Tonight I closed my eyes to pray
God.. let me feel, hear, and touch
Remove earth's blinders from me
Oh vulnerability... almost too much
Suddenly,
Your dreams for a moment.. felt
Such beauty I can't describe
Love's song unleashed in me
Lyrics danced and wouldn't hide
Star's wonder, I now could touch
Each of them knew your name
We embraced, I saw you there
Felt things that can't be tamed
Heaven's breeze began to speak
Your sacred secrets into my ear
Caressing my heart into belief
She's yours, if only.. stay near
Your dreams for a moment.. felt
Sweet dreams carried on the wind
Such a fierce and breathless love
Two hearts, now one...
... we'll never end!
~Lyric Man
Note: This write is an echo lyric to Maia Lewis' "If For A Moment" (you must go and read it!). My song is about a guy who answers that "if" question, by asking God to allow him to feel, hear, and touch what's going on inside the heart of a particular girl.
Hermes broke his Father (Zeus) and Mother’s (Maia) heart
when he intervened upon seeing a green eyed blonde woman
of Celtic origin, on her way to the afterlife, breaking all the rules,
displeasing Hades whom showered his own desires upon her,
before forcing Zeus to adhered to protocol.
These are Hermes own words as if he had lived in the 21st century
As I dream upon this broken wave, like my life turning so sad, I miss the one and only Holy Grail, the one I loved and I had, like the sunrise it was, my body next to hers, yes renewed every single day, my age to be at last not deemed so bad. I'll never be able to match with words the moments I cherished with her, only I remember those lips that sparkled in return, and her love given to one starved for oh so long.
a light from the north
the claw of hades doth chain
love the only key
Oh yes her drive is mine ... together we would rock and we would roll, she says never, we would grow to hate us, had that been our role. But I’m a fighter believe in what is right, and this my long legged blonde, and I, in flight from my father’s wrath, love each other so much, a match on earth and when I released my love inside, it felt oh so right.... I will die a mortal, and she my secret, no guilt have I, no religion to stuff me up. Now I have known a human goddess from the north, her eyes those of the midnight sky, something so special so unique. She'll never have to worry about life upon this earth, she made her mark in more ways than one, life to two, arr, yet no, and life to three the other is me
our time together
brief upon the sunlit earth
underworld awaits

Vaccine Maia
Oh, joy, the magic, potion is here!
To be injected in the arm, not my
derrière!
I am no fool to buy like eternal swishing via a potion.
This is sone magical health revolution.
I'd rather die, by God's voice.
Nor Big Brothers demanding choice.
Like worms is a fresh apple they've taken freedoms away.
People hide and are depressed
and their emotions sway.
With masks I can take no more...
And no, in front of this face, I will
not sport a plastic door.!
No,you may not tell me with whom
I might dine,
Nor fine me, because my life is mine!
Stand up for your freedoms, stop
being fool's fear ghoul .
Fear of the virus is their the politicos' main pain political tools.
Rise up nations, make your case.
You are about to have all freedoms erased!

She should have been Hera, goddess queen of heaven, the sister-wife of
Zeus, king of the gods; she would have caught him one Friday night tipping
Out while she sleeps to visit one of his plumy wives and over 100 relations.
She would have said, “Sit down Zeus; let me inform you about the laws of
Property settlement and child support in heaven with a concrete poem.”
She would have straightened up Aphrodite, goddess of love and lust.
Especially when Aphrodite was caught red-handed making love to
Her son, Ares, the God of war, she probably would have said, “Now look
Here woman, quit messing with my son and creating all this rumblings in
Heaven with the gods.” I could see some Lanturne poems floating
She would have acted as the sister of Demeter, goddess of fertility,
Agriculture, and harvest, a sister of Zeus. Because she would have
Blessed women with children who need them, and also farmers
With great harvest and crops to feed their families and sustain the
People across the land, by waving a haiku poem in her healing hands
She would have screamed as the sister of Hermes, the crooked cattle-rustling
God; son of Zeus and Maia, who stole his brother, Apollo’s cows, then
Lied, and swore before Zeus, their father, “That even if I knew who stole
Apollo’s cattle, I would not even accept a reward for finding the thief.”
She would have gave her crooked brother, and son of Zeus, a flying senryu
She would have been with Athena, the virgin goddess of wisdom, reason, and
Heroic endeavors; the daughter of Zeus, and Titan goddess of wise counsel
Métis, especially when Athena appeared onto Swift-footed demigod,
Achilles, and told him, “Sheathe your sword and defeat Agamemnon, the
Greek king with words of wisdom.” I could see some wise epigram poems
She was probably counseled by Apollo, her brother, god of music, healing, and
Poetry; the son of Zeus and the Titan goddess Leto. Because she has cared
For the sick in hospital emergency rooms, and has also stimulated us for years
With her poetic muse. She has counseled many along the way and has calmed
Many storms with loving charm. “Hail my sister in Christ—Karen O’Leary!”
Happy birthday angel and wishing you many more for years to come!
The land shrugs off the chill of winter
And emerges into spring’s full beauty.
The things barren bloom hereafter.
People remember me as an icon of vitality
I am erected and decorated with ribbons,
People dance winding ribbons around the spire.
The young couples dancing around me
Get licensed to “go into the green” together
Dance and song is weaving of life’s energies.
I am a phallic symbol signifying fertility while
Wreaths and baskets represent the female.
Thus celebrating sexuality and life
Before the Horned God or the Greek God Pan.
Some connect me to the worship of Maia,
The presiding Goddess of the month May.

