Ship of Dreams

A ship in a dream pointing her shapely shadows from the shadowed dawn. The image tumbling on a castoff rose-swept bay and sweeping waves. I watched in vain this drowsy ship from an older day. Sails billowed in the swift winds sway. Amidst the painted mid sea-blue waves caressed the shore-sea green. Taking in awe and wonder my breath indrawn the salty sea air. I watched through timeless dream shades as alas she sank into the moonlight. The sea was only sea all was left the dream with me.
