Stand Up

What a shame on the airlines what a show Over the Country now what we have is a shadow When over so many years our soldiers bestowed Their families, hearts their lives their brotherhood To keep our rights freedoms free and fine at such a price Remember the prize they have given us from their sacrifice Though we have made horrible mistakes I know that's true And with the following years there are things we must undo Justice calls, opportunity and vision even though the law is slow While so many of us sing the songs of our country ’s honor Celebrating with flags and picnics while there was much we did not know Still celebrate and sing through the lands with humanhood And comprehend the work that must be done and we must do Standing up for the future by standing up for the good.
