Dragon Drive

Dragon drive

Under the pillow is a fantasy land,
A land ruled by a magic wand,

Everything seen is never like before,
Joyous breeze, all pervading azure sky,
Exclusive floor, Grecian design crafted on a leather surface,
Scales with uneven contours,
Back view tapers with conical protruding shapes,
Frontal goes as high upto the fire flame,
Some jerky movements-fire out,then smoke
GHOSH! Why am I here?

Seems like an onset of earthquake,
Both sides stretch wide and wide,
I roll on the expanding surface,
To see myself on the head of a dragon,
Things happen so fast ,no time for fear
And instantly by its reflexes,
Makes me feel wanted and secure,
More than docile, it seems angelic
Conveys a motherly warmth and care,
Komodo dragon, may be senior of the reptile family,
Very unlike the iconic animals-
Belligerant,ferocious,despicable,
Brimming with sunny flames.

Do I have to choose….
A place of fun ,wonder,safety,
Joy,kindness,support,stress free,
So tempting….
And down there ,deep down,
The world is dull,dreary,weary,
Violent,greedy,jealous,stress prone,
So pathetic……

Where should I go,
I want to make a difference,
Minimize evil through my resources,
I can make a difference, for the better
I have to go, there is so much to do,
I have to give my share,
I want to go, I want to go……
Is that mom,..Amy baby,wake up
Where do you wanna go?

Web of Life

Komodo dragon has serrated teeth
And anything crocodile grabs in his jaws is dead meat
The flowers make nectar that is sweet
But everything that lives must eat

Nature can balance it all
But we believe in existence of soul
Is there more
Something beyond evolution’s control

That which truly might be bliss
It is evolution that needs no reference point through abyss
As intelligence from this point will grow
The great tree of life rises like spring flower from beneath the snow

Premium Member Breaking News: Geico Gecko Missing

BREAKING NEWS:

There are unconfirmed reports that, while filming a new advertisement campaign, (on location), on the island of Flores in Indonesia, Martin the Geico Gecko, was eaten by a local komodo dragon named Varanus. Initial info suggests that Martin was taunting the komodo, but that is NOT yet substantiated.

Details are just emerging, but it seems Martin, whose body has not yet been found, (pictured here just moments before the tragedy), was initially bitten at a post-shoot party given by relatives, and was later attacked and eaten on his way to the Bintang Flores Hotel, after succumbing to the effects of the initial bite.

In a surprising twist it has been discovered that, even if they DO find his remains, his immediate family has no means by which to provide a funeral service or decent burial as, (according to a family spokesman), they are "just lizards" and have no regular income, (please contact the family if you'd like to help out).

Even more shockingly, they admitted that Martin was sadly "uninsured" ... so tragic. Let's pray this is just a hoax, and that the "little green bugger", (as he's affectionately called by his agent), has simply wandered off in a state of instinctual bliss. We're told this DOES happen sometimes with his particular species.

There is, as yet, little investigative information or hard evidence for authorities to proceed with, as the only witness was a rare Mascambing Cockatoo, who has since mysteriously vanished without a trace. Before its disappearance, however, the cockatoo was heard by many people as repeating Martin's last known words, ad nauseum, "Eat me, dragon! Eat me!"

They DO have the primary suspect under surveillance. However, due to the slow digestive habits of komodo dragons, it may be some time before any "solid" evidence emerges, and even LONGER before they can find a forensic specialist willing to analyze it, (it's a rather messy business, that). Please watch for further updates.

Premium Member Lizard - Pleiades L

Lazing on sun-baked rock
Leisurely flicks out tongue
Lithe critter scurries past
Lightning reflex triggered
Lethal toxins subdue
Loathsome maw rends soft flesh
Luckless prey digested

I've always been fascinated by the Komodo Dragon, which is the world's largest lizard. They may appear slow and cumbersome, but their massive size belies their speed when presented with a potential meal!

Premium Member Keeping up with the Joneses, who are weird

Because I'd been good for a very long while,
my parents decided to buy me a crocodile.
Then all the kids on the block
thought I really did rock.
Till two weeks later,
another kid’s parents decided to buy him an alligator!
Shoot! And now some kid’s braggin’
his parents are gonna buy him a Komodo dragon.
Oh, my God! This is way over the top!
Will this neighborhood competition never stop?

Premium Member Braised Himalayan Rabbit

There's an eatery here in my hometown I'd heard about,
That features exotic wild animal fare so I thought I'd check it out!
I perused the menu and here are a few examples of its bizarre cuisine:
Slow-broiled and marinated Indian elephant spleen;
Delectable bar-be-qued Texas style rib of rattlesnake;
Tender sixteen-ounce portions of grilled hippopotamus steak;
Choice butterflied pork tender-loin from corn-fed por(k)cupine;
Wild Arkansas boars' feet boiled and pickled in spicy brine;
Fresh flown-in daily from Alaska, deep-fried buzzards' gizzards;
Finely sliced sauteed tongue of Komodo Dragon lizards!
I decided to order an enticing delicacy that really caught my eye;
'Twas a dish called Braised Himalayan Rabbit that I thought I'd try!
I asked the server about its origin and its preparation mode.
"First" said she, "we find him-a-layin' on the road!"

