Premium Member Look To the Skies

At times when life seems upside down
and all the world is spinning round,
just lift your head and gaze your eyes
upon the azure autumn skies.

For in the skies, a pure delight,
are puffy clouds of snowy white
just floating softly over head
who’s simple beauty’s left unsaid.

So leave behind the clamant crowds,
and float in cotton candy clouds
that drift the tender skies above
and rest your thoughts in peace thereof.

For in these tender clouds you’ll find
a comfort that will ease your mind
when all the world is spinning round
and all of life seems upside down.

In This Time Of Looming Dark, Look To The True Light

World is dark and racing fast into hell
grab a coin, toss it in a wishing well
have some faith that our Father sees and hears
sad voices crying out in deeper fear
and will always with Love do what is right
be it light of day or darkest of night.

Hold fast, precious Life is so very sweet.
Eternal mercy comes from Heaven's seat.

World now seems to spin so out of control
now fear seeks room within our weeping souls
future is uncertain and outlook grim
yet one must have faith in Light and in Him
for purest Love that gives and never fails
even if calm has now gone off the rails.

Hold fast, precious Life is so very sweet.
Eternal mercy comes from Heaven's seat.

World has in the past looming dark beheld
mankind has too oft catastrophe spelled
yet survived to go on to live and strive
so thank God we are here and still alive
living, breathing and asking all the more
for divine hands to save us, we implore.

Hold fast, precious Life is so very sweet.
Eternal mercy comes from Heaven's seat.

Rhyme, ( When Faith And Hope Are The Keys To Sanity )

Note:
Friends, the refrain in this new poem came to me while
I was writing the start of a new poem for my,
"Lesser Known Poets Series. I immediately wrote it down
and stopped writing the new poem for the Series.
I decided to write this poem to address the uncertainty
and immense fear that is so very prevalent in our world.
And give the message that as grim as it may seem now,
our loving Father will not abandon us! Have faith and know
no power in this universe supersedes that of Father, Son
and Holy Spirit, the Trinity.
May God bless and comfort you, one and all..

I Look To the Moon

I look to the Moon, hanging aloft
Among the clouds so milky soft.
How must it feel, so high above?
So chilled and bleak and void of love.

Collapsed and sunken are his eyes,
Dark and deep as the onyx skies.
As the Moon shies from the sun,
I share no love with anyone.

The Moon is alone, without affection.
In its grim face is my reflection.
Inside my heart, the longing grows,
And rots my soul, a sickly rose.

While I look beyond this cage,
I clench my fists; they shake with rage.
I desperately stare above,
Wishing to fly, free as a dove;
For release from the troubled heart I claim,
To be finally rid of the madness and shame.

Although reprieve is found in song,
To no one does my soul belong.
In music, may the pleas be spoken,
But all in vain; the heart is broken.

The Sphere returns, begins to sigh.
We are not so different, You and I.
So twisted and fractured is the White Stone.
We both have no one; We are both all alone.

As flower to the sun, I look to you
As thirsty grass that drinks in drops of dew
As river flowing down to waiting sea
I live again with you a love that's true

I’m lost to life when nestled in your arms
Your lips, your eyes, your body full of charms
I enter softly in your shrine of dreams
My vow to wait the scent of you disarms

Your breath upon my body, how it thrills
Your mouth my hunger with your tongue it fills
I gasp for breath for I am overwhelmed
Your pilgrim hands have reached the sacred hills

I faint with pleasure as you touch inside
My fantasies lie bare and opened wide
You speak to me in urgent whispers low
A plea to let you taste of passion’s tide

Intense becomes the rhythm of our love
Your eyes devour mine from up above
I hold to you as both our souls break free
A blazing flight of eagle and the dove

As flower to the sun, I look to you
As thirsty grass that drinks in drops of dew
As river flowing down to waiting sea
I live again with you a love that's true

Look To Tomorrow With a Smiling Face

You wander upon your path in pursuit of happiness,
as you toil through the days that come.

The bystander watches as the moments of joy roll past,
your very eyes –
Oh, What this life has become!

You see life for what it should be,
for what it was,
for what it could be.
And not for what it is,
but for what it must be.

For life is the clay that you must shape,
into such a castle, such that others can but gape.
Such is the thought that circles each mind,
that dictates each word and action of each kind.

For, we – we run, skip and jog through our days,
forgetting to stop and take notice –
The world is changing in a myriad of ways.

And change, it is beautiful,
whether we resist and persist,
to bring consistency in the flow of the river of life.

But a river must flow over rocks and boulders –
so must life.
For, there is no fun to the boat ride,
without a little topographic strife.
Understand this, you must,

that life is no game.
Life isn’t a farce, life isn’t a race.
For life is your journey, your story,
and your only faith.
So rise,
and look to tomorrow with a smiling face.

if in doubt look to the river for inspiration

If you only shout,
And are full of doubt,
On how to carry on,
When you turn the radio on,
Or no longer turn the tv on,
As fake is the new norm,
Interspersed with news of a new storm.
It may be time to take a walk by the river,
Even if the morning frost makes you shiver.

Find a quiet spot,
To observe the river's lot,
And you will be left in no doubt,
That peace of mind can be found,
In the comfort of a river that in life abounds,
With the warmth of the rising sun,
Giving it a sparkle that is fun,
And leaving you in no doubt,
Of what life is all about,
As you find energy enough to carry on,
And meet your own series of rapids head on.

