Best Macy Poems
I thought of a girl
I wished to know better
So I started with her name
Examining the placement of each letter
The name
That name
The one she chose
Not Rose
or Daisy
Violet or Macy
The interesting bit
She chose the name SKAT
I was left to ponder about that
Where was her mind at??
This poet and sweetie
who glides in and out of our lives
like the proverbial cat
So I searched Google
for the meaning
Wondering what she was feeling
Was the definition sweet and appealing?
It ended up being about cards and dealing
SKAT is the discarded card
My heart dropped from the ceiling
Leaving my mind questioning and reeling
Instead let's make her the ace up our sleeve
The most special of all cards
lets search deep in the pile to retrieve
If we do
maybe then she'll believe
she is worthy of our love to receive
We all want to be in the game
Sometimes there's meaning in a name
If we don't look close that is our own shame
Now when I look at SKAT
I see her differently
not the same
On a flickering candle
She is the flame
Both light and shadow,
SKAT is her name!
Dedicated to our SKAT

Helen Keller
Helen Keller
88
CharlaXFabels
This is what eye remember about the MOVIE of course eye never knoe her. She
was moving constantly moving at least the actress who was portraying her but to
a boy it WAS her it seemed so heart wrenching a thing to just be blind there is a
SCHOOL for THEM they do not function in the real world and there she was big
as life the boy in my had that CRUSH upon her from the instant eye saw her it
was strang puppy love. Winner of the 1960 Tony Award for Best Play, “The Miracle
Worker” tells the incredible story of Helen Keller, a young woman trapped in a
world of silence and darkness. Deaf, blind, and mute, with no way to
communicate, she fought anyone who tried to help her with an intense, furious
desperation. Then Annie Sullivan came. A strong, determined, half-blind woman
fueled by her troubled past, she began the daunting struggle to reach Helen and
bring her into the world at last. She was so pretty in an odd sort of way swaying to
the tune of musick only she could see and hear the idea that she tried to
overcome her handicap and live was so nice to this little undergod. YThis semi-
sequel to William Gibson's The Miracle Worker recounts the early adult years of
the profoundly handicapped but brilliant Helen Keller. Helen, played by Mare
Winningham, enters college, with her friend and mentor Annie Sullivan Macy
(Blythe Danner) by her side. As Helen's international fame grows, she must
withstand the pressures of those who'd treat her as a freak rather than a human
being as well as Annie's near-strident demands that she excel at everything. The
multi-faceted Ms. Keller lived too much of a life to be squeezed into a mere two-
hour running time; the script betrays the strain of trying to show us more than it's
able by wrapping up everything in a hurried, unsatisfying conclusion. see part two

Prose Poetry
It all started when I took a typing test
I did 95 words per minute and made two errors
The requirement was 50 or more words
Human Resources was impressed and set up the Department interview
It was my history in becoming 33 years ago
This is my personal streaming flow
Now let’s start the show
The date was June 21, 1982
The name of R.H. MACY & CO., INC., but consumers know the company as “MACY’S”
My venture beginning on the 14th Floor at FLAGSHIP HERALD SQUARE TOWER
My schedule was 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM of my precise hour
The Division was the CORPORATE BUYING OFFICE
The task was Telecommunications under the title of TELEX OPERATOR
I was communicating all around Macy’s and the Globe
There is much more in suppose
Later the Department was changed to a Document & Financial Word Processing Center
I was typing Documents & Financial detail as a Lead Operator
Now I must move fast forward
But I must move onward
I worked in numerous departments such as Financial Planning/Budgets, Legal Office,
Administration, Executive Office’s and much more
Remember “MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET”
Well I actually lived the actual event of the days of MACY’S AND GIMBELS era
There was competition between the two companies
Rivalry was also accompanied
Because of a Macy’s Buyer and a Gimbel’s Buyer would often have lunch and discuss what both companies were doing
We were sent an email from our former Macy’s CEO that we are not to talk to Gimbel’s about Macy’s Business
1985, I communicated as a Telex Operator with NBC-TV of the MACY’S THANKSGIVIING
DAY PARADE
I have been trained under the LEADERSHIP OF CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER AND SENIOR
VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS
I have been exposed to two mergers first being FEDERATED DEPARTMENT STORES, INC. AND
Later with MAY COMPANY
Since those 33 years, FEDERATED DEPARTMENT STORES, INC. changed their name to MACY’S, INC.
But the funny part about that is, Federated often said they don’t want to see anything with the Macy’s name on it, but being Macy’s had the name is what brought Federated Fame
Because of the change, my future will be a rearrange
Four years from now, I plan to retire
There’s my year’s of full tenure employ
Eyes on retirement will be my joy.

