At Once Into Blind Empty Space, At Once Into Her Arms

At Once Into Blind Empty Space, At Once Into Her Arms

How can it be
Something so unwittingly described
Can break me
Remake me
Turn me to the sorriest of fates
And still fill my heart
With this happiness of late

How can she wound me so
Yet heal all the injuries I have ever known
With her existence
But alas, not her presence
Which sifts its way so tenuous
So tender through my thoughts
The merest pin prick and point of a feathers touch

Settles such a succinct telegraph of love
Nestled sleeping it was
Always in my heart
She wakes me but shakes me to wishing dreams
To disregard the alarms of early birds
And curl forever in the warmth of sleep
Where I lay always next to her

How do I survive without her

When everything I am
When everything I am is wrapped and entwined to her
Though I live and breathe
The indrawn falls upon my empty
And every expression, which defines me
Troubled and at peace inside me
Soars on every possibility of her

How can I fly so high
But still be dashed and dragged to these rocks
How do I fall so shattered
And yet still be constantly reborn
Struggling through a morass of unrequited kisses
Yet gliding free on the ripples she sends
With those same unfelt and untested lips

Parted so, yet her spirit prevails
I feel the wish of her lashes softly closing her eyes
The sliding soft comfort of her embrace
As she takes and holds my empty hand
And all the caution in the world
All the alarm of early morning birds
Cannot halt my rushing head long
At once into blind empty space, at once into her arms

How did I have a heart
Without you
What life was there
Where soul
My love
Who was I
Without you

And though I live and breathe
I expel each breath on the empty
But every expression which defines me
Is bursting with firework delivery
Colours in the night so laughing
With the unknown embrace of how you love me
And how I so desperately love you in return

( My friends
The soft and compliant daggers of love
I know you know so well
  Sharp cuttings of tears
And the ever expectant solace of their smiles )

A distant dampness wrings the air.
A weight most profound presses chest
as indrawn breath holds silent;
in the stonehedge of overwhelming gloom.
So, the mighty have fallen
auguries of a mortal doom.

Without missive,
bluestone bones, stanchions silhouette
onto a plane of pastel sky.
Gargantuan, they rise, a tomb.
So, the mighty have fallen
auguries of a mortal doom.

Brittle brown blood expunged
by millennium three,
the still, symbolic, oak forest rises.
Frozen sarsens, five, forming an open grove.
Megaliths beaconing a golden eastern dawn

So, the multitude will rise within the circle
without earthly substance, soul;
through green grasslands loam
ashen augury of a different tome.

The air is clear & crisp its feel
While foliage full, the trees are still

A breath indrawn my senses tell!
I dread December as the devil dreads hell.

Premium Member Still...Life

Still as a summer's morn
Still as the heart..love lorn
Still as the veiled dawn-
Still as a heart that mourns
Still as a portrait drawn
Stll as memories..time-worn-
Still as ambition...indrawn
Still as a promise...forsworn
Still as an idea...inborn.

Still Time

Life's so abundant with misery,
nature's practicing metamorphosis,
generously tense and uptight, lifts
no lightness, steady with its frost.
Gray is the Sun, trenchant clouds,
rustles of trees reveal the night,
entering but dispossessed. I hear
strange voices cry, shadows cross the path
close press us unaware, a silhouette
salutes the eye, its curtain drawn.
Let there be darkness, darkness illuminating
darkness, we cannot aid or mitigate, ask
no beauty to intercede. This cramped moment
is not mine to give, though far apart from
worshiper's time, Spring's spirit. Still
is the time, its folded garment by no motion
stirred, fabricated remnants fled to sky,
no thunder peels through the absence,
life was once so abundant, sustained
in open fortitude, spirit flowing, hopes flying,
the raindrops loitering like domes of pink and purple,
their buffet gone, fraught with pain, quicker than
breath indrawn. Spirit alone can regenerate a
safe haven, lessen the convolutions vast,
lift up again hope's incapacitated body, reeling
under the torrent.

Water - Fall

Water - fall

An ocean of breathing
Indrawn to gather
Light sustaining
Swimming the patina of enchanted eyes
A myriad of scintillating bodies
Dancing
Permeating everything

Such colour forming in Day-Glo
Sunlight breaking
The night time beach of stars
Waves eternity into being
These proprietors of the heavens
Transmit informing messages sent deep into my soul

Sweeping green from leaf to expanse
In misted mountains stand echoing
My skins warmth embraces cool breeze
My heart transforming
Becomes a waterfall
To the dizzy height reaches
Asking me to
Let go
Let go

Let it go

Before a sky exulting the breadth of its sphere
Before the poignant branch which holds aloft
Everything created and encompassed in my eye
The permeating truth
Floods through blood
Races the pulse contained in my veins
I hear a single indrawn gasp
Of wonder

Sunset becomes dawn to another
As fire clouds bring their bastion of secrets
And kiss their blessing
To the open mouths of the Earth
And in my feet where my body sung
To a thrown back head and out flung arms
While the million drops
Beat out their rhythm
Of one
A sea of breath
Exhaled to discover
Life sustaining
Creating the pattern
Of eyes awakening
And their multitude of shining forms
Dancing
Whispering
I
We
You
And me
I am everything

throwback and forth

moments
indrawn moments
when the cave
returns to haunt
taunt
the soft thing

once wild uncomplicated beast
that knew the taste of warm. raw meat
whose roar would, make
the modern Ms.
twist and hide
and does

feel her stretch
to tear the bonds of flesh
that bind her to this century
she is not long gone
but bids her time
her time...no matter when that is.

Premium Member The Ravishing

A chill wind bites coyly at exposed necks,
not yet draped in tourniquets of wool.
A wrapping of white, buries ribbons of asphalt.
The ways fills with metallic horsepower.
Goblets of slush like spittle fall, splat,
upon once virginal snowfields.
The rape of Winter had begun.

