Best Manoeuvring Poems

Forget about futuristic wars
between nations, race against race
country against country
tongue against tongue;
soon the populous will know no
borders, continents no boundaries.
“The New master”
Is awakening manoeuvring
stalking, his plan already activated
The twenty second century will
see his bidding become
formidable, the pocket, whims,
thoughts and desires
will be his to regulate, what
to eat, drink, lay on ride on, he
will control, no law will hold him,
he will be the law!
Politicians will become
his directors and producers
will guide his script, play his media
trouble shooters
his bounty hunters, seeking out
the moralist, the Salvationist,
no competition will be his aim,
manipulation of all things
one world
one God
one Board
one CHAIRMAN
“The ultimate ONE COMPANY”

The Lighthouse - Lighthouse Rhopalic Verse Contest

The coastal lighthouses, intervening
in many dangerous undercurrents.
it's beacon interacts vigorously
as vessel realigns, manoeuvring
past many obstacles undistinguished
by any obvious visionary.
So sailing faultlessly, continuing
home without treacherous impediments

Spring
ripples
through luscious
flowery plots.
Manoeuvring into a large cul-de-sac
I climb a low stile only to find a
picturesque scene,
vast field of
poppies
red.

Wish Upon the Star

~~~~~ ^-^   *-* ~~~~~
                              Manoeuvring through purplish cerulean azure
                      'Til she touched the empyrean Zion
                    Perching above the whinstone during cockcrow
                                 Possessing allured ala lined with grandiosity
                        Dressed like a virgin woman from heaven
                                Divine messenger? A cherub?
                                    " NO! " - An Orphic pixie
                           Cradling the scintillation with her left mitt
                             Intent - coveting for self-innovation
                   Reflection seems so distant from bliss and poise
            Apathy, twinges of regrets and pieces of sorrow- ECHOED
                      Yeah! Mystic frolicsome otherworldly wight
                                      Wishing to be a HUMAN
               Human - not a perfect being but ready to CHANGE!
Bison the Canal Boat
Strictly still in the marina
Loving and toying with the pier fingers
Shes a heavy, long boat
An old worker
Modern and comfort slipped with no disturbance into the workwomen
Her engine starts with aggressive industrial baritone chugging
Before oozing into the canal with the grace of a disgruntled elderly woman
Designed for the manoeuvring collisions
Water off a boats back
Undisturbed water – all but an inquisitive pike breaching
Silent cataclysmic rumbles moves her along
The smooth canal  trampled
A minute slit in the graceful water
' Eiffel Tower '
~*~
iridescent rainbow hue of alluring view
heart's living essence now in screw
whole unscathed life is in glue
her name is no clue ...
oh love, love, love
like white manoeuvring dove
vagabonding in sense being's above
fate and will - hearts' soul shove ...
you're a scented exquisite flower
petals of warmth's dew in shower
a lady as comely and refined as the Eiffel Tower
I'm a beau, a secret lover ...
you're the effulgent golden daystar in my vague murky dusk
you're the incessant driblets of rain in my ghastly drought's mask
you're the sculpted key that opens my obscure, nebulous life's door
now, no query - " I LOVE YOU " , please don't ask WHY no more.
Flowing River - I Became
Flowing river - I became...!
'O' friend! you stood your ground, a rock in the riverbed;
sauntered, stuttered, stumbled and stopped for good.
I transformed, into waters and became one in one with it,
a flowing river, discovered myself, perfectly fit - well knit!
I meandered, I ran and I strode over - moved on and on;
flowed under, down the falls - continuing in ways shown!
Ran down the slopes, cleaving and causing a deep gorge;
breaching walls - attempts persistently made to dislodge!
Moved on mingling and manoeuvring, just unstoppable,
I refused to, when all around me - anxiety was palpable!
The Sun quenched it's thirst from me - I just vaporised;
and the heavens poured in more, never felt pressurised!
The earth and it's offsprings - gulped in greed and tore!
as ever, always keeping only their needs alone in fore.
Breaking the barriers many a times - making new ways,
left it for time to decide, as I went by, in the way it paves!
Rode rough and shoddy rides - scarring deeper below,
took it in the stride - as it definitely did help me mellow!
Whenever, I was cornered or caught - I turned a puddle,
I was a breeding ground for many a questionable riddle!
I'm that flowing waters and I choose to be one - you see!
have none else but me to fend for and to set myself free!
There were other buried rocks - often surfaced aground,
'stumbling' - time to skirt around or go over that mound!
Some had dug deeper, some rolled along for a short while,
brushing all aside, I scattered them - didn't let any to pile!
Those that rolled on, turned pebble - chose a different path,
stayed on longer to see various shades of seasons' wrath!
Rotund, smooth, even glossy as they changed their shape,
displaying colour and texture - a beauty that left us agape!
Did all roughing-up and knocks make it harder at the core,
as it eroded and corroded - taking forms that we all adore?
Some cracked and broke with fragments thrown all around,
resisting every change, will remain embedded - thus bound!
I shall stay course, find or make my own to set myself free,
as I'm that flowing river - that will make way to reach my Sea!
Ambien
The muddle of sleep—
The grand entrance to Morpheus' legendary palace
In whole or half a tablet;
Easy breaths of chemicals
