A little angel, with tears in her eyes,
tries to hide her broken wing.
Keeping it furled to reduce it's size,
hoping no one would notice a thing.

Soon it would be time for angels to fly,
their mission to assist mankind.
Though weary the angel continues to try,
though she knows she will be left behind.

She doesn't want God to know,
that she chose to do the wrong thing,
She went to where oceans flow,
hearing the music made her heart sing.

But angels were not to travel alone,
all trips below were to be shared.
The little angel went on her own.
Broke her wing, was hurt and scared.

Her only option was to confess,
how she had broken her wing.
Her sorrow she would profess,
softly asking for just one thing.

Facing God, she asked him to forgive her sin.
He observed her, but had nothing to say.
But, when she saw his gentle smile begin,
she gave a joyful thank you, and flew away.

A sweet little angel from heaven above
Came into your lives to care for and love
So tiny and perfect from fingers to toes
She'll capture your heart each day that she grows
Her smiles and her giggles contagious to hear
Will fill up your home with laughter and cheer
So cherish each moment you have her at home
For time passes quickly and soon she'll be grown

A little angel said to me,
"just believe, just have faith and the answers
you seek will come."
And indeed I just believed, I just had faith and the answers
did come, just like my little angel said to me.

An angel on my shoulder
Whispered to me
Go that direction
See what I see

I followed for a while
I wanted to live right
But me and my angel
We started to fight

I said I have free will
You don't need to stay
Still my little Angel
Wouldn't go away

By ignoring him
I made the wrong choice
What I thought was freedom
Was a different voice

This one alluring
No rules it said
Follow this way
I proceeded to be led

Down a spiral staircase
I started to slide
I seen in the distance
Hells gate open wide

Oh little Angel
I see what you meant
Please Lord Jesus
Stop my descent

I thought I was too late
Yet stopped in my tracks
My Lord and Savior
Was able to hold me back

I trust in the Angel
The Lord gave to me
Rules I thought were bondage
Have now set me free

Fly High Little Angel

You fly high little angel
spread your wings and fly high
fly high little angel
reach your hands to the sky
got all of us asking ourselves why
you had to go so young
you were only five
now everytime we hear your name we'll want to cry
While staring up into the heavens throwing a Kiss to the sky
knowing your up there looking over us with that beautiful smile of yours
one that could lighten up every room
One that we all adored
we'll see you again one day babyboy
yeah we'll see you again one day
see you again one day babyboy
see you again one day
I catch myself crying each and every night
gripping my sheets and my covers tight
wishing you were here again id never let you out of my sight,
just wanting you here to hold tight
But knowing that your watching over our family
sometimes makes it just a little easier on me
and even though he took you before your time to go
you fly high little angel with your halo
Fly high little angel with your halo
this goes out to mat and brandi
and the rest of the shewmake family
can't forget the ones that are practically family
because you don't have to be blood to be ken to me
Another thing helping me cope at night
is closing my eyes and holding my hands together tight,
talking to him like I could see him in my sight
asking him if I'll ever be alright
right now id settle for just being ok
trying my best to make it through a day
where I'm not constantly wiping these tears away
asking all this as I pray
hoping he's listening to every word i say
knowing you'll be there waiting at the golden gates for me,
when it happens to be my time to leave
but for now cherishing every memory
till again you are reunited with me
just for now I'll have to let you go
so spread your wings and fly high little angel with your halo,
fly high little angel with your halo....

Mommy's and Daddy's Precious Little Angel

Mommy's and Daddy's precious little angel

It was very late about 2 in the morning
You woke up crying for mommy
I rocked you back to bed
You fell asleep on my chest
As I listened to you breathe
And the sound of your heart beat
I thought about
The day we met and how I just couldn’t believe
What a perfect little angel God was letting me keep
The moment I heard your first little cry
My heart and body let out a sigh
I was so relieved you were here and healthy
Everyone there rejoiced in your presence
Because a little angel was just sent to earth from heaven
As days passed on and mommy grew tired
Something more beautiful happened
You continued to light my heart on fire
My love and heart belonged to you
And each and every day our bond had grew
Now every time I see your adorable smile
The thought of leaving your side hurts even for a short while
My dearest baby girl
The light of my soul
I know one day you’ll move on as we grow old
But these days when you fit so small in my arms
I will cherish for eternity and beyond
Just remember when you are all big and grown
That mommy will never forget
The sleepless nights when I held you close and watched you sleep
Because these are the most perfect moments I will forever keep