Rutting like rabid beasts in heat,
the roadways lay revealed before the power of the storm.
Cumulous clouds belch from grills of chrome.
As Winter like the Sabine Women, weapon in hand,
pummels the oncoming horde with icicles.
Power falls from an angry, cloud-filled, sky
weighty and white, Winter defends herself.

The surge of day brings forth an endless tide of travelers;
trampling her breast, ravaging, the once pristine vista;
shredding the thin veil of purity, only the Goddess brings;
laying waste, in mounds of mud like filth, The Mother.
She curls inward. Her indrawn breath freezes gears
grinding, screeching, shrieking the earth succumbs.
In snow like ash she lays vanquished.

Descriptions In a Leaf

Descriptions in a Leaf

An ever expanding moment
Deciphering equilibrium
Encrypting chaos
Convergence spilling outward
Breathing indrawn gasp wave staccato’s
The designs intricacies

Pandemonium of links
Events
Patterns cast on scenic sentience
Picks out the radiance atonement

Perception floating
Anchoring on that moment
Refracts the clues resonance
On an equal curve
Spiraled inward
In countless deliveries
Of green
Imparted memories

Veined in the dissection
Of atomic anatomy
Splitting sun solar systems
Initiating
The retinal collisions
Of sight defined edges
Blades poised
Suffuses viridian

Hangs there connected

Ship of Dreams

A ship in a dream pointing
her shapely shadows from the shadowed dawn.
The image tumbling on a castoff rose-swept bay
and sweeping waves.

I watched in vain this drowsy ship from an older day.
Sails billowed in the swift winds sway.
Amidst the painted mid sea-blue waves caressed
the shore-sea green.
Taking in awe and wonder my breath indrawn the salty sea air.

I watched through timeless dream shades as alas
she sank into the moonlight.
The sea was only sea all was left the
dream with me.

In the Shade of Half Eclipse

In the Shade of Half Eclipse

Silence…………………………………………….

Portent breathing

Light diffuse
Scattering bird song

Silence……………………………………………

Indrawn momentum
She held

Prophecy by hands cling
To premonition

Light fading
Dispersal of half moon shadow
Reaped by tufted grass

So hushed………………………………………..

Encumbered by trepidation
Shade deepening

Held by half eclipse
Nature freed by expectations darkness

Half moon shadow
Half moon light

Unveiled the fairy land

Half Past Eternity ( France 2000 Heading To Spain )

Half Past Eternity ( France 2000 heading to Spain )

Hush late night
I’m not driving home
Sleepy slow
The thrum of wheels
In an orange lane light glow
Whispers through the window
All autumn leaves and vodka
Days first hint squints through
Nothing but stillness hits the air
To music shattering
The moments mesmerized hum

“What time is it ?” she asks
and leaning on the steering wheel
I am forced to smile
Its not peace or depth
With which she filled me
Or the whispering of the tyres
Eating up their miles
But the breath indrawn as she wakes
“What time is it ?” she asks

Leaning back in the day breaking
Her seat still empty
Yawns to stretch her dreams away
Overtaking the engine humming
My dogs panting keeping time
Is it happening ?

And I pass the edge
The road sweeps the wind open
And I drive beyond the horizon

“What time is it ?”
and I have to smile answering
“Its been a long while”
but drowsy has got to slow
and now its time for her to go

“What time is it ?”
and I answer her softly
“Hey my love, where have you been
“Its only half past eternity”

Devoid

Three petals down, I feel moss-grown...
Nightcore is the tempestuous phrase,

She feels withdrawn, I reclose,
He indrawn his heart, I disclose...

Until this night is over,
All alone, I can't fight my fear,

Trapped in my anxiety, I battle the four walls,
Fragile piety, am a wrecked gall...

Snugged in my heart, infinitely a hold to.

The Unknown Fruit

Silent waters always are said to run deep;
And looks often end up in deception
As venturesome finds do in exception
Bring forth reward to cherish and keep

A trekking crew found on an desolate hill
An odd tree with feathery leaves wide spread,
And plump, tempting fruits coloured  red ;
For a while the dazed gapers all stood still ....

The younger ones rushed forth to pluck ,
Before the slower few could warn or prevent ,
And lavishly bit off with wild thrilling content ;
Wildness now overpowered the lagging ruck

Moments of ecstasy did there prevail  ;
Like the Greek heroes on the Lotos island,
Each was lost in the indrawn wonderland
And every spell was slothful and under sail

Oblivion covered up the place and time
Thoughts and senses  to  iceberg  had frozen ;
Trusted arms and fingers refused to fasten ;
Order, rhythm, and breath lost their prime

Chance and daring had brought them there
Temptation did prompt the eating of it ,
Smothering and closing all ways to quit ;
Everything lost and nothing found anywhere !

Living has its own marked margin and domain
No courage dare cross Nature's set ambit :
Taste or possession of things odd is out of wit --
Perhaps trying the forbidden fruit over again !

Premium Member After a harvest of queensland cane

I was awed by the noise..As breath indrawn.? Of mighty
Giants in unseen form..' immediatly after grew the
Vivid lemon walls..towering ramparts a firestorm! fissures
Of red, glints of blue..With a marching noise a crecendo
That grew..Then the road before us began to move as
All types of creatures; as if in a torrent flew.' Snakes and goannas rats and mice, wallabys you name it? All in a trice! no
Animal lingered! or fought with another' they were escaping
From the powerfull flames that smotherd..The octane roar drowned
Your senses alright..!! Sugar cane fields ablaze at night.!!
I'll always remember the workers nearby with machtes at their
Smoko's and that lurid sky.'
