What Is It

WHAT IS IT

I am thinking of you again
How many times? I cannot remember.
It still causes the same pain.
Burning in my chest, like a white steel ember.
It has been eating at my mind, it is a devastating cancer.
I am writing this now, even though… I still have no answer.
The other day, I tore up my room
In a childish fit of rage,… anger.
But that is not my strongest emotion.
I realized that, with a single tear. I wiped my eyes in shame,
I am not supposed to feel this way.
Although I did…do, I do.
I do feel this helpless pain.
I can always say to you, that we will be able to work it out.

But what is IT, this thing…..
This IT, that lovers, poets and friends talk about.
I have come to terms with this IT.

IT is us. Not our person’s, but our souls.
The two of us united, IT creates a separate entity, which lives and grows:
IT is our invisible bond,
But that is only an after effect.
IT is of dancing beauty,
A representative of our emotional elect,
Each of us selecting and giving,
To this glorious warmth, which is us,
Between us, dancing, soaring, forming something bigger than the both of us.
IT is the selected best,
These gifts we give each other, forever.

For even if we part,
IT will dance in our minds, eternally together,
IT is in me when I am down,
IT is what brings my head out from depression.
IT is what brings back my smile.
IT returns my passion, my life force, my obsession.

A feeling of greatness fills me,
A feeling so real, so powerful.
A deep heartfelt statement.

IT does not need to be worked out.
IT is stronger than any living self.

So, it should be said, that IT will be able to work us out,
Seeing that we are the unsteady ones.
And IT, our emotional creation, I will never doubt.

I am prepared to give every bit of friendship and energy I possess.

Jus t thinking of you, helps.
I enjoy the thoughts of us together.
I sought you not, for the here and now, and I have never believed in temporary
situations.

You are my completed self.
The whole of me, a wealth of joyous sensations.

My happiness is simply;
For you,
From you,
By you,
IT is you.

To end us, is to kill the most beautiful part of life, I have ever experienced.
And if IT dies, so does life, or at least IT will never be as beautiful, since.

All my concept work experience,
My poem gives precept clearance.
My jobs revealed concepts are inept,
Good work ethics are wisdom’s precept.

Though I was square peg in a round hole,
Never intended to sell my soul,
Doing jobs on which bosses are sold,
For all souls are based on heaven’s gold!

My soul’s precept could never accept,
Job concepts in which souls are not kept!
In double mind standards of measures,
Bull snot’s excuse! For human abuse!

Everyone’s work is to do the job,
Though one is paid more, to be the slop!
Extra benefits(!) for corporate tricks!
These are known as corporate picks.

Premium Member The Lamentation Over the Dead Christ

Michelangelo covered with the hood
Weeping tears as holding Christ, he stood
At the head of the man, who is the Lamb
That became the perfect sacrifice, the great I Am

Putting himself in Joseph of Arimathea's place
Helping Mary Magdalene and Mary Jesus' mother face
The tragedy, that they felt ended Jesus' race
His chance to be the Savior, sent to grace

The world with salvation and kingdom of love;
How each stroke of the hammer guided from above
Perfection of this work you desired for the Dove
When an error occured, you were not proud of

Gave this unfinished work away (to Antonio)
Who for a profit did sell the work for pay
Reconstruction by Tiberio Calcagni paved the way
For the look of the Florence Pieta' today

(The information that I got about this work said that Michelangelo used himself as a model
for the hooded figure. I could just see Michelangelo feeling the agony of the person when he
put himself in their place.)

A Woman's Work Is Never Done

It takes a lot of trouble and toil forgetting you,
But everybody says I’ll find me someone,
But I’ve been working overtime on your memory…
A woman’s work is never done.

It takes a lot of labor and effort to greet the day,
It takes a lot of courage to face the sun,
It ain’t easy but I’ll be getting up one more time…
A woman’s work is never done.

I’ve struggled hard to make a life as if there’s really nothing wrong.
And everybody down at work respects me, and they say I do belong.

It takes a lot of practice at home to get things right,
A fishing pole—and baseball—and B-B gun.
I wrap each package, sign your name to the greeting card…
A woman’s work is never done.

