Who Can Argue Miracles Exist?

No man, be he grandiloquent or coarse;
             be he a learned novel or tattered page;
             be he devout in faith or drenched in doubt;
be he a man replete with shame of sin:
No man (unless an empty man who flaps like cynic’s skin)
who has watched the early sun come out
or heard the song of sparrows spared the cage:
No man in love with his daughters: No man in love with his universe.

Premium Member Miracles Rain From Heaven

It came into existence from the breath of God
Just look at animals, people, trees, and look at a bird
The blind will begin to see
People in bondage of sin is now free
The famine will be fed with loaves of bread and fish
A hospice child is granted and receives a wish
People with cerebral palsy will walk
A Chinese man with a speech impediment will suddenly talk
A New York fireman is in a burning building walks out untouched
On a movie set a stunt woman does an amazing and impossible stunt
A very racist white man get saved in a all black church
An illiterate and homeless man gets saved and a hour later get hired to work
A man rushed to hospital in trauma flat lines awake and yells for wife
A young mother addicted to drugs become clean and gives Jesus her life
Everyone these people can be a witness and be a disciple
That heaven rains miracles

John 1:16, 17 From the fullness of his grace we have all received one blessing after
another. For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

Miracles Do Happen

She looked in dismay at her mail today,
her bills are mounting, how will she pay?

Soon a mother to be, and unable to work,
thoughts of regret, for trusting that jerk.

Caught up in a moment, she let herself go,
her Prince Charming is here no more.

Only eighteen, and all alone in a small little place,
her mother told her, you are a disgrace.

Phone turned off, and soon the power,
frightened to death, I despise that coward.

All he wanted was a one night stand,
all she wanted was a loving man.

Now a baby to nurture, and care,
all she can do, is worry, and stare.

Maybe a couple that has a nice home,
will take my baby, and give her a good home.

A very nice lady at the office down the street,
notified the girl, I found just who you need.

A couple had tried for 10 long years,
but all they got was bills, and tears.

They want to meet you, if you are sincere,
they want you both, these people are so dear.

Rich in material things, they have so much,
but the warmness of a family, is out of their touch.

So pack your things, and I'll take you home,
this is the miracle, you prayed for, so long.

Miracles Cannot Happen

Miracles Cannot Happen

The laws of nature cannot be violated
and for this Miracles do not occur.
At best they’re simply coincidences,
Interpretations, often a bit of a blur.

Belief in Miracles are somewhat unjustified,
Miracles always perceived as positive.
Supernatural or of deity contrived,
Miraculous paradox, I sadly misgive.

All is explainable, no matter how complex,
Miracles require “extraordinary evidence.”
For this reason, they cannot happen,
Defying the laws of nature is nonsense.

The Earth To Be Full Of His Glory

The Heavens oh God declare Your awesome glory
giving heed to Your presence so high above
but yet my Lord so great and so majestic You are
still You want to fill the heart of man with Your love.

Your glory, my Father is soon to be seen
for You are going to disclose
Yourself to Your creation
opening to it one of Heaven’s glorious doors.

Angelic visitations in the earth
will soon be on the rise
signs, miracles and wonders to with such mind boggling events
to happen just before our very eyes.

There will be no doubt for man will say
this something that only a Great God can do
for look at all these miracles He has
done my brother my sister for me and for you.

Then His remnant church will rise
out of the religious body of faith now so dead
and with sword in hand and with a shield of faith
will by their God march forth and by Him they will be led.

Camping under His cloud of Glory
like His people of the past
only this time His Glory
on earth will be cut so short and it will not last.

This glory will usher in that
last day great harvest of souls
and once this job has been accomplished
off to Heaven His Bride will go.

Oh Father to know Your Glory and
awesome presence now so complete
Lord my all I surrender so totally to You come and by your Spirit
direct this child and order this path for my feet.

Premium Member Verbal Miracles

In four and sixty syllables
He strains to squeeze some thoughts profound
Into unyielding manacles
Of 8x8 form, tightly-bound.
He seeks to hand-pick words that sound
Unforced by metric obstacles
That sing and sensibly expound -
In short, do verbal miracles!

