Best Humanhood Poems

The Fate

Young Billy hood
Stood like a wood,
Thinking about life
Failing to have a stronghold,
I too, a branch of humanhood
Knows and cares about your
Troubled mood.
I bet others understood,
stop swelling like a parachute
This is nothing but the truth,
Your fruits and growth are hand in hand.
In the eyes of fate
Time is not late
But articulate,
So hope to drink and eat and cloth.

I Am Worthy

This is for anyone who was ever rejected by their family. It is a deep wound and it's challenging to overcome. But healing is a process and you are loved and cared for by God and His Angels.

I have a family member who was born gay in the 1950s, when it was even more challenging than it is today. He was beaten by his father and really struggled with his identity and self-acceptance. He never managed to live his life freely and with self-love. It's a sad and moving story, and I wish I could've changed this experience for him; but that would require a time machine and a few miracles.

Let's be free of judgement and prejudice. Let's love and accept each other for our magnificent light and humanhood. No one is truly better than another, no matter what we think or feel.

Remember: The Universe needs you. You're special and a blessing.

I am worthy

You're my parents
You brought me into this world
I'm a part of your family
You're part of my soul

We're connected
Through time and space
Through our soul contracts
Our relationship and soul lessons

As I grew older
Developed into myself
I realised that I
Was different from others

But I knew of your bias
Your fears and bigotry
And realised that my
Authentic self was hideous

To you, to our family
And it made me insecure
About where I stood
In this big, big world

The lesson I had to learn
Was to love myself
For who I am
No matter the doubt

For I am a blessing
I am worthy of love
I am worthy of dignity
Kindness and support

A life of happiness
Joy and acceptance
I know the Universe
Needs my essence

Each of us is part
Of a greater pattern
Sparks and energy
Quarks and atoms

God and His Angels
Guide and bless my path
For I'm part of the Universe
Part of its precious heart

Wild At Heart

Wild at heart
By Michelle Morris
05/04/2023

I am wild at heart
I am wild and free
I want to be like the creatures
Out in the world I see

They are so precious
They are a visual delight
They're cute and cuddly
They live and they fight

Their survival is waning
As humanhood expands
We take over their habitat
Ignore environmental concerns

They deserve a life
That is precious and free
Where they can be wild
Without fearing extinction

I am wild at heart
I am wild and free
I want to live in a world
Where wild creatures all can be

Thank you @wwf for sharing this photo* by Thomas A. Jefferson. The vaquita is critically endangered. There are only 10 remaining.

"Vaquita, the world's rarest marine mammal, is on the edge of extinction. The plight of cetaceans—whales, dolphins, and porpoises—as a whole is exemplified by the rapid decline of the vaquita in Mexico, with about 10 individuals remaining."

Keys To the World

Keys to the world
By Michelle Morris
22/04/2023

We give the politicians the keys to the asylum
And then wonder why the world is going crazy
We the fearful and cowardly populace
Of a cruel dystopian existence

Why do we do this?
Why can't we stand together?
Surely even the most humble among us
Could do it so much better?

Instead of creating solidarity
We seem to be pitted against each other
Always somehow feeding their agenda
The one percent that does no lasting good

They'll convince you that they're awesome
They'll flood you with their humanity
But behind the scenes so often the truth
Is hidden in horrible ignominy

And yet we still give them all the power
We still allow them all to rule
Being born with a silver spoon
Is no cause to be given a throne

We keep giving the rich and powerful
Keys to the world at large
Like the most beautiful pearls from oysters
Where we're just left holding the shells

Having wealth and power is a privilege
Is doesn't make them any better than anyone
So often those velvet ropes they own
Are bought by leather whips on the backs of slaves

Those from savage shores afar
Those from savage lands so near
By labelling them as such
They convince themselves of human inequity

Forgetting the rights they trampled upon
Forgetting the lands they took by force
Building mansions and estates all over
And claiming they're elite and better than all

It's time for history to be starkly revealed
It's time for penance and monetary appeals
Let us snatch those keys from cold, rich hearts
And give back the land and heal bodies and spirits to all parties

We keep losing the keys to the power hungry that take it
But those are not the rightful choices
It's time to entrust the keys to those who've earned it
From lowly born to hard working humanhood

Path To Hell

Path to Hell
By Michelle Morris
09/02/2023

They cut down the trees
No more paper was to be had
No more personally written letters
No calligraphy or beautiful script

They shut down the electricity
No more advances in technology
No more communication between us
No zeros or ones across the globe

They destroyed our real food and water
No more wholesome goodness for our bodies
No more sustenance for our minds
No more energy for our souls

They took away everything
No more homes or schools
No more churches or learning
No more options to earn a living

All that was left was piles of money
Worthless paper, valued against nothing
All that was left was emptiness
Humanity broken, souls aching for Heaven

But Heaven was closed down
Not enough interest
Instead of enlightenment and love
Humanhood bred disbelief

Can we reverse the sands of time?
Can we shed these mortal shells?
Can we let go of ego and control?
Can we reverse our path to Hell?