In pretty, light-refracting bottles.
I prepare myself for an escorted journey
To where dreams float from their origin
Like glossy bubbles through netted neurons
I am the keeper of sedatives—
An expert in manoeuvring through fallen thoughts
Don't they know I need sleep too?
I need this perceived travel through time
To kiss my lips—
To enter slowly with its glowing tongue
And seduce my mind into a comfortable numbness—
To lug it, like a limp body,
Away from the sounds of rubber through rain
Onto a restful shore.
Yes,
I do vie
For my senses to trip, drunkenly,
Over one and other
Like a vague rolling wave in cloudy space.
It is actually a religion
Or maybe I'm confusing it with religious consumption—
Swallowing rotund solidity
Like a whore swallows fluidity.
This is not ecstasy
This is prescribed tranquility, so it's OK.
Okay, and infinitely sweeter,
Because it does not put me in a hot air balloon
With a finite fire.
I don't ever need to descend;
Just open my eyes to the sun through my blinds
Society is dancing on my back
Across my stomach
Trying to expel the demon inside me.
I love these molecular robots;
They drift with a purpose and close the dock
Where insomnia frequents.
Afternoon shakes off grogginess,
The invisible lotus leaf
Stamped on my brow,
And pulls me up the conscious ladder.
I don't want to be here.
Circles of slumber—those precious pills
Are always as good as I want them to be—
As I beg them to be—
As I need them to be.
A Gnat
There was something about this place--
so terribly unknown,
and though I fancied its mystery
I felt so alone,
an old abandoned dock, a shady-- house on a hill--
the same wardrobe of twill, in this city of stone.
All the years, misplaced and dreary--
I notice the gnat,
fluttering neath the window pane;
it's wings timid and flat,
how lucky that creature would-- someday be--
so determined and free, a silencing splat.
Lovely, I thought, this quiet scene--
my flattened friend,
two legs still manoeuvring aimlessly,
the others embrace the end--
how simple and fragile--a finespun dust--
yet you I trust, but will not defend.
Four glass panels, light passing through--
a heavenly invite,
your ticket stamped for an eternity,
why continue on to fight?
why attempt to scramble--around and about--
for a God without, not an angel in sight.
I am your vigil, your watching eye--
I will, stand here and watch you die,
I count the minutes--till sweet release--
the sign from whom shall grant you peace,
yet no soul beckons, or heeds the call--
    no one my friend, no one at all.
World of Mesmerisms To the World of Foibles
Manoeuvring through purplish cerulean azure
'Til she touched the empyrean Zion
Perching above the whinstone during cockcrow
Possessing allured ala line with grandiosity and passion
Dressed like a virgin woman from ABOVE
Divine messenger? A cherub?
" NO " - An Orphic pixie
Cradling the scintillation with her left mitt
Intent - coveting for self-innovation
Reflection seems so distant from blithe and poise
Apathy, twinges of regrets and pieces of sorrow - echoed
Yeah - mystic frolicsome otherworldly wight
Wishing to be a human
- Not a perfect being but changes must be done
Fairy be a woman...
Scouring for eccentric discrepant realm
Where mistakes are the supreme pedagogue
And where perfection is " out of the question "
Where warmth and adulation is a must
And where ceding and relinquishing is a Crime
Where creeds and dogmas is Supernal
And where gluttony and lust is Buncombes
Where food and water is an exigency
And where world is ruled by CROCODILES...
" two worlds so different ...yet a fairy wants to glide over the world of HUMANS "
I'M Flying
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  *-*  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

                                       " I'M FLYING WITHOUT WINGS "

Gliding, soaring,manoeuvring above the EARTH
Not in the welkin but above the crux of existence and birth
Steering through the cottony clouds of my reveries and infinite aims
Holding the stars - extricating my only hope and creed...not blame
Counting every single breath - not to last for one reason
Grip the great exultant conquest over whatever season
Just living to fly ... soar ...fly ... - aviating my own soul not to fell
But to reach the optimum degree point of heavenly Zion
Not the most unfathomable site of hell
Coz' I'm flying ... FLYING WITHOUT WINGS
In my side...the WINGS OF FAITH that sings . . .

He was late to school as usual
therefore punished
because he daily fed the street dog
who was famished

Member of Alcoholics Anonymous
neighbours sneered at his confessions
although his hip flask was empty
his mission offering hope and inspiration

Frequent cash withdrawals
viewed with suspicion by his wife
whilst he performed small miracles
assisting the needy to rebuild their life

Division of family property
he settled by a wager
manoeuvring adroitly
that his own share be smaller

The void holds all secrets
in a non-judgmental stance
divine love arms open in embrace
in vibrant joyful innocence

Premium Member Intoxicating Autumn Air

Sitting by the beach
At the patio
Summer days behind us
Chatting with my sweetheart
Manoeuvring our glass of wine
Savoring the cooler vista
Reminiscing past adventures
Mapping out new excursions
Just appreciating each other
And loving the way we feel
Free and in love
Relaxed like the old married couple
That we are
Comfortable in our silences
Content by a touch or a smile
Finishing each other’s sentences

Enjoying each minute
And the sense of humor
I fell in love with years ago
Toasting to our health
And the many years to come

Intoxicated with joy
The wine and the autumn sun
Enjoying the life we’ve created
And the people we’ve become
In love and still our own selves
