Spare Change

Pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters
A pocket full of change
Cast into a well of hopes
For wishes we exchange

Some will wish to find true love
Others for fame and wealth
The young may wish for a longer life
While the old wish for health

Friends may wish to ease the pain
Of a loved one fallen ill
Or when the road gets rough
They wish for strength and will

A few may ask for selfless things
Like cures and world peace
To stop the violence in our streets
And all the suffering to cease

But today I toss without a wish
My money you have tendered
It’s just my way of saying thanks
For all the wishes rendered

Pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters
Lobbed into a wishing well
Such a simple, yet sacred place
For hopes and dreams to dwell

A Way There'L Always Be

Hard and long the journey may be
Tired and worn you may be
Disheartened and discouraged u may be
But always remember
A way there'l always be

you will always have a friend, who will be there for you.

He will always catch you should you fall, always be be holding
your hand, seeing you through, no matter what may happen
along the way.

The friend i talk about has been helping and seeing me through,
my good and bad times. his name is jesus, yes he's there for you to

Premium Member You Are Significant!

We've all been crushed at being chosen last for a childhood game,
Feeling that our awkwardness and ineptitude were to blame.
We've all struggled to be loved and accepted by our peers.
At times feeling we don't matter is one of our greatest fears!

From the moment you "entered stage right" on this troubled earth,
The Creator considered you so significant and of priceless worth!
He delights in you, His exquisite and unique Masterpiece!
He is very fond of you - His love and care will never cease!

Etch upon your heart this phrase, "I'm accepted and significant!"
You are the apple of His eye - to Him no one is insignificant!
Even tho' He takes note of mere sparrows when they fall,
You are of much more value than a flock of sparrows, after all!

Tho' you may not be asked to dance and endure humiliation,
Perhaps 'twould be best to brook with grace your frustration.
Ever keep in mind when you feel left out and harassed,
That one day the last shall be first and the first shall be last!

When you feel meaningless and life doesn't always treat you fair,
Reach deep within your soul, call on Him and never despair.
Tho' some may try to kill the spirit, they cannot kill the soul!
Fear not, for He is ever nigh to encourage and console!

The Wind

wind blows and it changes not the same today nor tomorrow
its may have been just me and the me becomes a we or back to just me
no regrets, no pain, no turning back

what of, could of, should of, may tear you up on the inside
step out of the box walk away

what can, will happen, is what should be said everyday
some days tears fall like the rain
some days happiness shines like rays of sun
hear the sounds of the wind as it whispers by carrying all the burdens of sorrow and regrets
of yesterday

Faith

Faith we are laying on the line when we see the unsaved turn their back and walk away. We must have faith that they will return unto Him our Lord and savior .
His amazing grace showed us so much love, peace , joy- giving us a better hope for tomorrow.
God alone is the answer. The unsaved must hear that He’s died to show us that He loved us for what we are and have been through he has been tested too down the same roads we have been as they may be.
If they could only see through His eyes no prices would be to high to be saved and go to heaven’s city May His love, spirit guide and light our way to the unsaved no and forevermore

Why Can'T We Be (Sequel To "innocent Friendship")

You inspire me
I motivate you
Then ask yourself
Why can’t we be?

When the winters are cold
And the summers are hot
Together we give each other comfort
Eliminating all odds

When your dreams are crushed
And you need to be consoled
Here I will come
With open arms

Today it may pour
Tomorrow it may flood
But here I have built a ship
Together we will float atop the rush

The darkness will come
And the light will cease
But having me by your side
You have no need to grieve

Even if we cannot eat
And we have no place to live
I will provide you with a home
Even if in reality it does not exist

If you must go to war
And I am left a widow
Not a soul will know
That I suffer

If sickness manifest
And your body is no longer strong
Not a pleasure will I need
That isn’t your own

But I sit here and I wonder
If this message you will receive
Being that for many days
I have kept quiet what I feel

If you can hear me
Then talk to me
If you can feel me
Then touch me

If you know me
Then, greet me
If you love me
Then, alas why can’t we be?

Illuminate

Illuminate my darkness

So that I may see the tears in my soul

The ripped aspirations

The ragged trails besought

The depths that overwhelmed

Ascension of my thought

That now I may recover

Regain, renew, rescind

And find repaired redemption

Illuminate, my friend.

Secrets

My eyes hold the secrets
That you don’t want to believe
The ones you hide from friends and loved ones
Along with the one of death
Death of your soul
What have you done?
What did you achieve?
How do you live?
The mirrors deny your reflection,
For they see who you are.
The world neglects you sound,
For what you may hear.
Your body betrays your voice,
For what you may say.
You hold hope and shine like the stars
And you redeem yourself
You turn away from evil and spit in his eyes
He has no control over you
Only temptation that you decline
You live for yourself.

Strength

I have been to the edge.
I have seen the depths and darkness that I can fall to.
Never again.

I refuse to give in.
Nothing will break me unless I say it is time.
I will triumph.

Life may be hard.
Times may get rough and trials will come before me,
But I will live on.

It is a new beginning.
It is my long story.
It is time to win.

A COFFER OR A COFFIN

“Rage on,” my friend said unto me
“Guard what’s yours with urgency
For walls can be scaled by scoundrels and enter your domain
So keep a steady eye on what treasures you were blessed to own
Small trinkets of gold or a large diamond ring
never allow a stranger to lodge with you nor accept what he may bring
Lest your coffer be missing when sister sun shines in a criminal’s eyes
“Be wise and wizened by wisdom wrought of rightful indignation
And let no man diminish you nor cause ye somewhere to hide
Hide not the fact for every man to know where you can be found
with armaments for destruction, devastation and all out war be yours
Allow the will of your castle never to be denied
As you hide not the pride you feel inside
And grow greater from all the grief
Stand stagnant ready to be relegated to belief
The fact that no man is unable to protect himself
if be he armed with confidence
The necessary weapons that will bring his enemies down
And the conviction nurtured by his eyes
With a countenance of strength
For you were birthed, born, made, created, and molded by the steady hand of our
overlord of this universe
So suffer no man’s ill will nor any fruitless curse
And as unfolds your destiny which was decided long ago
No matter what the masses may say
I say rage on my friend
Because to you I might seem very kind
But turn your back on even my shadow
and I’ll rob your f******g castle blind

Winds of Hope

May the light
of living truth dispel
the penumbra of decay within us;

   may the winds
   of hope blow away
   our dank isolation from ourselves;

      may the warmth
      of goodwill thaw out
      our ice of hatred and prejudice;

         may we still hope,
         believe and pray
despite and even because of these.

Fear Not

Fear not

Fear not

I will be there to help you

Wherever you may be

I Will come and help you

It is my birth duty

it is my purpose of this life

Fear not my dear!

I will be with you in all your pains and troubles

God has given this life to help you,

help all the needy of this land

Wherever you may be

and whatever your problem may be

My hands and thoughts are waiting to help

You may be in the hell

or you may be in a pit

My hands will for sure lift you from that hell

Call me my brother

to help you in time