At no point have we truly learned - yet
History seems to be an ever widening spiral on repeat
Is there hope for us to change?
Is there any light that's not a destructive feat?

Nature does not need us
We need Nature
God does not need us
We need God

Let us write missives of love
Let us communicate with pure hearts
Let us fuel ourselves and others with positive energy
Let us be constructive in all our endeavours

Let us remember that money is merely paper
Let us remember what is truly valuable
Let us treat Nature and God with respect
Let us embrace our souls in light and healing

Let us stop our path to Hell
Let us pave the way to Heaven
Let us be connected in light and love
Let our hearts beat as one, forever

Letter To the Women

Letter to the women
By Michelle Morris
04/03/2023

This is a letter to the women
For all those who need reminding
You are powerful beyond knowing
You are created from stars and light

You are key to our survival
You bring forth life from your own being
You are mighty and fierce and beautiful
You are crowned by grace and peace

Exalted and worshipped and loved
Betrayed and hunted and burned
Feared and adored and embraced
You are the home of our humanhood

Never forget your origins of boldness
All the proud women who came before
We are the future in the making
For our children globally to love more

Never forget your strength and courage
You can do anything with determination and support
For imagine if we all stood together
How much better life would be here on Earth

Mortals

Mortals
By Michelle Morris
31/03/2023

Here we mortals turn to stone
By our hardened hearts
And callous disregard
For each other and our planet

Let us embrace our humanity
And melt the hardness and tar
That holds us down and immobilised
That keeps us from freeing our souls

Imagine the light that burns deep within
It's inside you and ignites your soul
For you are starlight and stardust
The Universe's magic untold

Here we mortals can illuminate
The dark abyss and limitations
When we remember our true forms
Greater than humanhood bred or born

Let us embrace our divinity
And free the bonds for all to feel
So that we can rise higher and incandescent
Collectively beyond the present

The Universe Knows

The Universe knows
By Michelle Morris
20/03/2023

The Universe knows
All that we say and do
Each of us matters
In the story of humanhood

God and His Angels
Guide and bless our path
Our souls are infinite orbs
That light up Heaven's heart

When you feel unseen
When you feel unworthy
Remember that you were made
In the cradle where all souls are birthed

We each have a purpose
We each have glorious starlight
We're created to be infinite joy
And the Universe knows our flight

The World Moves On

For a friend's partner who lost a family member. May he rest in peace. Even if you feel alone and the World moves on, there are people who keep you in their thoughts and prayers.

The World moves on
By Michelle Morris
31/03/2023

We held your funeral
Your death was in my face
No longer can I deny
That you're out of place

No longer with us
Into the realms of mystery
Where heavenly creatures
Hold you for eternity

The World moves on
The Universe keeps expanding
But here I stand
Forlorn and filled with sadness

Everyone else has a life
People who need them close
No more time for my misery
No more time to cope

No more time for feeling
Everything that I do
People survive and choose life
By mourning and pulling through

It's the way of humanhood
How our species survives
We have to have hope
In order to thrive

But there are people
Who'll be there in the shadows
Who'll keep you in their thoughts and prayers
And bless your soul with tomorrow

Even though the World moves on
And the Universe keeps expanding
You'll be able to cope one day
With love, compassion and understanding

If I could stop the hands of time

If I could stop the hands of time
By Michelle Morris
20/12/2023

If I could stop the hands of time
If I could turn them back to the beginning
I would fix it all
I would heal everything

I'd make us a better humanhood
I'd create peace and happiness with Light
I'd promote hope and faith
I'd ensure everything would turn out right

But all of this is wishful
For life is messy and complicated
We're all evolving with growth and changes
We're all adapting to circumstances and Fate

And ultimately what would I achieve
Stopping our souls from these many journeys
Forcing God and His Universe
To expand Heaven and Hell with yearnings

If I could stop the hands of time
I know that it would require great trust
To let them fly free and onwards
Until Death turns us all into dust

For nothing is truly forever
And everything truly is
For we are everything and nothing
We are the reason the Universe exists

Manifesting through us creatures
We mortals, complex and cruel
We sinners and saints and miracles
We, the reason for Karmic rules

For the Universe needs us
Or maybe we just wish it so
Because if we were no longer here
The Universe would still grow

Premium Member A State Called Regardless

A State Called Regardless

There had been no births in the family
for 30 years
no one knew how to put on a diaper
with two pins
old relatives marveled at the baby
heaven sent wonder to be loved
simply because, it is a baby
and it’s here, regardless.

