If I could stop the hands of time By Michelle Morris 20/12/2023 If I could stop the hands of time If I could turn them back to the beginning I would fix it all I would heal everything I'd make us a better humanhood I'd create peace and happiness with Light I'd promote hope and faith I'd ensure everything would turn out right But all of this is wishful For life is messy and complicated We're all evolving with growth and changes We're all adapting to circumstances and Fate And ultimately what would I achieve Stopping our souls from these many journeys Forcing God and His Universe To expand Heaven and Hell with yearnings If I could stop the hands of time I know that it would require great trust To let them fly free and onwards Until Death turns us all into dust For nothing is truly forever And everything truly is For we are everything and nothing We are the reason the Universe exists Manifesting through us creatures We mortals, complex and cruel We sinners and saints and miracles We, the reason for Karmic rules For the Universe needs us Or maybe we just wish it so Because if we were no longer here The Universe would still grow © Michelle Morris, 2023
