Teaching Chimps Some Words

We should teach the chimpanzees to read
the names of certain things. Objects like tools
for instance
then label the tools: hammer, saw, axe,
screwdriver etcetera, then screws and nails.

Teach them just enough words to know
a pickaxe from a pencil…just a few practical words
for practical applications, not too many,
otherwise they might turn into poets,
and god-knows we don’t need anymore of that.

The chimps could build dog kennels for dogs,
shelves for their tools. Park benches for
other more elderly chimps.
They will, of course have no use for words
like romance, religion and politics.

If they wanted to fight among themselves
(as chimps often do),
they could simply go back to grunting,
screaming and throwing sticks at each other,
as we used to.

I might have made a miscalculation,
maybe tools for low-tech apes
eventually leads to holocausts and Hiroshima.

Perhaps after all,
we will just teach them how to write poetry
for those who prefer their muse
to scream and grunt a bit.
Then maybe we can start on the dogs and cats;
force them to play the piano for a living.

A-W

Americans, Algerians, Australian aborigines,
Corrupt leaders of the world involved in illegal activities.
Bloodthirsty bullies brazenly bombing bystanders,
Militaries full of corrupt army commanders.
Charities for children, carers in communities,
Third world countries deprived of equal opportunities.
Doctors, dentists, drugs, disability and depression,
An angry generation full of negative aggression.
Evil egotistic eejits entering elections,
Profiteering politicians with the right connections.
Foul mouthed fools fighting over fossil fuels,
Crooked government clowns creating their own rules.
Greedy gangs gambling, goons glamorising globalisation,
A sad and unfair planet, full of frustration.
History of horrific holocausts, hate crimes, hard times,
Skull and bones, secret societies, illuminati hand signs.
Isolation, intimidation, immigration, inaccurate information,
Hiroshima and Nagasaki still suffer from radiation.
Judge and jury, jam-packed jail cells,
Relentless rebels not doing it for the medals.
Kalashnikov culture, killers keep killing,
The reality of climate change is extremely chilling.
Lame loud mouthed liars living in luxury,
Corrupt politicians should be in custody.
Microchips, machine guns, military madness in the Middle East,
The rich get richer while homelessness continues to increase.
NASA, NATO, new world order, negative nonsense,
Celebrating Columbus Day, do they have any conscience?
Outrageous organisations occupying oil fields,
Double dealing leaders involved in shady deals.
Pitiful pessimists publishing pointless propaganda,
While aids and malaria increases in Uganda.
Quality over quantity or quantity over quality,
An overused phrase that’s used too commonly.
Radicals rallying, ready for revolution,
Air, water, soil and radioactive pollution.
Sick, sadistic sinners selfishly selling slaves,
Fredrick Douglass must be turning in his grave.
Terrible terrorists taking over territories,
Religious beliefs still creating enemies.
Unconscious unkind useless United Nations,
CNN plus Fox News equals bias news stations.
Various victims viciously victimised,
Deadly missiles falling from the skies.
Wars, weapons, whistles blowers on the World Wide Web,
While others sell their souls just to become a celeb.

An Invisible Wall

An invisible wall exists
Between two neighbouring nations
That were once one whole large land

Holocausts of bloody battles
Cold terrorism and bubbled egos
Has cast our irredeemable divide

Generations tilled unitedly
In the undivided country
Whiffing the same gentle air

The ashes of my ancestors
Mingled with their dust
None to separate their fragrances

I'm an off shoot whose roots are buried across
A soft puff brings memories of my predecessors
Luring me to their homes but the wall becomes non-invasive

Earth-2

Earth

Mono syllables are potent
But are best left untouched
They call for a gargantuan grasp.

For this monumental mono
Commonplace,though
With a contemporary spin,
A monologue just wont do.

And without a twin,
Its original ware ,hard and soft ,
Ever a win-win

Holder of holocausts
Moulder of magnificence
Fairly fed on presaging gods

Fielding primordial fate
Flourishing and floundering
Female-male fecundity

Llipid life limpet like stuck
In non- finite lines, measured out
And treasured nonetheless
In miles and guiles,
Millennia and manias

See the Signs'

As Christians we see the signs, if you will, Heavenly signs.
To not see these things is really a Spiritual crime.
As carnal men since Adam we continue to transgress.
Even being freed from Pharoah we have certainly regressed.