Angry words have fear-mongering consequences,
said rhetorical behaviorist Hillary,
then Kamala, to Donald,
we would no more peacefully
and compassionately select a Donald Trump as President
than we would bipartisan co-invest to win Donald Duck for Empire Builder.
Words mean things,
said linguistic behaviorist Anat
to her fellow Economist Collective,
and the absence of kind words means something too.
We're not sure what
but I place my bet
on more discommunicating eco-political
ego-apartisanship.
FatherSun enlightenment led toward EarthMother liquidity.
We know this from our indigenous history
of Yang/Yin Win/Win
environmental science books
but this is difficult to see
how exactly this could be
without sufficient silence to recall
what dipolar co-arising energies lie in wait
within this shared bilateral brilliance.
Fire and water,
progenitors of stardust
eco-empowering,
sacred ecologizing
fertile organic planets
birthing health moisturized wealthy regenerations.
To paraphrase bodhisattva Joanna Macy,
Co-invested communing economics
is not more wishful monopolistic thinking
(or messianic ideation).
Active political gathering verbs
enlightening sacred habitats
do not wait for renowned
divisive
drowned-out
dis-organic trauma issues
to be reverently resurrected
and religiously re-membered
by monoculturing Donald Ducks
or by some Anti-Other quacking
self-serving colonization
of patriarchal monotheistic
discommunicating misbehavior.
Active Hope wakes up in love-life's ecological
EarthMother baptismal beauty
wonder
fertile light and flowing power sabbath
on who's silently communing behalf
we can act in sacred light
for animated
organic
polyamorous co-empowerment.
To the responsible Hillaries, and Kamalas:
Follow positively cooperative light,
not so much darkly threatening
reactively monolithic
swampy miscommunication.
To the authoritarian Donalds:
Follow your competitively brilliant
SunFather responsive truth
with EarthMother beauty
loves polyculturing liquidity,
not so much your prized
monopolistic
and monotheistic
anthro-patriarchal
discommunicating fear and anger
military-industrialized pathologies.

DONALD TRUMP – RE: DUCKS --
this portion dashed off
(while dry ving an open white hearse slay
so many months back before

Casino biggest win - before the political imbroglio

A trump peter n piper of incredulous hellish crud - be gone
With the ha air brushed pompous ****

Donald Duck Trump ™$ - a pompous ass

Narrative
A guy decked out in suit and tie
Will never catch my eye
Nor muscles, money, fame or glam
They shouldn't even try
For what I deem is sensual
Might sound a bit askew
So close your eyes and come to know
My sexiest venue
At six foot two, my burly beau
Who's milked and tilled and farmed
Was called to help a cow with twins
To bring them out unharmed
And I recall the day when all
The kids lined up to see -
Him close his eyes and reach inside
Such raw inti – macy!
I saw him sweat and concentrate
And turn those breach calves 'round
So when they came into this world
I felt my heart just pound!

Nothing stirs the languid souls of folks like a hometown parade.
Friends and neighbors uniting to form a colorful cavalcade.
Any special occasion will do such as Veterans or Independence Day,
To uproariously celebrate and put on a spectacular display!
The parade is led off by aging vets proudly carrying Old Glory,
Stepping lively despite expanded girths and looking rather hoary.
The mayor is next in a flashy convertible exuding all of his charms,
Grinning inanely and greeting folks with his out-stretched arms!
The local high school band marches slightly out of step,
And playing a bit off-key but tooting with mighty pep!
The equestrian saddle club prances by in well-formed troops,
Followed closely by a couple of clowns wielding clean-up scoops!
Anxious moms herd a troop of Brownies so small and so cute.
Here comes the Hometown Queen - isn't she a charming beaut!
Vintage cars and John Deere tractors put on quite a show,
But a Model T Ford stalls causing its owner misery and woe!
The Rose Bowl and Macy parades are planned with great ostentation,
Designed to entertain TV audiences across this great nation,
But small town parade committees are just as proud as they can be,
To plan and sponsor a pageant to please local friends and family!

"Strangely"
Withdrawals getting shaky
I can't think or see straightly
I'll stay stuck or I'll break free
They thought I was just being shady
It made me
Or was able to break me
A change in me
Or still the same me
Continued on more sanely
Or started going crazy
I held on bravely
It all went bad, or was all gravy
Got the job done or I didn't and was lazy
Lifeforms full of vigor, others hanging on faintly
Species with soft or rugged skin that is smooth or scaly
The picture quality was great or it was far too grainy
Days and nights stayed sunny or got rainy
From here to I-80
To way beyond Haiti
Getting spacey
In a room that is hazy
Too many people being flaky
If need be, I'll hit those with the impact of a comet named Halley
Like the world did to me, paid no mind or I said "Ahoy Matey!"
Feeling pain-free or achy
Endless heartbreak for me
Hard to relate to me
Living life strangely
And quaintly
To put it plainly
I was all for it, fully against this or it was a maybe
Falling into a pit, instead of improving greatly
Sober for a brief period, now I get drunk and high on the daily
I was going up, but I've been going downhill lately
I put myself in danger, yet for others I offered safety
Only one way to find out, if you got what it takes to be
If this is the first, then what happens at stage three?
If I ever have a baby
And she's a girl, then I'll name her Hailey
What about Amy
Stacy
Or Bailey and Paisley
If not, then how about Daisy
Casey and Macy
or Katie?
Before and after I turn eighty
Give my all and do my best, so she can turn in a wonderful lady