(At that I stifled a roiling barf and from there I quickly strode!)

Swing

Three young kids sit on the double swing
In nearby woods nightingale will sing
As kids swing on the swing
They talk about everything

They talk about adventures in distant places
Light of joy lights up on their faces
To the south tropical beaches
To the north cold breezes

The animals like polar bear in frozen tundra
Mongolian death worm in distant Asia
Wolves chasing caribou following the alpha
Komodo dragon, ropen from New Guinea, and Indian king cobra

View from the swing is far towards north, south, east and west
Each of brothers will have his own quest
The swing is place where they will rest
As they will expand their families crest

The swing reaches far to the air to great expanse
The vastness of that expanse
Makes children’s young souls with joy dance
It is like a dream a romance

But as fresh air reaches the lungs the vision inside it will turn to transcendence
The vision of to universe counterbalance
The spirit that will begin as one writing universe laws and end in brilliance
Equal radiance at the end from base and planetary destiny absolute eminence

In worlds most distant waters children want to swim
But for now let them dream
Swing so small so large to a child will seem
They will remember the wonder years when one day they realize their dream

No Pacts Between Lion and Man

The jungle covers Shiva temple the forest is dark and deep
On the outskirts there is wreck of old ship
Once upon a time many people would come to worship
But now few are brave enough to make this trip

But sometimes fire in the temple burns at night
As tiger shows its fearsome form in moonlight
As fire burns in temple’s insight
Tiger’s eye reflects fire’s fury and light

The fire that burns is supposed to make statement on worshiper’s soul
But the light in tiger’s eye will only bring dread into the man’s soul
But this is tiger’s role
And if one looks closely into tigers’ eye it is sadness not mayhem that is in his soul

For so few tigers are left in the wild
Are there going to be any at adulthood of a child
For creatures some killed for fur some because they are reviled
Are despairing from last places to which they were exiled

On a distant island Komodo dragon looks up at the moon
It is time to hunt this late afternoon
This majestic creature is the real dragon as he passes the sandy dune
But he also might be gone quite soon

Slithering Meat

Reptile meat got a foul swallow
The creeping things they eat
emit putrid vapors ...
vocal odors lemmings do follow

Falling off the cliff
into the mouth ...
Bask in the saliva nasty

Get paralyzed stiff —
a human mouse ...
Cheesy flavor of a patsy

Snakes eat rats
Big boa sin swallow up
little mice men

Slithering meat
is an abominable eat

Humans eat the snake
that ate the rat
Viper lip spitting fake
was a lying cat

Ouroboros wail,
head eating the tail
Gator toes tipping the scale;
safe open ... lock failed

The creeping things you eat
will give you weasel daydreams
Gorge on the slithering meat,
digest Bubonic Plague schemes

Snakes eat rats
King cobra sin swallow up
pawn mice men

Humans eat the snake
that has flicker love for the Mickey
Fork lips spitting fake,
Komodo dragon claws blood lickey

Ouroboros wails,
serpent head eating the rodent tails
Tapering toes charm the faint frails;
jaws open ... heart failed

A wicked, pulmonary feed
is slithering in the high, tall weeds
A taste of paralyzing greed
will molt covetously into evil deeds

Breath of Life

Huge Komodo dragon walks like a cowboy trough forest of dreams
In the very essence of soul he swims
Like endless maze of divinely beautiful flowers the forest seems
However it is also full of thorns, bizarre clusters, stone winds and impenetrable extremes

Each flower can give life and each can kill
This is the eerie exciting feel
From underneath bad fortune is reversed by balance of judgment’s will
The reflection of porcelain sky thunder is increased by its version of beyond esoteric wheel

The sorcerer gathers the thorns and creates a brew
He knows justice by himself he must do
To his own self he will remain true
Bouncing of what cannot be named nirvana gives flight that is smooth

But it is the stone wind increased by essence of soul
That is surrounded like island by theory of all
The stone wind will complete the final goal
To truly free the suffering soul

Marigold

Tall nettles above man’s head will reach
Tiny lake like stream reflects staring into it visage
Above the lake huge dragonflies dance
The waters of the lake show true reflection of one’s soul

Beyond the nettles Komodo dragon poison spews
One can see abyss in his eyes
On the side of the great oak before the forest
There is a spellbinding marsh

On the marsh there is marigold
It bright yellow petals are like rays of the sun
They grow on marsh but their roots are in my soul
The memories of their divine smell spirit awaken

Marigold reflects beauty of the light
But it can see pain here on earth
On earth they are symbols
Of true clairvoyance and promise of peace