All man knows is violence wars killing with no compassion.
It's carnal mans way every Kingdom without God has failed, most shattered nations.
Lines in the sand, boundries every human protecting their own.
Forgetting God's edicts to Love have understanding respecting others homes.

Love is hard. Differences greed vanity rascism all are here.
Thinking the old and new testament is fantasy an outdated thoughtful sphere.
The master of this earth causes great harm a real evil deceiver.
Even fooling scholars, elders, leaders, making the faithful false believers.

Calamity's occuring every other day.
Either children killing children, it's the tricksters evil ways.
The ruler of this earth is a powerful evil Spiritual being.
Smoke and mirrors un-rational carnal man is not seeing.

So our Father who is jealous Has got to get our attention.
So He tells "us" in signs; tornadoes holocausts floods and choas to every nation.
Our planet air water soil are being contaminated we aren't clean.
Trashing God's perfect earth Has our Father wrathful and mean.

Not to His true church not His Spiritual children.
We are promised protection and His Spiritual Kingdom.
You can get into the Kingdom with Love, Faith, hope just ask for forgiveness.
If He wills all is possible through Jesus, God, the Holy Bible His spiritual wisdom we will get there and inherit if we listen to His child Jesus.

The Blackest Day: Revisited

as the Towers die away
alone on a beach where thunderheads Roll
where I stood far from
shards of glass fire, horror, disaster
they televised only elemental chaos
cold rains passed through a nation's heart
then through my soul, hardened
on that day
that day when the unimaginable was destined
to end in fear
the day the towers came down
an insane day of Great Pain
that still haunts our hearts
still to this day, it is a new Infamy
a day that will live forever
for me then, the horrors of the coming holocausts
crowed my nightmares
a great stain of our collective history.
Felt in great disdain as I watch nightmares coming,
the towers, falling,
falling down to earth!
I watch the darkness gather in its wake
the blackest day never dreamt
as a nation cries
as a nation tries to understand
and Stand to face the terror of those future days
I watch divisions of desolation pit
Man against man
Brother against brother
belief against belief
these still echos through to this day
We fought back the tears
And watch what was happening
I try as I might
I try to see a future bright
I try as I might see a nation called together
to come to arms to take a stand
to muster the fight against an invisible enemy
I try and realize this world
this world was destroyed, rearranged
I cry as I feared the loss of a nation's soul
the time is at hand for a new day to be born
I will try and not let the hate burn out the rage
in the coming age, phantoms will linger
in the waiting, the slicing the wrong from right
I watch as a nation stands
tries to understand
a greater love Beyond destiny
I try to stand and understand this war
coming our way

postscript: this was 20 plus years yesterday ago
much has changed much has never gone away,
just like these tears, I fight as memory
cascades a storm in my inner history
all is left open, a sore
all is debris scattered
along a distant shore

now a new terror is born...a new war has come!

2 years and counting...

Crop Circle Communion Thesis

Thru a series of psychological tests I have been declared a demon
Travellin' thru dimensions fatal weapons leave you bleedin'
Dissecting grey matter doesn't matter in my cathedral
But how can you stand my timberlands in your cerebral
Faces of space probes be scattered thru my mental
Acoustics in my chamber just endanger instrumental
Fundamental rhythms are symbols of paternal power
Get devoured by my infinite skills to disappear
Getting lost in the Holocausts that rage between my ears
Complex like gravity
Tragically and mathematically
I defeat your squadron black magically
Analyze the tangle
As you get my mangled by my triangular rhythms
Systematic rotations of my words cause cataclysms

Premium Member The Second Principle

Obtain a regenerative yield,
a positive,
rather than negative, feedback loop,
better than a dissonance feedback screech
of mental and physical madness,
political parties become monocultural mobbing holocausts,
bodies become cancerous hoarders,
churches designed by and for
hierarchical inequalities of spiritual-natural responsibility
for plutocratic celibate authorities, presumably hetero,
males only,
and don't even ask them to start thinking outside their god-given triage
about transgenderal nurturing opportunities
within Earth's nondual co-arising Paradise.