When you were born you filled my heart with pride,
And I was overcome by the joy I felt inside.
As I held you in my arms that very first day,
I knew I would never let any harm come your way.
With your tiny little hands and tiny little feet,
Everytime I look at you my heart skips a beat.
As I watch you sleep in the middle of the night,
I hope and pray I will do everything right.
I know I may make some mistakes along the way,
But I promise to do my best not to every single day.
I often wonder what you will grow up to be,
But whatever you become will be fine with me.
So whatever you may decide to do in your life,
Maybe an astronaut, a lawyer, or even a doctor's wife.
I can say this without any doubt at all,
I will always be there to catch you if you fall.
And another promise I make to you from me,
Mommy and Daddy's little angel you will always be
In dedication to our wonderful little pride and joy

Our Little Angel

We put you down to sleep in your crib
We awakened to find, you were taken by SIDS
It was Sudden Infant Death Syndrome
That took you away from our home
So early in life, you were taken away
We're left behind with so little to say
The question of "Why?" fresh in our minds
The answers, we may never find
The pain will linger on for many years
We just have to fight, to hold back the tears
For we must go on with the rest of our lives
We must look at this tragedy through God's eyes
Our baby is in Heaven, He's our little Angel
We must look to our memories and be very thankful
We miss you, Our Angel, so very much
In our hearts, you'll always be loved

God's Little Angel

My little Caylee
you were only three
how could someone have taken you from me

on a summers day
you went out to play
now someones buried you in mud and clay

but do not fret my little angel
for they will be caught one day
whether man or woman God will have his last say

as balloons and clowns will return that smile
gods taken your hand to hold for awhile

you will forever remain etched in our hearts
for God has given you a brand new start

though you are a millions miles away
I can still hear your laughter while you play

My little angel who I never knew
it makes me sick for those who had no clue on
how you could of been a doctor lawyer or a nurse to help the few

like I said have no fret cause God sent his crew
to return his little angel and start anew
for their is other parents that will love and hold you

Fly Home, Little Angel

“Come fluttering words, come drifting to me...” A Rambling Poet

A gentle breeze brings me the soft smell
So familiar it calms my tear-filled eyes instantaneously.
I venture closer to the source.
Two ebony, round vases resting atop a sill.
The scent of the roses and carnations flit about me,
As they did about her so little ago.
Yet we have laid her softly
After she was slain
Into the moist, soft soil from which her scent derived.
Always like a butterfly did flora float about her.
So small, and pale, with mahogany hair
When we found her lay flared about her delicate head
Like the halo our Father gifted her.
For it came about in such a gentle flow
And jade eyes, calm as the sea
In which we found her
They sparkled like the sun dancing off the waves.
Her eyes were open, and matched the swirling surf.
The tears flow silver from my own emerald orbs
I peer into mucky puddles lying about
And see her face in my own.
I bore her from my womb
Yet our Lord has called her home
To save her from the world's cruelty
An Angel to watch this land
I stopped to smell the flowers
Not rushing bust taking life in time
The wind blew by my ear
And I heard the whisper of a little Angel
“I love you, Mommy”

Daddy's Little Angel

She is just a baby
To young to understand
Her little bowed legs
Her longing out stretched hand

The world revolves around her
As far as she can see
She can't yet comprehend
Why mommy and daddy disagree

She's walks and talks
She listens and she learns
She now has a vague idea
For what daddy always yearns

Mommy yells at daddy
Daddy yells at mom
So very little changes
It just goes on and on

A little older now
She hates the arguments
She lives and loves the both of us
To her it makes no sense

Why mommy loves her daddy
And daddy lovers her mom
Yet they fight with such bitterness
And seem to mean such harm

Then they hug, kiss and love
Things so much improve
And life is so much happier
Her hurts and fears are soothed

She sees the danger coming
She has seen it all before
Quietly inside herself
She's prepares for a war