Jigsaw

Confusing as a jigsaw
With just as many pieces
I’m slowly taking you apart
Charting the size of your heart

Cause I don’t want to be the
Cause that makes you heart of ice thaw
Ill sit here like a voyeur
And watch it all fall apart

Love only works if you work for it
Its like a barter system of feelings
Love is a candle that stays unlit
Until the guy with the light brings the heeling

I am only one girl
I have only one mind
You and your problems babe
Are one of a kind

Twice I asked you to be mine
And twice you ignored me
Once I thought of you and cried
Because your simply not for me

Love only works if you work for it
Its like a barter system of feelings
Love is a candle that stays unlit
Until the guy with the light brings the healing

So if you want me
Then tell me
And ill tell you
That I want you too
You’re the jigsaw puzzle baby
And I’ll be the glue

Could Have Been

it could have been so nice
but like every relationship it stood at the side of a dice
you never know if it will work or fail
ours did fall of the edge

it could have been so wonderful
but like every relationship it was like riding a bull
you never know if it will work or fail
we did fall of his back

it could have been so glittery
but like every relationship it was like aiming while you are jittery
you never know if it will work or fail
ours was a shoot off target

it could have been so shiny
but like every relationship it was like a star that can stay or fall and end tiny
you never know if it will work or fail
we hit the ground

it could have been so nice...but it isn't

A Heaven In You

in the morning when i wake and when the sun starts to shine.

and on that stretch of road that leads to work you're always on my mind.

i think of you when im at work cause it helps speed up the time.

and being away from you for so long seems like such a crime.

if loving you is wrong then i dont want to be right.

becuase holding you so close to me feels so good at night.

if i could freeze a moment it would be when i look into your eyes.

because its like looking into a universe as vast as the open skies.

white represents the sillouettes of the formations in the clouds.

and then theres baby blue just like the sky above me now.

as i look deeper into your eyes its like glancing from a far.

the shine in your pupil looks like a cluster of shiny stars.

if i look a little deeper im sure that i'll see heaven too.

but why would i search for heaven when heaven is in you

Art

Your love. That I cared for so much. Was a work of art. That I let you hang up on the wall
thats called my heart. And as I watched your work of art come to life. And fill up my wall. I
became a happy soul. You then drew a picture of us. And I asked you who the third person
was in the painting. And you said it was our little girl. I started to cry and break down a little
bit. I told her she looked just like you. But had my eyes for they were blue. You came to me
and started to cry. I pulled you close and kissed your lips. You smilled with tears of joy
coming down your face. I asked you if. you would forever be mine. And you said yes but
give it time. For you were not ready to say yes. And even though it broke my heart. I told
you I would wait forever. Even if it ment that I woudnt be with you until the day I died. I
took a big sigh then told you. That you were the only angel in my life. And I couldnt live
without you. For you are my better half. So stay with me and grow old. And let time fly. As
we watch are kids grow up and grow old. And then let them watch us die. For once we are
gone we will look down from up in the sky and remember what are love created on one blink
of an eye.

Just Some Thoughts

i hate how much we fight
i hate how much you cheat
i hate how much you lie
but if anything happened to you id die
your my everything
my world
my stars
that sparkle in my eye
ive tried talking to you
breaking up with you
threatening to leave forever
but nothing seems to work
in the end im the jerk
you say im to busy for you
and that im to caught up in my work
well sorry for trying to support you
im trying the best that i can
you dont know how much it hurts you just wanting to be friends
lets see you be me for one day
so you can feel my heart start to decay

Work Hard, Work Harder

Work hard, work harder,
Work hard, work harder.
Be strong, Get stronger.
Be bold, Get bolder.
Say so long to burdens,
On your shoulders.

Always With Me

As I wake up in the morning
the commercial that he thinks is
oh so funny is watching me.
I smile as i think he's always
with me.

As i get half way to work the song
on the radio he has recited to me.
i'm riding past the car he wants
if it was in him means.
he's always with me

Im at work for an hour and the
first client I get has his last name,
although it was not spelled the same.
He's always with me.

i am sitting in the window wondering
if it will rain, suddenly I get a text
on my phone," I just wanted to say
your name"
He always with me.

Two Halves (A Whole)

Love is very simple
It’s an easy thing to do
What’s difficult is trusting
As that’s when love is true

Giving of one’s self to someone
Is in itself, reward
Truly, though, to make it great
You must find shared accord

See, work things through together
If it’s as one, then one shall be
So, reach out to the other
Else the distance set’s you free

Distance isn’t physical
It’s the space that two permit
Grab now, the relationship
To make your two lives fit

It’s all communication
In the things we say and do
So work it out, talk it out
Speak of what’s in you

Lucky Enough

after work I see you
with your big big smile
always glad to see me
always with a big hug
and a "hello gorgeous"
we had to go away during the day
but here we are
lucky enough
to have another ordinary night together
I can listen to your work stories
I know all the characters
I am amazed at how talented you are
with everyone you know.
and then I tell you my stories
and we clean up and walk the dog
then in our bed together
candle burning
all night