Miracles Unfold

With boldness untold
She bared me her soul
Confiding in me
Her very humanity

A gif of herself
So courageous and free
It clarified for all
The direction from thee

On a beach in the moonlight
You showed me the way
For goodness and grace
Now I see it today

A gift divine
So crystal so clear
That forever in this life
Will I know what is dear

I pledge to her again
My heart and my soul
For it is in her arms
That the story will be told

Should I falter should I fall
I beg of you now
Give me the strength
To climb this high wall

In this life we’ve created
I vow for her my best
I’ve climbed the high mountains
God put me to test

He gave me the vision
To continue to see
That in this life
There is only Susan and me

Missing the Miracles

Within this infinite multiverse, there are infinite complexities we must converse
One being miracles that we immerse, and yet we still have the galaxy to traverse
There are many mysteries we cannot explain throwing on shelves and in the drain
I exist within a perplexing plane, a parthenogenetic particle in the cosmic chain
Behold what we cannot see, from a speck of micro-dust to dark matter of infinity
All reside within thoughts of tranquility, where miracles are born in a celestial sea
In a continuous conundrum, they do hide, dwelling within their anonymous abide
A flower reaching the sun a mother’s pride, missing the miracles we put aside.

You be the sea
I’ll be the stone
Waiting and waiting
On your seashore
To eternity and beyond

You be the wave
I’ll be your wind
Caring and caring
Your waves i’the sand
To eternity and beyond
Miracles happen

Miracles always
Happen!

You be the splash
I’ll be the waiting
You be the kiss
I’ll be the fading
Miracles happen

To eternity and beyond
Miracles always
Happen!

You be the tears
I’ll be your salt
You be t’seabed
I’ll be your heaven
Miracles happen

To eternity and beyond
Miracles always
Happen!

You be the darkness
I’ll be your ridge
Flying and flying abyss
Meeting sunlight

Christmas Miracles

Christmas is a miracle from God,
I look forward to Christmas each year.

Christmas is a miracle from God,
The tall Christmas tree decorated and looks beautiful..

Christmas is a miracle from God,
The presents wrapped under the tree.

Christmas is a miracle from God,
The homemade presents, cakes and cookies.

Christmas is a miracle from God,
The Christmas cards and letters that you write.

Christmas is a miracle from God,
The days with your relatives and friends.

Christmas is a miracle from God,
The delicious lunch or dinner prepared especially.

Christmas is a miracle from God,
The Christmas creche under the Christmas tree.

Premium Member A Feather At His Feet

She was a beautiful woman…his friend…her heart…simple and pure
She totally believed in miracles…he…was not so sure.

As her end of life approached…as she stood upon deaths door
she spoke to him of miracles…as she never had before.

She said she couldn’t wait to see heaven…she wondered about the crowds
She wondered how easy it would be…to find her place among the clouds.

Knowing he was a skeptic…she took his hand one day
And said, when I get to heaven…I will find a way…

to help you believe in miracles…with angel wings I will take flight
I’ll get a message to you…I’ll show you everything’s all right.

He listened to her, held her hand and smiled while trying not to cry
as she spoke to him of miracles…until the day they said goodbye.

It was a few days later on a morning walk…still feeling bittersweet
when a feather floated from sky and landed at his feet.

A pure white feather which he picked up then turned his eyes up to the sky…
wondering if it had fallen off an egret flying by…

or could this be from an angel’s wing…as from heaven she took flight…
announcing to him she had made it…that everything IS all right….

And he smiled at her heavenly message…which was both sublime and sweet
that miracles can be as simple as a feather at his feet.

Premium Member Miracles Do Happen

I find listening to music very therapeutic.
All types of music be it opera to jazz can change a person's mood
in minutes lifting spirits to great heights, stirring emotions
by its imagery and sound.
It amazes me how much wonderful music has been composed by
many (mostly men) over the years that will last forever
and evoke the same feelings as they do today.
Music is the food of love in many ways.
Written with dedication and love by the composer that is
experienced by those who listen.
Our lives would be very sombre without the magic that music gives
to our hearts, souls and minds.
It is difficult to comprehend the ugliness that exists in these
turbulent times.
Violence and discontent that was never meant to be.
Composers and poets can see and express the majesty and
grandeur that nature provides.
One of the many gifts of God that we should give thanks for,
not be hell-bent on destroying.
This situation has got to its peak and will start to improve.
Hopefully, we have learned something from this experience that will
stay with us for the betterment of the world.
If we can all appreciate the beauty in both nature and each other.
Composers and poets can educate us with only twenty-six letters
and eight notes, how can we not believe in miracles.

Love To Last Forever

God provides exquisite experiences to last forever,
The day she met him she fell in love with him.

He was tall and muscular and very good- looking,
They became good friends and companions some days.

She would come by to have conversation with him,
Share her love of art and poetry.

He loved skiing and so did she,
They had more in common than she thought.

He loved canoing and the cottage,
Favorite days with her relatives she thought.

They would hug now and then and even kissed once,
I am very blessed she said to herself.

What a miracle in her life from day to day,
She thought of Robert Barrette Browning and Elizabeth Barrette Browning.

Great poets who wrote, "How do i love thee let me count the ways.
I love thee to the height and depth of all my days.''

Just like the great poets I thought,
I guess that you have to believe in miracles.