Maia swims well, how time flies,
She's now nine,
Oh, the many poems I wrote about her...
When she was born,
When she was two,
When she was five,
Oh, my wonderful granddaughter,
The apple of my eye,
She wears her swimming goggles
And races with me,
She always wins,
She swims back stroke
As fast as fish swim.
Reminiscing these moments with her,
In our outdoor pool,
This beautiful summer of sun and warmth.
Maia turns nine today
Apple of my eye
I've said a thousand times
And at 2:30 I'll pick you up from school
Then take you to your gymnastics class
And then home where a surprise party awaits you.
Oh, how I'd like to see your face surprised!
How time flies
And I hope in the years I have left
Your Lolo will enjoy being with you
Laughing, surprising, playing,
Biking, eating and just having fun.
To enjoy in the delight
Of trying new tastes
While having fun....
Oh, My! What a sight!
To play in tops & shorts,
No matter if there's shoes or not....
It's the pretty lacey pink dresses
With a bow or a rose
That will stay so delicate!
For "A Little Sweetie"
Who's just about to arrive
Bound for Lots of Love & Affection....
It was meant to be
A special place to call your very own!
To hear the laughter
Of catching bubbles in the air
Or blowing them as they pop....
You will become squeaky clean
Just like a bright new shiny penny!
So nice & warm
Snuggled in the arms
Of Mommy & Daddy
As she hears a lullaby or story
A little Princess will fall asleep....
That special bond will last forever!
I am a Taurean Girl
Adorned in strength of character’s veil
Valour and grace held as a scepter
Born in a month named after Maia
Nurtured in the magnificent land of Gaia
I am a Taurean Girl
Rare and fearfully made as a clear pearl
Exuding confidence in mauve Louboutins
Blessed with the gift of gab and soul
Wherein lies the passion that makes me whole
I am a Taurean Girl
Madly in love with a Capricorn gentleman
Whose dreams resemble that of an airman
Strong, passionate, he makes the heart airlift
And brings with the blessing of two precious Libran gifts
I am a Taurean Girl
Endowed with the rich blessing of Abraham
Ever smiling, cheerful, intelligent, quirky in nature
Like red wine, maturing, getting better with age
Eager to continue writing fresh memories on life's priceless page...

Trying to be friends
in a church of One
planted when barely
a young and tender seed
the switch made magic
so the Lady could conceive
”...lay this here…”
so the child can receive
”...and keep this clear…”
into make believe.
silent in the cradle
and peaceful in her sleep
the walnut rocks
to a timeless beat
then out of shadow
and into the mist
an old toad came
stealing Lady’s wish
the tiny maiden fair
was to Spoon, the Dish
but…
she was saved
by the butterfly
a slightly coy fish
she drifted on a lily
making new a wish
and then…
through a field of cush
the May bug flew
crying Tumble!
I’ve seen ya!
It’s true! It’s true!
”... it’s in her new name…”
but discard her he did
when his friends cried
“shame!”
she was desperate now
through Winter’s cold claim
taking shelter with Mice
no understanding her way
”...be kind to the neighbor
marry the Mole…” he’d say
repulsed at the thought
swallowing hard one day
she escaped the dark night
and ran herself aWay
”... I like your crazy pants…”
hidden in the roses
a fairy Prince enchants
”... you’re just my size…”
he said
and so began
their bit of romance.
He kissed her on the eyes
...Maia…
he whispered
it’s been a sureprize!
”... and all became fair
in their living true lives…”
Maia, you're a big girl now,
I miss our hide and seek,
I miss our summer bike rides,
Maia,
Your life has just begun
While my life's about to end,
Maia, oooh!
If I'm not back this time tomorrow,
Live your life, live your life,
Live your life to the fullest.
Maia, my time has come,
I'm getting very old,
I'm aching all the time,
Goodbye, everybody,
I've got to go,
Gotta leave you all behind,
Maia, oooh!
I don't want to die
But that's what life's about,
Goodbye for now, goodbye for one,
Live your life to the fullest...

May-Comes from Maia s also borne in Roman mythology by an earth-goddess who is sometimes equated with the Greek
Where did my mother come up with this, lol
Dad saluted his great granddaughter Maia on skype
That was memorable for me
Dad was a military man
A Brigadier General
They saluted him and not the other way around.
But to his 5 year old granddaughter
He wheeled himself in front of the computer
And saluted her.
What a wonderful moment!
I'll never ever forget that moment.

Note:
The name for the month May comes from the Greek goddess Maia (a Roman earth goddess of fertility). May is a girl’s name, which can also be used as a pet name for Mary or Margaret. The emerald is the month of May’s birthstone, which symbolizes love and success, and the representative flower for the month is the woodland flowering lily of the valley. Although not considered true lilies, calla lilies are cultivated for their colourful flowers and beautiful leaves.
White calla lilies bring an aura of innocence and are regarded as good luck charms for weddings. The representative tree for the month is the hawthorn tree, aka the “May tree,” because its flowers blossom in May.
Maia cursed her, Mother Mania stole her
A million miles, Moneta is missing
Truth which I can't accept, but it will blur
Till then I will wait, weep and keep wishing
Another year that I can't hear her laugh
Another year that she won't live to see
Another year with just a photograph
Another year that I will drown at sea
I want to see her hair, its dirty blonde
Or was it light brown tinted by sunshine
If only I could salvage our dead bond
But since then, I alone will walk this line
Will there be a time we can reunite?
So I don’t get lost, can you shine a light?
