Premium Member If I Were An Igloo
If I were an igloos I would be different than the others,
more flamboyant.
Painted in rainbow colors,
I would play hip hop music, and I would wear
a colorful, feathered boa, sprinkled with glitter.
There would be loudness,
And frenzied dancing, possibly screaming,
Especially after the polar bears...

Premium Member Ice On My Igloo
Ice on my igloo
  roads frosted over
Cursed, cutting cadaverous cold
deathly chill from Calais to Dover

Thought it was nippy
  but my fingers are numb
Arctic algidity all around
  winds whistle, envelop my town

Why must we endure
  gelid, glacial Siberian air
Is...

Igloo
Snow over a foot deep
Thrown into a big heap

A pile we will make
If not for the kids sake
For an igloo they will undertake

Through the hole I will creep
Not a word I shall peep
Lying here trying to sleep

As I begin to shake
And my back begins to...

I-Igloo
I, I, I, I – indeed!
Inspired, induced,
incorporated Inverted illusions in imaginations.
Ideas inexplicable ingress,
ingrained invisibly intact.
Iridescent Igloo! Impressive!
It is immaculate, ineffable,
icy ink inmost intrude,
inlaid Igloo instantly!
I in interjection,
inflicted infancy influx,
innocent interpretations,
inviting Igloo! insistently, in situ.
I ...... increasingly inflated...

My Desert Igloo
Through giant glass panelings
impressively thick and tinted,
protecting and protective

of this impeccably efficient
industrial fortress, for ages
my desert igloo, for wages,

I peer beyond the dusty swirls outside,
          losing...

These giant glass panelings

losing count of my lost decades inside

Villanelle: Brand not a nation as Satan’s igloo

Brand not a nation as Satan’s igloo
All nations on their own play Satan’s role
If S/He created you, then Satan too

It’s the Satan in you brands other too
For the Satan in the other’s...

Wearing thick garments against summer blaze
we huddle with joy* to smite freezing raze
amidst absence of snow
since such fact we all know
while virtually shut inside igloo's glaze.

Romans 15:13 - "Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may...

Bluebird, if you only knew
How deeply lie fond thoughts of you
And though there's not much I can do
A glimpse you've had, a small preview
Of different ways I have to show,
To tell you, and that you would know
The only place I want to go
Is...

One Winter
David J Walker
It is a drifter
	Named winter
Who never
	Keeps promises

One winter
I moved into an igloo
In the front yard
But only for an afternoon until
Mother called us in for hot cocoa

I loved to sled
I loved to stand at the window pain
And...
