Secrets

My eyes hold the secrets
That you don’t want to believe
The ones you hide from friends and loved ones
Along with the one of death
Death of your soul
What have you done?
What did you achieve?
How do you live?
The mirrors deny your reflection,
For they see who you are.
The world neglects you sound,
For what you may hear.
Your body betrays your voice,
For what you may say.
You hold hope and shine like the stars
And you redeem yourself
You turn away from evil and spit in his eyes
He has no control over you
Only temptation that you decline
You live for yourself.