Wolves Look To the Moon

Drawn, as the turning tides

Wolves look to the Moon,

Soon all howl in unison

In plaintive, lunar croon.

An emotion, primal in it's form

It touches us inside,

If we but felt the depths of it

We too, may have cried.

Premium Member Look To the Sky

Go to sleep my sweet
I’ll sing you a lullaby
You’ll hear the bluebirds tweet
As you look up to the sky
Reach high for the moon
And touch the shooting stars
Set free your red balloon
To float way up to Mars
Goodnight
     My little buttercup
          Goodnight

Look To Jesus Not the Pastor

It seems like many in churches
 are “out of touch…”
Depending on their pastors
 “way too much!”

Spiritual warfare they don’t comprehend…
So many being burdened
with so much sin!

Each Sunday, as they hear
 the pastor’s voice.
They trust him to always make “God’s choice.”

Trusting their denomination, they think they’re “wise.”
Looking to what is appealing
 to their eyes.

Keeping busy and doing the “Sunday thing.”
Not realizing the emptiness this can bring!

Jesus must be the focus of our love and attention…
It must be his word that is
our source of direction!

We can’t just base our lives on a Sunday sermon.
It’s our heavenly father we
must always be serving!

Our pastor cannot live the life we ought to live!
A dedicated life to Christ
 we must daily give!

May you sacrifice your life for Jesus…
 Your king!
He is our savior and redeemer!
Our everything!

Look To the Sea

With waves crashing to my feet repeat in timeless cavity;

Stranded through its idle pull in our ellaborate flames...
Shallow pools in its left over residue plain yet what to do?
Still,
Look to the sea...

Onto a far off distance after she would marry me
Let all evil now flee,
The turning of the dial in its exquisite source
Look to the sea,

A waves tumbling then what to believe
A grand fulfillment in what to achieve;
In long lines we will find,
A tollerance for truth yet one drop of a dime

In time we can come to a reason for while we are alive?
Look to the sea a reason to believe,
What have we achieved?

Our fallen economy collapsed at its seams!
Scream
Through the notion of laughter a tear drop fell
Amidst the excursion an inner swell

We look deep through the pyramids amidst its timeless cavity...
Look to the sea lest I refrain amidst a traverse glue hero's are game
A line drawn in the sand,
When will we ever understand?

Look To the Cross

when I look to the cross
I see my life's not all at a loss
I see all the things to gain
a life free from guilt
free from shame
when I look at the cross
I know in times of brokenness
I was not to blame
Jesus was crucified
and died
so he could be by our side
our Guardian through all of life to come
a life where gods' will be done
no matter what life may bring
when we look to the cross we can sing
lifes situations can try to crush us on every side
life can be cruel and tough
but we have peace we have hope
we have assurance when to the
cross we look. Amen

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

1 Peter 2:24

"He himself bore our sins" in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; "by his wounds you have been healed." NIV?

 Hebrews 12:2
Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Look To Yourself

When brightness is fading and the darkness appears,
Hope is all gone and nothing is clear,
The answers’ are inside to help you grow strong,
So look to yourself and you’ll never go wrong.

When life seems a struggle and sadness takes place,
The smile that once shone now a frown on your face,
Tears falling like rain while heartache takes hold,
Just look to yourself and you’ll never grow cold.

When people are judging and not lending a hand,
Criticizing your nature because they don’t understand,
Just take a deep breath and come back with a smile,
When you look to yourself you can run any mile.

When negative energies are pushed onto you,
You’ve lost who you are, positive feelings are few,
Dispel it with love and your strength deep within,
If you look to yourself you’ll be sure to win.

So always remember when you lose your way,
Confusion sets in and peace has now strayed,
To look to yourself and hear that true voice,
Its there if you listen, to help make a choice,
Just waiting to lift you and fill you with love,
A positive glow from our friends up above.
So know in your heart that you’re never alone,
Just turn to the light, the place I call home.

Look To the Minds Eyes

Microscopic observations on display,
Subatomic collisions, violently exploding into the next phase,
Uploading word combinations on this holy day,
Through consciousness and biochemical ways,
Into an array of influential thoughtful wordplay,
With no ignorance to lead astray on this written page,
Is this just hearsay and staged within our systems cage,
We easily disengage as inner rage circulates through our veins,
Because fear has been ingrained and taken over our brains,
Daily life easily draining inner accomplishments and gains,
Governments and social movements creating stressful strains,
The tricks within the matrix keeping us locked within chains,
So remove yourself from the constrains,
And get onto this subatomic campaign.

Because this is knowledge and power inscribed and applied,
Ignoring curiosity is magnified intellectual suicide,
Ignorance or awareness, you need to choose a side,
Put aside ego and pride,
It’s unjustified,
So I’m going to tell you my opinion of why……
This world is full of lies, yes so many deceitful lies,
The current ties of spirit and flesh solidifies,
Forgetting self is what occupies our present sense of I,
These word combinations are to teach you to look to the minds eyes,
From now to the day you die,
Try to apply what’s being described,
So be wise, go and mentally scribe like a rabbi,
And always give thanks to the universe that’s always nearby.