How do we distinguish
between a healthy garden and a weed patch?
By nurtured nutritional outcomes,
positive yield,
inclusively diversifying so more robust profits,
growing healthy wealth creolizing potential,
including harvesting of seeds and bulbs
for our next even more cooperatively self-governing regeneration.

How do we distinguish
between a church or temple or synagogue
and a weed patch?
As above.

How do we distinguish
between playing with abundant time vocations
and indentured competing against time servitudes?
Same answer,
where seeds and bulbs
are cooperative,
organic,
unfold reverse-hierarchically, from within,
composed of and for multiculturing interdependent relationships
which we nutritionally enable together
as Earth's Common Cooperative Church as Garden
producing positive nutritious yields
again,
for and of future faithful self-with-other
ego/eco balancing
regenerators,
doing our best to obtain a positive every-day
at-home
responsible yield for us, together
cooperatively-held, owned, governing,
nurturing and nutritious authorities.

The First and Second Principles of Permaculture Design:
Capture and ReInvest
your regenerative vocational yield,
and not so much the other yucky stuff.

When one of inspiration is shorn
And every poetic thought stillborn
When every glimmer of light disappears
And every proud conceit ends in tears

Should I to my unheeding Muses turn
And offer holocausts for them to spurn?
Would Melpomene listen,Thalia heed
And grant help in my hour of need?

Why do they cast me so cruelly aside
In my own grim Hades to abide?
Prayers do I offer for this barren time
Wherein the empty page is branded crime.

Behind the Sun

The faces of the tom-toms were sallow,
So was the face of the sun, dark-visaged,
Red, and starved through a pogrom
That assaulted the peace of the beasts.

Darkness spelt the names of diseases,
Each pronounced through stiffened tongues,
Whited by the scourge of hate – a common
Figure, cadaverous and laconic, but incestuous.

Grieving rivers sought ways to be rechristened
Or rebaptized by holy rills with less fetor, as
Long as riparian languages were still spoken on
Breaths of brooks, broken, but gathered in bits

By hands that leaned on fermented soot only.
And darkness persisted, perspiring from hostile
Beats of hollow drums when fire reaches them
From tormented skies.

One truth loomed: the truth of a disvirgined
Destiny, clothed in serrated raiment of grief.
On its crown, shredded petals of holocausts
Form toothless thorns shaped like lightning.

Death was prominent, dispirited, and hung loose
On strings smelted on anvils raging from heinous
Rape of a blooded land. Shores wept with humour
When our frightened coasts sneezed with mirth.

I speak of Biafra where the land still bleeds
I recall that vision, of a crowded city,
Where signs were hung in heaven,
Where voices were muted by the colour of bold words.

Premium Member Ghosts

In a dismal old fashioned cell at our ancestral home,
Wherein coconuts, new and old, heaped like a hillock dome;
Kid-butterflies, we're often asked to pick some for curry,
Finding phantom-forms we ran as scared as rabbit bury...

Ghosts of the dead, cloud-looking, appear before the living,
Like quirky grey fogs, smokes, or polar creatures, fear-filling!
Great buffets - Necromancy holds - of hosting for the ghosts;
Thirst of restlessness of souls could be quenched- animism boasts...

My logician friend, at the name of ghosts, like thunder, laughs,
Scared, like a mouse, at celluloid ghosts; impulsively coughs!
My alienist neighbor mocks at the poor ghost-affected;
He, in anger, shouts and yells, like a spirit-infected...!

Returning home from Saint Jude Shrine, my grandpa narrated,
Ghost - a monstrous muddy vulture - flew after me, dread spread!
Helpless, like a lost, at that odd hour of snoring slumbers,
I genuflected; made signs of the cross, countless in numbers...

