The Stars Must Be Aligned

I lay here mesmerised by the sky so immense,
Observing the stars that are so dense.
The stars must be aligned in this heavenly bliss,
However, I know just by looking, that one is amiss.

Save for those we use, as a birth sign,
Some remain scattered and cannot align.
Because of this particular star so delicate and cherished,
A star that one’s desires are purposefully wished.

I know this star is meant for me,
To admire and only for me to see.
I gaze upon it for a while,
And it’s warm radiance leaves me with a smile.

How do I know one is missing may ask?
To count all those stars would be an impossible task.
This star I speak of cannot be sort after up on high,
For its twinkles originate, from the corner of your eye…..

Aquila (The Eagle) Constellation

Aquila (The Eagle) Constellation

Strong and brave, you are my eagle.
Soaring strength; gliding above earth.
Your light shines past the dark of day.
And brightens love along the way.

Your kindness perceives my wishes.
You fill me fully with your love.
Your helpfulness precedes my need.
You sacrifice your time, good deeds.

Because you are so caring, dear,
The brightest star both far and near!
A humble gift with this love rhyme,
Shall shine throughout eternal time.

Oh, Aquila, constellation.
Gaily in this new kingdom found.
The deed to your bright shining star,
Bought for you where angels abound.

High in the heavens up above,
I give this gift with all my love.
Far away, gleaming in the sky.
Waits your wishing star named, “Ingrid”.

Commemorating life, we two.
Anniversary love renewed.
Forever, dreaming as one heart.
Loving as millennium stars.

Deep Blue Sea

We were meant to be
Our love could fill a sea
A sea of hopes and dreams
Hopes forever you and I
Dreams of floating toward the sky
Holding hands
Way up high
Watching the clouds go by
I look out of the window
Just at night
Hoping to see a star go by
Then I see that star go by
And I think of you and cry
Because I think
That if I lost you
I would die
When I promised to never let go
Baby, it wasn't a lie
Your love is true
It's as deep as the deep blue sea
Suddenly my dreams
Turned into reality
I have that key
That I promised to keep
That key is the key
To your heart
You see?
You're all I need
And much much more
Watch the tide come up to the shore
We're walking hand to hand
Across the sand
I look at you
Then look at the blue sea
I say "This was all meant to be"
You look down at me
Then kiss me
Suddenly I realize
The wish I made has gone by
I see that star every night
And wish for a kiss goodnight

My Only Star

I used to wonder why there isn’t a star in the sky.
Pondering on the interstellar ado
Staring endlessly at the blank cosmos.
I searched for an answer.

I look up and far for my star
Unknown to me the answer had come
I was able to see my star
The star that would shine for me

As days passed, I quietly found an answer
I waste no time to pass
I seemly had a riposte.
I quickly held her hand.

I know why the stars reside
Coz they know you are the brightest
At this canopy I wrote an emblem of my love
I gave to you

This forlorn world might be dark
And even when things are undone
Always remember why I love you
For all eternity you will always be my star.

(This is for you my love Sarrah)

A Star Is a Star

A star is a star
A wish is a wish
But a kiss from you is something i will all ways miss.

Realized

A lady sleeps tonight
on silken sheets, her
cheek soft against
the pillow. And stars
for guides she walks
her dreams, in the
search for her lovers
hand. The hand gentle
of loves caress, the
hand that holds her
future blessed. Amidst
the star dusts fall and
moonbeams glow she
walks where rainbows
hide. For his side she
wanders on, through
the glow and angels
song. Then under the
brightest star two
beating hearts collide,
the galaxy witnessed
a new love born. And
as the lips passed that
first kiss, her dream
was realized in total
bliss.

Adulation Born From Despondency Part Ii

With every beat of my heart...
The rhythm of another soul matches the tempo...
As a song is born from two common people...
So shall their love withold...
I captured a star that danced by on a ribbon of light...
It's my gift to you...
So make a wish...
And let that star shine through the Night...

