Best Life Giving Poems
I am the cornerstone
In the legend of timeless Oaks
That so profoundly stand alone
Magnificent in strength and age
A noble guardian of longevity and resilience
My permanence and stamina
Is willed to rise above all other trees
Yet hold the ground deeply rooted
And take my solemn vow of continuance
As the sovereign commemorative
To the ultimate power of eternal Mother Earth
I enfold the spirit of the Origins
Spread over fields of enduring horizons
Of timeless Suns and Moons
And shifts of transformation
I hold the secret of this beacon of wisdom
This core of breed and birth
For this, the Tree of Life
I am the last - the only future
I am the heritage seed - the acorn
Given to shed with the passing of time
As the chronicle offspring of ancestors
To be reborn in the singular act of purpose
To reach far in my branching to the sky
As the gateway of earth and heaven

The rain is soaking the land bringing much needed substance to the young flowers, trees and plants. The following day all is rife with colour as the once dropping plants come back to life.
rain falling softly
bringing life to thirsty land
with blazing colour
The drought at last ended, everywhere is full of promise as the cycle restarts. Arid lands now blossoming and blades of new grass feed the hungry cattle. Life once more is good.
sun shows happy face
she warms soil bringing forth life
bees buzz happily
Now comes a time of plenty as crops ripen in the fields, the groaning apple bow under their burden. The farmer's wife sets forth to gather them for apple pies and crumbles which will fill happy belly's.
life is affirmed
crops are gathered for harvest
will last the winter

Powerful message of hope
Eternal God did not make death
Nor rejoice in the destruction of the living
God is in the side of life, not death
Father Christ is touched by the death of a young girl
Restores her life and gave to her parents
What a beautiful loving action
The fact remains
All of us will pass through death
But our spirit will not
Someday will be reunited with our body
Well share Eternal life with Eternal God, our love ones
How shall we live in the meantime?
Life is precious gift from Eternal God
To share in Father Christ’s life
That can take serious forms
If you’re married
Build a strong loving relationship with spouse
If you’re a parent
Care of children as first priority
If single/divorced/widowed
To become the life-giving
Make part of the world little better
More beautiful
For God formed man to be perishable

Life-giving blue lake filled almost to rim
Brings beauty and delight to ones full of dreams
Gives plentiful to migrated Canadian geese
Offers cozy homes to duck families
Meditating Cranes stand by banks
Male Gobblers dance charmingly ruffling their fans
Red-tailed Hawks, Kestrels and Eagles circle over high
Searching for tasty meal using exceptional eye
Clever Blue Jays show presence by daring loud quacks
Chirping Robins feed on insects in small cracks
Scurrying squirrels enjoy hidden nut feasts
Draw packs of howling coyotes
Grassy greens become playground for scampering rabbits
Nourish Black-tail Deer with scrumptious treats
Ornate blooming fields of wild lupines, larkspur and poppies
Heighten magnificence of surroundings
Bursting woodlands of Digger pines and varieties of Oaks
Provide blackbirds, quails, towhees and wrens continual homes
Filled with moderate hills and dirt trails
I’m in awe of the splendor of the landscape
Glorious sunsets heighten beauty of the lake
Displaying shades of yellow, orange and fiery red
Astonished by generous affluence from dear Mother Earth
I bow to her feeling gratified and loved

Imagine a world with no colour in sight, or laughter
To cheer the weary soul,
No sunshine to clear the grey skies away,
Nor emotion to express
a simple smile,
what would life be without the
Beauty of friendship
Like the precious friendship
Between you and me,
It’s the simple things that make life
Worthwhile.
It is often said A Little Kindness goes along way
And it is like adding colour and sunshine to someone's
Dark and rainy day to them you are
Their light their candle that burns so bright
Through the darkest of nights
With love and hope giving them the strength
And a reason to cope.
Friendship adds beauty to
One’s life and warmth to their heart,
By sharing and giving plays
An important and vital part
Helping them get through.
It brings happiness
Adding laughter and sunshine to
Both yourself and the dear friend
That is you, I would do anything
To help cheer you as that is what I simply
Love and live to do making
Others happy when they are blue.
I promise to always be there for
Precious friends like you.

It Cost Something To Follow Christ!
When Christ chose to die for us on the cross.
He knew what it meant. He knew what it cost.
When I chose to give my life 100% to him.
I knew that a new journey was about to begin.
It cost something to follow Jesus. It really does!
It begins to happen when we give him our love!
It cost giving up a life that I was living before!
It meant giving up many “pleasures” and much more!
It cost some of my friends, and many bad habits!
A new life in Christ... I want to have it!
Whatever it may have cost… I count all I’ve gained!
I’ve discovered the beauty there is in Jesus’ name!
I’ve found a new way of living that I never had.
I’m rejoicing in knowing Christ! I am so glad!
The tempter often comes and reminds me of my past.
I remind him that I have a life in Jesus that will always last!
I’m not perfect. I still have a long way to go!
But I have a peace and satisfaction within my soul!
I’m grateful to Christ. Words cannot fully express.
With him in my life. I am so blessed!
Whatever I lost. Whatever the cost. I count it all joy!
The principles of God’s word is
what I seek to employ!
God is my shining light and is always around me!
I am so glad I know him and that he found me!

