thou dost labour because of thee
What's mine is surely thine.

I'm neat not rough.
I'm gentle, I bluff.
I'm noble, I don't puff
Finesse I have enough
Oh! I wonder why to love me is tough
My Relief,
All I have felt is pain
Alas! What will be my gain?
If all what we shared was all in vain.

Premium Member Ask Me

Are you a little sad, my friend?
Didn't mean to do that
Say the wrong thing
But sometimes I just want to speak the truth
because "truth will set you free"
Isn't that from the Bible?
Aha (John 8:32)
So always start with the truth
And end with the truth
What is truth?
Truth is anything you feel, touch, see
What is not truth is what you think, hear, and say
We are not truth
God is truth
We are truthful
because we want to
not we have to
We don't want to be truthful to everyone
only to certain ones
I am just kidding
Be truthful to everyone
And you will see
that you will be truthful to God
because God is an extension of someone - anyone
If you can't be truthful to that someone
how can you be truthful to God?
God made her, him
- a body in His image
with feelings and mischiefs
But heck, He puts up with you
Won't you put up with them too?
But be gentle, okay?
because sometimes the truth does hurt
But they'd rather hear the truth than putting up with your bull
Isn't that your bull?
No
It's someone else's bull
Okay
It got loosed
Ha got to to tie it
bind it
cut it off right now
because you don't need no bull
You don't need a horn on you
Got what I mean?

Premium Member For Oscar On His 12th Birthday

Beloved is the heart of gold cast in he
whose dear life for would my own sacrifice -
how quick its forge and youthful alchemy
heat and cool in the pit of fire and ice!
In time the tempered blade becomes the man
yet I brazen youth’s mischiefs will see past
when greater filled do your length of days span
and wider does your gaze and shadow cast.
True is the countenance fair to behold,
fairer still that golden beauty unseen -
hearken unto me the days of this world
and let no fathered rebuke come between.
Lest you want after idols of this realm
seek our God and King in Jerusalem.

Yesterday's joys

Dancing to the tunes of destiny, as if we are toys,
Today's yearning, is lost yesterday's joys,
A cascade of memories that ever last,
Can't forget wonderful moments of the past !

Carefree attitude and joy of tender mischiefs,
Conflicts with teachers and innocent beliefs,
When parents used to pacify our fears,
and siblings used to exploit our tears,

Competitive spirit of dare with friends,
Love and care that was well in trends,
Reminisce those days of secret meets,
Starry nights and the dreamy cheats,

Introspect those days of when and why,
subtle joys are alive though yesterday is gone by !

Premium Member Cry Baby

Vague are the memories of my very early years
Most occurrences I know of are by second hand
A chubby, round, baby with large brown eyes
So chuck full of "dimples", that the nickname stuck
At birth, I sucked on one finger, and then it was two!
I cried a whole lot, they tell me, much more often than not
These habits, became daily rituals that drove Mama up the wall!
In hind sight, just maybe, I didn’t want to be "here"
Somehow, my Papa understood me well
And found ways to bring out in me, giggles, coos and smiles
He calmed me with silly, elaborate and impromptu songs
It seemed I'd listened intently, and very often fall asleep
As I reached my toddler years, questions and the mischiefs flourished
Curiosity ruled my days, and the constant crying stopped
But sucking on two fingers must have comforted me somehow
‘Though threats to “cut it off”, became the norm
It was soon realized by all, how useless they became
And revealed to my family, how stubborn I would be,
Through all the noise and alarm, I know that I was loved.

Red Lights

Where did I leave that serenity behind, that made me smile?
Now these red lights choke, the blood's dried, human venom reigns,
I cant dream in this jail, my sleep's gone, quite a while,
Red lights, danger, dont come here, all you'll get is pain.

'Come on, Kamini, there's customers outside, go satisfy their need,'
I move around in a caged house, where the nights aren't starry!
I'm sick, my body aches, heart jumps out, nobody pays a heed,
As I unbutton my blouse, remove the saree!

Where did that playground vanish, where I went out playing?
I look out at the empty skies, by day they are blue, and once again red,
I put faith in Someone once, I wasted my time praying,
I live in a colony of women who are dead!

'Kamini, what are you gonna do when you're big?' said a familiar voice,
No. It wasnt. It was a bad dream about a blurry past, rotten.
The red lights made me learn in life, without much choice,
So, in some way I'm thankful that in another world I am forgotten.

Where did the scoldings fade, when I put some mischiefs into act?
My mother would chase, and my father smile, reading his newspaper,
I would blow in my tea, and take a sip that wouldn't keep my mouth intact,
And then, jump as high as a skyscraper!

'Kamini, you can play in the ground, just dont go near the streets,'
It was once a day when the sun hadn't died, and my playtime cried,
But who would follow, when a child heart pleads?
That is when, for the first time, my life lied.

Where did I do things wrong that I pay this price today?
A girl is known for the will she holds, the will to carry on,
But what about the disgrace men give us, shall not we hold it too, in dismay?
I put my trust in a fake mind, my faith now is gone.

'Come, child, lets give you a ride, we'll give you a chocolate,'
I went to the car, a single step has turned my life upside down,
But he was just like my father, why would he have someone to hate
Someone whom he would send far away from her town?

Where did the streets go which dumped me here, made me a whore?
Was His eyes closed, or was he smiling at my folly?
Life's an unforgiving ocean, doesnt return things she takes from the shore,
And now the time's come, the graveyard is calling!

I write my wrath, is He there to stop another death?
No. He's not....

Metamorphosis

We were in great pleasure, it deserves some praise
We play, we love in our early days
Those days were touching
And our hearts were filled nothing but joy
We use to color the neighbours wall
And show our painting skill
The very name we paint is
existing still
In classroom we studied nothing but mischiefs
We have launched many paper missiles
To our teachers head
We did mockery in absence of our teacher
Dance, sing, and play
And show our professionalism in mischief
Those pleasing joy excites other
Such a retrospect of our own delight
Such pleasure we will not obtain
Our innocent sweet simple years
Will not turn again
