Lizard - Pleiades L

Lazing on sun-baked rock Leisurely flicks out tongue Lithe critter scurries past Lightning reflex triggered Lethal toxins subdue Loathsome maw rends soft flesh Luckless prey digested ------------------------------------- www.howmanysyllables.com = 6 6 6 6 6 6 6 (42) I've always been fascinated by the Komodo Dragon, which is the world's largest lizard. They may appear slow and cumbersome, but their massive size belies their speed when presented with a potential meal! 15th April 2017 For the "Pleiades L" contest sponsored by Kim Merryman.