Have You Felt Like Giving Up… Lately?
Have you felt like giving up…
Lately?
As the problems in life have
been building up greatly…
Is there something in life that’s
“dragging you down?”
Any peace and joy in life
can’t be found?
Perhaps you feel like: “There’s no
use for me trying.”
Everything I’ve tried isn’t working
nor is satisfying.”
I have GOOD NEWS! Please listen to
what I have to say!
There’s someone I know who
can change you today!
Jesus is here now!
And is waiting for you!
The choice is yours…
What will you do?
He can pick up the “broken pieces”
and be your friend
He’ll bring true joy and
forgiveness within.
He alone can bring fulfillment
and content.
No matter how many “wasted years”
you may have spent……
A message of salvation and
a new life you can obtain!
Simply reach out to him…
And call on HIS name!

Fertility
You're the life giving goddess,
Let me fertilize your expectation
emptying my seed while cupping your richness
and soon your pregnancy furrows
Begin to swell
lush and green.
Feast of dreams,sustenance of my people;
Your body is a temple giving and giving again
And when the harvest leaves you barren
I will let you stretch fallow and rest before ravishing you and spilling seed once again
my fingers in your moist darkness,
touching and loving your unselfish giving
your womb's splendid infusion, corn and wheat
in breeze's blowing.
You breathe life into the child
with fierce breasts, your mounds of nourishment.
I bow to your naked purpose
proclaiming my servitude,
reaping your glorious bounty.

Light Verse
Writing on the bathroom
walls
Their names scribbled
A thousands of times
Cause these girls want
to give up their treasure
For some quick pleasure
But don't think the girls won't talk
Cause they will
Being here
Sitting in this room
Being a part of the girls who talk
Makes me feel mixed up
Cause their is nothing wrong
With sex or giving it up
It's your choice
But have some respect
for yourself
One two many guys
and it starts to have a different
Look,smell,and name
Before it was just about giving it up
to the guy she loved
Now she's giving it up
to his friends and strangers
Come on girls
Your name is all over the walls
and you could care less
You know girls are gonna talk
At least be discreet about ya S.H.I.T
You wanna get it on
Don't let anyone else catch on
It's your Porrogative
Be a closet freak
Don't open the closet
So everyone can see?
Cause I truly don't like
to be the girl to talk about you
It's just when you display it
like a concert that everyone can get tickets for
What do you expect?
Clean bathroom walls and stalls
Come on?

Free verse
He said he would go to a new place
Said he wanted to see some new faces
Was tired of the same old thing
Wanted to fulfill some dreams
He saw some things on the television
He was destined on a mission
Kept on hoping and wishing
Figured he would be really persistent
Yeah he was ready for the world
Like giving a nut to a squirrel
So anxious and ready to go
Thought things would move fast, but they begin to move slow
Started hanging out with some guys
His truths became lies
His life at a halt
Not giving much thought
The days went past
The weeks carried on
The months flew by
The years of a young boy scorned
The dreams that were once perpetuated
Of a boy that long ago had no hesitation
To tell the story of his success one day
Seems to have faded away
That’s when reality hits
You begin to think about what once was
And realize you were so busy trippin
That time kept on slippin

Up bright and early with HORUS
Enjoying the sounds of the Morning Glory chorus
Feeling the energy and riding with RA at noon
Beautiful, warming rays piercing my skin like a harpoon
Coming down a bit after noon, moving towards SET
But still shining brightly 'cause it hasn't gone down yet
Now OSIRIS is looming very near
Cooling down, yes, going down, about to disappear

The sun, a tyrant, reigns with scorching might,
Days bleed together, a suffocating night.
My soul parched, I yearned for a cleansing rain,
To wash away sorrow and ease the sun's pain.
A tremor in the air, a whisper on the breeze,
The clouds gather close, promising sweet release.
The first drops fall, a melody so sweet,
A gentle caress on the parched earth's cracked feet.
The sky erupts, a cathartic release,
Washing away sorrow, granting sweet, cool peace.
The earth drinks deeply, its thirst at last quenched,
With a sigh of relief, the world finally refreshed.
Laughter mingles with the drumming rain,
A joyous celebration, a cleansing refrain.
From my window's perch, a vibrant scene unfolds,
Leaves glistening green, a story yet untold.
A collective sigh, a balm for the weary soul,
Hope blossoms anew, as the storm makes us whole.
For in this downpour, a truth we all see,
We are one with the earth and the creatures that be.
