HOW DO YOU DO By James Edward Lee Sr.

You just walked by
You didn't say anything
Well, How do you do?

How Do You Do It

How do you do it?
When I'm upset or crying,
You always say something,
To make me smile.

How do you do it?
When I'm angry or hurt,
Your always there,
To make me feel better.

How do you do it?
When I'm shy around you,
You hold me tight and kiss me,
Saying everything is going to be alright.

How do you do it?
The way you smile,
The way you talk,
The way you kiss me,
The way you hold me,
How do you make me fall more in love?

How Do You Do

How do you do
Is how do you feel

How we are doing
Is how we are feeling

How we are feeling
Is how we are living

Now we aren’t feeling
Is now we aren’t living

Premium Member where is how do you do

Big smile
Hello
How do you do?
Screech on your brajes,
No one says that anymore.

How do you do? Has been tossed out with “you’re welcome”
They have both been kicked to the curb, under a dumpster.

Don’t believe me?
Get yourself served somewhere.

When you say “thank you”
If the waitress is under a hundred she is going to say “no problem”

Where is “how to you do?” I liked that one.
Spoil alert: it is in the alley under the dumpster with “you’re welcome

So Haiku How Do You Do

So Haiku How Do You Do

While floating down river in a canoe,
Was reading haiku like I usually do,
Which had been yours from the start,
And never pulled our minds apart.

High haiku once was hidden away,
After I read through low haiku today,
Into my head this thought was hammered;
Which one with was my mind enamored.

How Do You Do It?

Smiles on my face,
As we embrace,
I know not what to do,
When I am around you.

The feelings that I have,
Just cant be bought,
Cuz' the feelings that I have,
Are those of love.

I dream at night and even day,
And it makes me wonder how you make me,
Love you that way.

When our eyes meet,
Romance at it's peak,
I start to feel weak,
As our lips meet.

Words are flinging and flailing, ferociously flipping and flying.
I watch it happen, helpless to get any control; for they are frenzied.
My muse rolls her finger around her ear, indicating their craziness.

Isn’t part of this ….us? I ask her? Trixie has answers for everything.
She puts her finger into wet paint on a brush and flips dots on a page.
They begin to prance around, making perfect poetic prose.

How do you do that? I ask her, amazed. She is a wonder.
The words start rearranging themselves, until they are even better.
Numbers try to find a place but they are annihilated with a look.

Trixie and I both despise math.

Quick hello before unleashing gossip.
What could be more fun?
Oh yes… finds something to complain about.
Makes a point of it.
Never happy until she does.

How do you do?
What do you say?
How was your day?
My love just stay
In my arms
Through supper time
And into the morning
Cuz you are mine
Let the questions come
Till silence ore takes them
And we ease our way
Toward sleeping today

How Do You Do?

Let me talk to you again
aimlessly
foraging,
figuring out a way to meet.
Where do my many words
alight to reach their home.
Sent off in the hope to arrive.
Over walls, hurdle or leap
take to the air these little ones.
And all said is easy that says
I will love you forever.
More difficult to appoint a
time – how about next Tuesday
at 7.30pm precisely?
No need is greater when needed.
How about a healing.
Only the fluent say what they
are really meaning.
Or can only one word seals our fate.

Premium Member How do you do it

People ask how do you do that?
I have no answers
I just do it

writing comes naturally
as does cartooning and painting
poetry was a bit trickier for me

I studied the various types of poetry first
maybe because I wanted to get it right
or maybe because it did not seem natural

how do I do it?
I am not sure.
I just do it.