Picture Perfect (Cont)

Maybe, just maybe, upon your return
We can travel across the blue, cold ocean
Where the salt compliments the sunset at the edge
With the pearl from the oyster and grain of sand
Perhaps then we can climb to the mountaintop
Passing along the way, a snowman with a carrot nose and stick arms
Its top hat and striped scarf bringing out its raisin smile
Next we could travel through the forest, looking out for big foot on our way
To the log cabin made of fallen trees
Surrounding it, my garden of wild flowers that may never grow
In the rich soil and daily drops of water

Together we can open the jar of sunshine
I kept by my bedside and release its warm rays
Later at night we can float up to the sky on the white fluffy cloud
And plant the piece of moon, putting the star on top
The one with the edges and points
In the morning we will find the nights before rain
Forming a rainbow above our log cabin, surrounded by wild flowers
Growing from the jar of sunshine which is held up by the white fluffy floating cloud
That took us to the sky to plant the piece of moon
And the star with
edges
and
points
Where we could look down upon the snowman with
a carrot nose
and
stick arms
Agreeing with his raisin smile,
acknowledging the creation of beauty
from an oyster and a grain of sand

And together make the colors
The colors that do not fade
But simply rest and close their eyes

Love Under Your Spotlight

I feel like holding out FOR you, would mean holding out ON me

and that feeling isn't getting any weaker

Help me to understand why I even consider?

Love not being a factor.

I act as if nothing is wrong.

Yet I'm torn.

Though you believe a Star has been born.

Best Supporting Actor.

Our audience amazed.

While I feel caged.

But my feelings are staged.

Yes, my feelings are staged.

Only cause I feel played.

I feel like the cast that was rated sad.

The one the tabloids called "mad'.

When these lights dwindle from off of me.

My spirit will be glad.

I, will get the award. Yes your "Star" will be born.

Yes I'll wear the glare of the heart that you've torn.

I'll dance under your scorn. With grace and good form.

And I'll smile in the captivity of your memories.

And walk on your line of symmetry

Being loyal to you, while deceiving me.

All this for your fame. To be closer to your name.

Just a peg in the race to be the succesor of your game.

Never mind the pain. This is how a Beast is tamed.

Lights, Camera, Action. I mean, I should be praised.

For enduring your days. When I should have been free.

The tabloids now have everything they need on me.

I've been killed emotionally. Disrespected totally.

While walking in your spotlight. You dared to notice me.

Neglected to boast with me. You've never made a toast to me.

All the while, I've been the one devoted hopelessly.

How was I out of your site? While you were my light.

Your Star is falling. Here comes the end of our night.

I thought I could do this. Wear your armor and be your knight.

But this armor shines brighter than me to you.

That's life in your spotlight.

Jagged Edges

i see her face it lights up the night
she's like a star sparkling so bright
i cannot touch her i cannot reach her
i cannot save her
my chest becomes heavy
my soul now broken
i try to push it all away
in my heart she seems to stay
the heartache she has caused
pointing out all my flaws
i cannot swallow
the warm tears slide down my face
scarring it with feelings of disgrace
the drugs have finally got it all
now who will be there when she falls
i still pray each night and everyday
that this shining star will win this fight
miles apart but always holding
a smalll piece of my heart
i toss and turn when i learn
she has set me free
i guess that's the way it needs to be

String of Star

STRING OF STAR

Getting you as a dream come true
Is the biggest star in my life
I may have four aces
But the star is strange you cannot total love
Even, having a star studded picture
Without you, my star, my sweetheart nothing in my future
Having you is a special feature
The countless strings… you are my life, my love, my future
These strings of stars are pure
You are a star guiding me
You are not only within my grasp, but you are inside me
Before we know it we are one
One singularly one
Forever more!

I'Ll Give You Mine

your love surrounds
it makes me believe
that I can do anything
if you're here with me

I can get through the days
cause the nights are for you
you've hung each star carefully
not to outshine my moon

lay down beside me
lay down your love
and I'll give you mine

for what I have found
I say a little prayer
thanking the Lord
for putting you here

I can get through the days
cause the nights are for you
you've hung each star carefully
not to over-shadow the moon

lay down beside me
lay down your love
and I'll give you mine