And there’s a Charlie
A character curiously cartooning
One of the Charlie’s careening and in crusade
Maybe someday he’ll be in a Macy Day parade
Charlie Chicken 1942 anthropomorphic chicken
And there’s Charlie Beary, a big daddy bear
Charlie of the Chocolate Factory, making all those chocolate candies
And there’s Charlie
A character curiously cartooning
One of the Charlie’s careening and in crusade
Maybe someday he’ll be in a Macy Day parade
Chuckle Charlie Finster
Picture always in the funny papers
Charles B. Barkin, was a dog, who went to heaven
Come eat with me play games for free
Chuck E. Cheese
And there’s Charlie
A character curiously cartooning
One of the Charlie’s careening and in crusade
Maybe someday he’ll be in a Macy Day parade
Old Charlie Dog little orphan Airedale
Charlie the Tuna fishing sooner
And there’s Charlie's stop curiously cartooning and careening with me laugh out loud
What’s with all these Charlies now?

How did I get so lucky in finding you? After all of the lies I've seen it's good to be
blind by truth. And that is my truth but I'd still take the dare. I'm so nervous about
this though I've never been one to be scared. I've prepared myself mentally for what
emotionally may come. Still I assume I'll feel things and have no idea where they're from.
They'll be something like shadows, attached to me and hard to see through. I'll wear them
on my face like the lens of my glasses that keep up my clear point of view.
I'd like to think I had more will power and it'd be hard for me to succumb to the
seductive ways of a woman that often leave a man looking dumb. But after our first
encounter you had my mind twisted up in a crazy way. Somewhere in the middle of a Jack
Black and a Barry White. Let's call it a Macy Gray. You had me before we could even form
a dialogue. I was sprinting to find words to say, something like a memory jog. Choking
on unspoken words, I was on a steady diet of silence. I swear I could have put a patent
on my stupidity because I had it down to a science.
We take the time now to learn about each other. What makes us laugh, how we love, and
what secrets we cover. I take the time to listen as your body speaks and I take note of
every touch that makes you weak. I love the little things about you that make you who you
are. And from all the rest who act the same you've set yourself apart.
Your kiss washes over me and makes my smile brighter like Listerine. You clear me up when
I breathe you in like a strong antihistamine. You're my sunshine so I would never care if
I burned. You aren't found in any text book but you're the best subject I've ever learned.

Ever sense I killed myself on that horrid day....
You mourn my death from afar
You Speak of me to your friend at school, whats his name again, Jfar?
Up in heaven, I ask god to let me speak to you one last time -
- To tell you sorry for my wrongful crimes
God see's this as an opportunity for me to learn (A lesson)
He says, "I'll grant your wish buy you must give me something in return,
once you go back to Earth you can possess any one soul,
for a short hour, and no longer, and only one person may hear your cries."
I say, "That's fine" but then remember the catch,
I ask god, "And what do you want in return?"
He says, "You must remain on Earth,
to mourn yourself, banished to the shadows, as eternal damnation."
Without hesitation, I tell God, "An hour of Godliness is worth an eternity of Damnation."
And with a snap of His fingers, I desend gently into Earth.
I see your still talking to Jfar, I match my body's position, size, and figure.
And as soon as I take control, His body, me, falls to the ground
You ask me, "Whats wrong?" I open my eyes,
I look up at her and begin to get up starting with one knee
I grab her hand as I rise and say her name in a way only she could recognize me as
"Macy..., Your cheeks are turning red."
Your eyes generate a single tear and falls down your face
You say, "Jake? Is that really you, please don't tease me."
I say, "yes my love it's me, I have returned, choosing damnation to speak to you one last
time."
"I'm sorry to leave love, for the lies, the heartache, and the long days I was away."
She says, "That never mattered..."
"Your actions wern't entirely my fault."
"Our families anger kept us apart."
The pressure of the few minuets had suduced me.. ->
-> I run towards her with full force with arms open
almost knocking you down, and while she still in shock,
I lock my stare into hers and thank her,
I say, "take care of yourself, my time here is up, remember that my heart is always yours."
She cries and pleads me to stay, not to leave her again.
I brush her tears off her face, and kiss her in a way I only could
Then seconds later, I'm thrown out and the guy falls unconcious on the ground

My favorite cousin of all time,
And the best friend I could ask for.
Cute as a button,
You never make our friendship a bore.
Everyone might be out to get you,
Least of all, I’ll be here.
And everyone doesn’t just choose,
I realize that our family is dear.
No one understands how much you mean,
Even though we keep it clean.