The house explodes in violence
The accusations fly
The chaos just goes on and on
As bitter years go by

Daddy's gone the fighting stop
But life is none the better
She's always wanting her daddy
In her hand she holds his letter

The letter's from her daddy
She reads it with a tear
Her daddy he's so far away
She wishes he was near

As he writes with anger
She can almost see
The evil men in her daddy's world
What terror that must be

Her daddy writes the loving words
She wants to hear him say
She reads of all his promises
He says he'll prove to her one day

She Just wants her daddy home
She doesn't even care
Things could be just as they were
If only her daddy were there

I know that it will take some time
I know there will be pain
But for rainbows and for sunshine
First there must be rain

There always will be storms
Life is just that way
But when this storm is over
Maybe her daddy will come back to stay

Here I make my promise
To my first baby girl
The life you've always wanted
Ill bring you in this world

I know that when your dad comes home
he will show you what he means
All the happiness you deserve
Is coming in your teens

Just wait a little longer
God protects us all
One day we will recover
From this, our biggest fall

Little Angel, you've got your wings.
Heaven greets you as a choir sings.
Sadness you will feel no more
as you pass through Heaven's door.
On your way, free at last.
No more pain, its in the past.
Those you have left here behind
will grieve when e'er you come to mind.
Little Angel, fly on high
as with heavy hearts we say goodbye.

Little Angel

I was just a baby and not even one
look mommy and daddy, look what have you done

You hit me abuse me, even I was small
I'll never understand why you did that for?

I was all in bruises, I was all in pain,
I was beaten up, again and again

I suffer neglect beating up, and more.....
to your little baby why you did that for?

You gave life to me, was the reason why?
Why didn't you love me? Why you let me die?

Wished to be somebody, do good things in life
but I had no chance I couldn’t survive

God took me to heaven God took care of me
as a little angel I am finally free

Now I fly with angels in the sunny sky
And ask them with tears why I had to die?

I miss mommy and daddy, even they were bad
I’m not even angry, I’m not even sad

Time will come one day they see me again
And then I will ask them if they can explain

Why you didn’t love me, why you let me die,
Why you let me suffer? Will you tell me why?

Now I’m little angel I will never cry
Oh mommy and daddy
Why you let me die...

This poem is for beautiful baby BRIANNA, she died on July 19, 2002,
from the hands of her parents and her uncle, she was only 5 months and 5 days old baby.....
It's hard to hold tears to watch the video.......

At the same time, it's for all the children suffering any kind of abuse....

A Little Angel

A little angel came to Earth one day.
but he didn't come here to stay.
Three years was his time limit. His
parents did not know it then, but
God for him, had a plan.

The day he was born, to everyone he
brought joy. His parents loved him from
the start. Manuel Zachary was his name.
He grew up pretty quick.

While he was here, he spread smiles, love
and star dust everywhere. His family loved
him very much. He was their little Angel
from above.

Three years he was here to spread his love
and joy. One day he heard a call. It was God
calling him home. His parents couldn't
understand - why with them - he couldn't stay.

Now he is back where he belongs and from
there he watches over them. Every now and
than he gives them a sign. He spreads some
star dust, to let them know that he is still
around...

Pretty little angel don't you cry
I'm gonna sing you a lullaby
Wipe those tears from your eyes
Pretty little angel don't you cry

I'm gonna bring you an apple pie
Spread your wings so you can fly
To the moon in starry skies
Pretty little angel don't you cry

I will pick for you some daffodils
Where unicorns roam the hills
I'll bring you stardust from the sky
Pretty little angel don't you cry

As I sing this lullaby
Wipe all those tears from your eyes
Spread your wings so you can fly
Pretty little angel don't you cry

Little Angel

Behold there she lay peacefully,
covered in warmth quite meticulously.
Her snow white eyes blinked,
as she sought to establish the place.
A smile warm as the sun rays,
from her lit up our hearts.
Ebony black hair atop her head,
her face beaming with joy.
A priceless gift to us all,
from our maker the overall.
We wish countless fortunes,
upon this little angel.
That the fountain of blessings,
may well over her life.
To always live in His favour,
for all times and seasons due.