The baby became the child growing as children do
with no assumption of others
a solitary reflection in a clouded mirror.
Soon they tried to fit a large ball into a small box
filled with dozens of smaller balls.
The large ball bounced freely, off walls, into streets,
not cute and lovable but undeniably obnoxious
and they had to be happy with it or show some kind of like
to remain in a state called regardless.

It must have been a strange feeling
knowing you weren’t people and didn’t
share a common humanhood
lending no clue as to what this was.
Here, we had an adult, locked in a mode
forged by other people’s desire or lack of
screaming fire out the playhouse of life
in a self-centered universe
called regardless.

Those old relatives had long since gone to graves
and there was only one
one person from a whole line of persons
Were the elders watching over their miracle baby?
Did they know of the loneliness they had caused?
Imagine, all that generational weight on one being.
Fate, destiny, karma?
Whatever, it left no choices
but living to carry on, solitary
in a state called regardless.

Faith, Hope, Love

Faith, Hope, Love
By Michelle Morris
03/04/2023

Have faith
Faith in something great
Greater that humanhood
Greater than all the Universe

Have hope
Hope in today's gift
A gift for each of us
A gift that is as great as we choose

Have love
Love is everything
Love is everywhere
It connects every being

Let's have faith and hope for the best
Let's have hope and love in each other
Let's have love forever

Soul Life Freedom

I have always stood up for good and right. I can understand how challenging it is when you stand alone and are vilified by those who want the darkness to win. However, if each one of us stands together for love, light, good and right, we can become a tsunami throughout the world. May Light prevail against the Dark. We are all souls, united together. Blessings.

Today I was an activist
I stood up for what was right
I didn't do it through a petition
I didn't do it through a fight

I humbly gave my voice
To where there is a dire need
No need for paint on canvas
No need for protests in the street

The quiet, calm voice of poetry
Using words as the strongest weapon
For anyone of intellect knows
That words live beyond oppression

The greatest warriors and kings
That ever lived among us
Learned that words have power
They create the greatest magic

This doesn't mean that protest
Or destruction has no merit
It merely is a reminder that words
Outlive every regime and warfare

To stand up for the good
To stand up for integrity
To stand up for humanity
To stand up for liberty

I may never know those people
Whose rights and life I support
But like a pebble on a pond
I know the ripples will flow forth

And may these ripples of right and good
Flow through every heart and mind
And touch each living soul
'Til we remember our connection to the divine

For we are all connected
We are all one heart
And what we do to one
We do to every part

Each of us can feel it
Deep within our soul
So denying the darkness is there
Won't ever ease the whole

Collectively we must rise
Collectively we must do good
Collectively we can do better
Collectively we can heal humanhood

Today I was an activist
As I have always been
Please join me in this quest
For we can all do the right thing

Let's stand up for right each time
Let's do it as part of our nature
Let's create the strongest voice
Of humanity's love and light in action

Premium Member Stand Up

What a shame on the airlines what a show
Over the Country now what we have is a shadow
When over so many years our soldiers bestowed
Their families, hearts their lives their brotherhood
To keep our rights freedoms free and fine at such a price
Remember the prize they have given us from their sacrifice
Though we have made horrible mistakes I know that's true
And with the following years there are things we must undo
Justice calls, opportunity and vision even though the law is slow
While so many of us sing the songs of our country ’s honor
Celebrating with flags and picnics while there was much we did not know
Still celebrate and sing through the lands with humanhood
And comprehend the work that must be done and we must do
Standing up for the future by standing up for the good.

Headstones

Headstones
By Michelle Morris
12/01/2023

We put headstones
On the graves of our loved ones
Names and dates and epitaphs
That cannot summarise a life

That dash in between the dates
The dash that encapsulates everything
And nothing of human existence
Except joining two dates of significance

For almost everyone knows
When they are born
A starting point of a journey
That takes many forms

But not everyone knows
The day they will leave
For these are matters
That Fate can turn quickly

And all that is often left
On the battlefield of Life
Is a headstone that gives
Basic information so trite

For what is humanhood
Left in graveyards so full?
Headstones and shades of grey
Flowers the only colours left for onlookers

For what is the meaning
Of each person's life?
If it can be reduced to few words
Carved on stone or granite?

But if one looks deeper
Into the souls of the living
The feelings are there
Beyond what headstones can fathom

For deep in our hearts
In our minds and our souls
We want to feel like our loved ones
Have found their way home

But if they should be lost
Let them these headstones peruse
And find their own coffin
Amongst the dark rows

For neatly and designed
The graveyard is created
So that the living and dead
Can find themselves later