Ghosts got into human beings, like, termites in the wood,
Jesus, chasing them away, their cruel power, withstood;
He worked, as on war-time haste, erasing, greatest evils,
Did the traditions allow him to nail down true devils?

Merchants and money-makers bake ghosts- cakes and sell gently,
Spreading tales on ghost-havocs, they hoax humans kindly;
Holocausts, burnt offerings, and slaughters they delight in,
Cannibalism, for ghosts-sake, in their eyes is not a sin...

Fire-walking, hooking the flesh, live animal wedding,
Cow-trampling, hanging in the air on hooks, hand-hair plucking...
Goety, Bruja, Lamia, incantation, witchcraft...
Aren't all such mountainous magic and myths great ghosts-updraft?

Phasmophobia, like death-knell, is a fright alarm,
Like illness of body, it hurts the spiritual realm;
An equilibrium of body, mind, spirit, and soul,
Could free us from false fears, molding us integrally whole...

Humans are ghost-angel amalgamation in nature!
Loving and hating themselves and every common creature!
Each thought, word, and action can turn into a ghost in life!
When morals derail from the tracks of existential strife!

Premium Member Injustice, Survive -- and Thrive

Those who today loudly voice their complaints
Might do well to study a people most quaint
The Jewish People for 3,332 years has survived
Despite pogroms and holocausts, still quite alive

A former slave nation exiled to Persia almost 2,500 years ago
Jerusalem then razed to the ground by Rome, as you know
Jews lived by the skin of their teeth for 1,900 years
Until they retook Jerusalem in 1967, a miracle it appeared

Herded into ghettos in Western Europe 'til Napoleon
And the 'Pale of Settlement' further east 'til the 20th century dawned
Jews kept a low profile, in the face of Injustice didn't complain
Beatings, Blood-Libels, Round-ups -- all sorts of Pain

Jews couldn't own land; they were barred from all professions
Countless peasants falsely accused Jews of murder at confession
The Jew became a middleman, a despised money-changer
If he tried to pass for a gentile, his very life was in danger

As if all that weren't enough, last century 6 million precious Jewish souls
died in Nazi gas chambers, crematoria, trenches, open holes
One-third of all the world's Jews wiped out in just six years
Pregnant women and infants murdered in that Valley of Tears

Today Jews are in Jerusalem, Israel! a People standing strong
They refused to give up hope just because they were wronged
What's their secret, you may ask. How did they do it
No smoke. No mirrors. They just stubbornly stuck to it...

Rule #1: Education, universal literacy for all of their seed
From the age of three, every Jewish child's taught to read
Next: Family purity, the holiness and sanctity of wedlock
Women always had rights! but no infant aborted, no child 'bad luck'

And finally, what kept it all together, down through the ages
An unshakeable belief in God and His Law, no matter the outrages
So, from the Jews you might want to take a softer-voiced cue
For you too can do it. Just follow three rules...

Mystery

Every moment your breath touches is filled with completeness—you held the whole universe
On the tip of your tongue (and keep it spinning and dancing and singing moment by moment).
Your love is the great predatoral roar,
The soft caressing tongue of a lioness
It hides in every misty crevice and majestic mountain; in
Every sunset and sunrise and dainty wild flower. The cause of your great sacrifice (a chasm,
Gaping down to the center of the deepest soul
blacker than the inside of nothing, filled with all the horror from
         prehistory to post oblivion
Uncountable hearts from innumerable holocausts)
As you were rejected by yourself, by your father, but your eternal companion

You cried out, and were sucked in (It Is Finished.)

Premium Member Children of the Planets

We are children of the planets,
We are children made of stars.
We once believed in a magic old man
Riding in an airborne sled.
With a bounty of unconditional love
For every child, a bounty for any child.

We must remain those children,
Believing this love is universal,
Believing it is truly unconditional,
Love that glides on sleigh runners
Over ethereal vistas of clouds.
Immortal love, so much greater than
The sum of its parts.

To put an end to the Gaza genocide,
To put an end to future holocausts,
This is the only hope for our species.
We are children of the planets,
We are children made of stars.
